For those of us who have played previous Dragon Age titles (e.g. Origins), do decisions made in those games have any impact on how this game plays out?
Do previous games have an effect?

I've noted some dialogue which acknowledged a choice from a previous game. As far as I can tell, it's nothing incredibly major.
but the decisions are all made via the Keep website now. The actual save games themselves don't transfer over.

There is at least one keep choice that is quite massive. Also you may also meet different peoples in quests depending on some choices.

So the thing to do is load up a new game in DA2 and make note of what happened in DAO, then remember what happened in DA2, and go through the checklist in DA:I? Because I have an Elizabeth Cousland (complete) DAO + Awakenings > Witchhunt, and a (sarcastic) Darya Hawke DA2 (in progress) that should be checked in.

dragonagekeep.com can be used to modify the lore chain/choices if you want to play through with say Leiana dead.
