So I just checked the box that enables Origin cloud saving.

I have not touched DAI yet, I was just disabling the overlay and noticed that cloud save was disabled

Now that I have it on, will it save locally AND onto a cloud, or cloud only?

I only ask because I do not know Origin well and EA might pull something stupid like this.

I don't know to be honest, you should check the EA FAQ or contact a rep by message. I would imagine it should save on both your hard drive and the cloud, but don't quote me on that. Try enabling it then checking the save game location of one of your Origin games. To be sure though check with EA.

BTW mybudgee, next time someone asks a legit question, instead of giving a spam answer, maybe you can help them. I noticed you did this on another thread as well. If you can't post a helpful answer, then please don't post at all.

You save games locally but Origin has a setting in Applications that allows Cloud saving for games that support the feature.

From what I've seen it depends on the game. The Mass Effects have it, but the previous DA don't. I've read especulations that it might have to do with the save file size, but no idea if that's the reason.
