I normally would not post, but I think the issues have to be pointed out by as much people as possible..

Just the biggest issues IMHO:

The stuttering/bad framerate/crashing issues.

I have an i5, a gtx650, and 8 gigs of RAM , yet even on the lowest possible settings, the game still cant maintain a constant fps.

The pc keyboard/mouse controls are a joke.. I seriously doubt that anybody tested this game in on pc, I could deal with the stuttering, but the game is just NOT FUN TO PLAY, because of this, it totally hampers the experience..

(and dont tell me to use a controller, its OK that it is supported, but I bought a game for a PC , and would like an acceptable control scheme for KB+M)

Its been said thousand times but:

-no click to move/loot/attack? (seems like a bad joke , Bioware trolling?)

-using 'tactical' view in this current form is just frustrating (let us zoom WAY higher, in dungeons its not even useable)

-keep holding r to attack? (again, its like they DONT want you to enjoy this rpg )

A lot of stuff(regarding gameplay) were done very well in Origins and in DA2, why change them? I cant imagine it would have been THAT difficult to create a control scheme similar to those games (for a supposedly experienced PC game develeper company)

The message nowadays really seems like this: BUY AN XBOX ONE OR PS4!! BUT MORE LIKE AN XBOX ONE!!! HERE'S A SUB-PAR PORT OF THE GAME,SO YOU KNOW YOU SHOULD NOT PLAY ON THE PC!! BUY AN XBOX!!!

I'd suggest Bioware, if they really dont care about the pc( they did say on their streams, that the pc version got special care or whatever, seems like it was special ,as in very little),your next game should not even be available on the platform, stop fooling pc gamers..

I have to say that I'm not too happy with Inquisition right now.  I'm one of the few PC gamers that actually liked both DA:O and DA2.  They were different games but there were both playable.  Inquisition just seems like a console port from the very beginning.

Clunky keyboard/mouse controls, minimal AI tactic options, no click-to-move-here, no direct healing spells, no auto-attack unless in Tactical, Tactical camera breaking Tactical, simplified ability trees... I'm just disappointed.  Very disappointed.  I fell for the marketing and thought it would be a good blend of DA:O and DA2.  Instead it is console game.  Fine, that's where all the money seems to be these days, but this series started out so well on PC with great RPG elements.

From what I've seen Inquisition does have a good story hook.  I just doubt I will suffer through the game to see it completed.

I Hate The Dragon LOOT!!!!!!

I can get past a lot of the issues and *Make it work* for me, but the Loot is really grinding my gears. Can we add this to the list. I don't know if anyone else killed all the dragons as its Epic till you find your loot only to have an expiration date back in 1980 and its Not 1980 anymore. I find myself consistantly opening the Special thief doors to find a bunch of Dated gear as well. I Even Followed the Prima Strategy guide to the T and did not waiver to see if the loot is made for the level you are and to my finding all the purples you Ever find are about level 9-13Max. Haven't gotten 1 piece of 15+ purple and I'm Freaking level 19. OMFG I guess I will just go collect the rocks and twigs and berries to make some armor cause it's so much more rewarding........ Not.

I find my dragon age game failing to impress me after 70~ Hour mark of playing.

Number of Noticeable bugs

  • Rarely when killing mobs, they stand back up after dead, not dropping loot, and attacking them does nothing. Rarely i can get them to die again with a Firemine or somthing similiar. However, thats rarer.
  • Supply Chests over the map the Inquisition Forces give to you on  the road. 90% of the time, not lootable.
  • 85 Hours in and coding went wrong at some point. The Equipment system thinks my 'Dalish Elf Inquisitor (mage)' is Human-trained only. So i cannot equip anything elven-only related. This really pissed me off.
  • The Benchmark program in the game, does not really do anything but black loading screen, and horribly rendered tutorial sped up crap.

I am seriously hopeing the bolded point gets fixed in the next patch.

I haven't ran into that problem but since I play a Quinari Mage there is some Item's I cannot use. But that would ****** me off if I found a quinari item and couldn't use it.

So what about modding, maybe an official modding tool could help Bioware in introducing features that players ask for!

So what about modding, maybe an official modding tool could help Bioware in introducing features that players ask for!

Hopefully Bioware will listen and patch Inquisition accordingly so I doesn't fall to modders. Not only are people making their outcries heard on these forums, facebook, twitter etc., but reviewers, who otherwise praise this fantastic game, are also noting features that Inquisition got wrong:

Kevin VanOrd regarding weaknesses: "Combat requires relatively little strategy".

TotalBiscuit regarding the tactical camera: "I don't like this at all", "clumsy as all hell".

Quill18 regarding the search button: "You find yourself as you're running anywhere constantly hitting the V key", "I'm not convinced that's a good feature"

AngryJoe regarding tactics: "Pathetic 5 options", "useless".

... There's plenty of feedback out there to take into consideration, I think the OP nailed a lot of them B)

I agree with most what the OP said, except for the potion and heal limit. I like that they did it. The only problem with it is that it is indeed an open world game. If the world (fantastically designed, btw!!) were more structured as to where camps are located, more linear, then this'd be less of an issue.

But my main grievance is that they marketed this with choice, spectacular customization (i'm looking at you, skyhold) and all that stuff, while it was seriously very limited...

One extra problem I would liek to add, that others also probably know, is the non-scaling of enemies. Currently, i've fully explored 5 areas, and am level 21. Three more areas to go, three more areas of enemies being weak stuff.

Don't get me wrong. I like that initially, you can't defeat some enemies and should come back later. but how about level ranges per area? In some areas, enemies scale from 1 to 10, others 5 to 15, final areas 20 to 25. And bosses like dragons should be scaling from 10 to 30 or something (theys hould be a fixed level, but the easiest dragons hould be 10, the next 13, the following 16 etc.).

I'm enjoying the game and all. It is a good game, but once again, Bioware did the exact same fault as they did with every freaking game they ever did in the near past. Overhyped marketing which promises stuff they do not deliver on. Basically lying to us and making a game which COULD be damn-near perfect, but so closely isn't.

Honestly, this is what the game feels like it should have been a year ago, and with our remarks is what it should have been today.

Agreed.

And I also have problem with changes in Thedas. For sake of race equality they added so much not-white characters everywhere. But so much black people in snows - it is ridiculuous. I mean - it isn't impossible, but must be explained somehow in story or somewhere.

And then I wrote about it moderator just erase post without thinking and give me warning. Why? Just in case.

Came across a stupid and irritating bug. After I kill the Barghest and the Phoenix (in the Western Approach), the loots are leaving the ground and are stranded getting suspended in the air, thereby rendering me unable to access the loots!!!  :o

It's not happening always, but sometimes, specially when I am killing near the Gates (of Toth and of Andoral).

What kind of tomfoolery is this?? I am quite convinced after 62 hours of game-play, they NEVER tested on PC; either that or the QA & QC division doesn't exist!

Inquisition on many xbox 360 consoles doesn't work- (disc unreadable error- have cleared cache etc but no fixes work) game crashes every ten minutes or so- so game is unplayable. I've loved Bioware games since Jade Empire on the original xbox. I didn't enjoy the ending of ME3 but at least the game worked. No mention by Bioware of patches for old gen consoles. So essentially I've waited a very long time for two of the most expensive drinks coasters on the market... all it would take to gain me back, and all the others like me who are stuck with this, would be an acknowledgment of the problem and a promise to patch.

I totally agree with you.

For a Race that they implemented into this game they really SLACKED THE F**K off on Hair, Armor Styles and Helmet's, oh wait you don't get a helmet you get a CLOWN face freaking painting. I want'ed to play a Bad Ass Looking Qunari since i Heard it was going to be a Playable race and I ended up playing Iron Bull with level 7 Armor till level 18.... Why? Because the qunari armor is just hideous and bland for the Main Character.   First World Problems, Do it Right!!!

So, some of my feedback and suggestions have been covered by other people, both in this thread and in others. I'll try to focus on some concerns that haven't been mentioned.

Crafting System Suggestion: Resources.

So, the crafting system isn't too bad. If you're a warrior or a rogue. Playing as a mage is something of a crime of fashion. Collecting resources to make heavy and medium armor that both looks good and is functional isn't very dificult. Light armor users however have a considerably harder time collecting cloth. Ore is all over the place, leather has four or more legs and will either run to you or away from you.

Know where Royal Sea silk can be farmed? Uhhhh..... Yeah..

Suggestion: This issue could be resolved or relieved by one or several changes, such as..

Simple Fix - Allowing players to choose which cloth they are looking for when they send an advisor on the collect cloth operation.

Fun Content Fix - Add a cosmetic and functional upgrade to Skyhold's marketplace area that creates a Skyhold merchants and crafting guild headquaters, upgrades the stables, adds a merchants and crafting guild planning table (Just like the War Table but for crafting, resources, and money), along with extra operations for the War Table.

(The idea being that the Inquisator can turn his/her power and infulence into an economic force to acquire any crafting material, common and rare of any rank he / she needs and create trade oppitunities with local empires, maybe even set up shops that sell supplies and provide a profit return to the inquisition.)

Crafting System Feedback: Transparency

This is more of a display issue but the crating window needs to show, in a very obvious way, which items you can slot in additional upgrades to the item or not. Eg, grips, boots, arms etc. If it's there, I'm not seeing it.

General and already covered suggestion: Storage

Several others threads have already made this suggestion, or raised this issue with the game. An armory and vault for the inquisator would be a very useful feature to add to the game.

This sums it all up, I have been looking for that bloody Royale Sea Silk and you would think its by the sea but nope, think its on some high level baddies? Nope. So where do I get all 11 I have collected up to level 21? Oh Random Lootable bags filled with piles and piles of Random Useless crap.

Thanks Bioware

The saving grace is - it's not happening all the time. I sincerely wish that the bug is only limited to that specific Region and those two specific creatures. Otherwise, it becomes a pointless exercise to chase loots, when you can never have them.

If we make a pretty character let us save their face as a preset! Give us something, at least the little code bar like they had in Mass Effect!

I am loving this game...I mean really loving this game...most of the things I have issues with are very very small...I dislike having to use a perk to get more inventory space..I dislike a lot of how inventory is set up and I hate haveing to back out of one menu to go into another when switching up arms/armor...My only really greif is (and I know it would have been a massive pain in rear with all the options in DAO) but WHERE THE HELL IS MY GREY WARDEN!!!! I'm so sad about this! I am sorry Hawke just was no where near as heroic or awesome as the Hero of Ferelden, and it seems like (to me anyway) this entire plot would have been better served if your Grey Warden had been the one to pick up the Anchor. :(

Unfortunaly, I think I read some people in the "Pc concern thread" that it won't happen because of copyrights.

I don't know the details because i didn't wanted to read 10+ pages of comments >.>

Anyone else finding that companions won't appear where they're supposed to be in the keep? And I don't mean they appear somewhere else. I mean they don't appear at all.
