I am loving this game...I mean really loving this game...most of the things I have issues with are very very small...I dislike having to use a perk to get more inventory space..I dislike a lot of how inventory is set up and I hate haveing to back out of one menu to go into another when switching up arms/armor...My only really greif is (and I know it would have been a massive pain in rear with all the options in DAO) but WHERE THE HELL IS MY GREY WARDEN!!!! I'm so sad about this! I am sorry Hawke just was no where near as heroic or awesome as the Hero of Ferelden, and it seems like (to me anyway) this entire plot would have been better served if your Grey Warden had been the one to pick up the Anchor. :(

I beg to differ on this.

Without much spoiler, the grey wardens (even the notable ones) have been shown to be extremely vulnerable to certain antagonist (hints: we have met him before). So, it's kind of a contingency for the author(s) to create a 'new' protagonist to carry on the legacy. Further, for those who sent the hero of Ferelden through the Eluvian - this makes sense why nothing crooked and/or spooky happened with him/her. My two cents thought, that is...

Um, this has probably been addressed but each companion DOES have a unique skill tree :/

And while I agree that you have a potion limit, most camps are only a 30 sec run away, if that. Instant port and then a quick dash and you are good to go.

A run back to camp that makes enemies respawn...

No arguments here, just a list of the changes I hope to see in Inquisition.

*Walking
*Click-to-move/loot/attack
*Auto-attack
*Show interactables with a toggle or by holding a button
*Better UI (tooltips, option to remove/resize minimap, etc.)
*Better tac cam (zoom out further, move camera when mouse edges the screen, etc.)
*Option to rebind mouse buttons and scroll wheel
*Option to manually assign attribute points
*Selection of casual outfits
*Storage chest
*Healing spells
*Freedom to decide what's in my backpack (be it my own problem if I can't loot 'cause I stocked up on healing potions)
*Freedom to decide what armor/weapon I use (be it my own problem if my mage is too weak to handle it)
*Customizable tactics
*Slower respawns

My general opinion: I think Bioware did an amazing job with Inquisition. However, I'm waiting this one out 'till gameplay and PC controls have been improved.

The lack of auto-attack on PC was very questionable for me. I mean I understand it on the console, but on PC? That's just asking for carpal tunnel.

um, I think you kinda misunderstood what I said. There is a certain perk that let you have more potions, but it's just an increase in total amount of potions, not adding extra slots, as far as I know. I'm really tired of having to set my entire skill slots right before every battle, because I can't access to personal ability tab while fighting. Some enemies are vulnerable to certain skills, I'd like to use those specific skills more freely. 8 skill slots, in my opinion, are just not enough.

I didn't agree with all of those points, mainly with the Search button and I had no idea what the first point about companions or characters was about omg >.>.

The Search button is needed for Inquisition because of the hidden items for quests. It is a detector now and that is why you have to click it multiple times. They cannot remove this function because the hidden quest items are hidden and we will not be able to complete these quests if the Search is removed.

I agree with majority of those points however, particularly the ones to do with combat. Playing on harder difficulties is infuriating because of the hand-holding and babysitting you have to do with your companions.

Throwing Tomatoes ? Allright, here is mine.

DAI has been a massive disappointment for PC gamers who use mouse and keyboard  like myself.

Otherwise, DAI is overall slightly above average game.

The story is okay but not outstanding. Corypheus is not fleshed out at all and the game does not allow you to be the Inquisitor you want to be, it imposes its morality on you. Still, many of the side story missions, especially the one imvolving the Elves are good.

The banter is good but bugged and does not trigger.

There are many armor combinations but little to no armor variety since all that went into multiplayer so they all look the same.

Some romances are good and some are terrible so it adds up to average. The romances in this game are not reactive at all which makes them feel more backward than DAO's romances.

Overall, the advisers and followers themselves are well done, with the exception of Sera. Her character is just awful.

The combat is downright broken with Flask of Fire, Knight Enchanter which makes the whole "We removed healing to give the game a more challenging feel" & "We limited combat abilities to 8 for strategic reasons" seem downright pointless.

Gaming on Keyboard and Mouse is a nightmare in and of itself and the "you just get a controller" argument is a stupid one. The game was supposedly advertised to work well on all platforms and all playing tools, games should not be spending extra money to get the optimum experience.

The Tactical Camera, Pause and Play and Friendly Fire are all clearly an afterthought. The game was designed to work on Action Play with button spamming, which is how you play multiplayer. Yet, they said "DAI Multiplayer will not impact single player !" At least these features are there so its something.

There is little end game content and the game overall feel grindy and very MMO-ish. Who thought it was a good idea to make a game with large world spaces and only realistically give us 25 levels to play with ? Skyrim had 80 levels for crying out loud. Still, there is plenty of stuff to do, I suppose.

The whole de-leveled world approach in this game frankly does not work properly. Corypheus' Level is 18. Lol ! I suppose the main aim of doing a de-leveled world was to prevent grinding but most of this game is about grinding. It is quite frankly a disappointment to work all your way through, be level 20+ and then just facestomp Corypheus and his pet dragon. I mean, the Corypheus' fight in DA2's Legacy DLC was a lot harder than DAI's one.

Then there is multiplayer. On PC it is terrible. It is as if Bioware did not learn anything from ME3's multiplayer. Additionally, those 50.00+ dollar credits for crates ? Lovely microtranscation crap going on there, EAWare.

Overall I would rate DAI on PC 6/10, with the final score with all the bugs fixed at 7.5/10

In the long run, without modding support, I fail to see how DAI will flourish.  This is true of any RPGs with a large world space.

Skyrim is 3 years old now and the only reason it remains extremely popular is because of the modding community, not multiplayer community.

Bioware has now effectively become like Apple. They have long stopped innovating on their own and are just copy-pasting elements from other games and companies.

If they go down this route, I foresee them losing their original fanbase entirely.

Cheers.   B)

My suggestion is something that has been bothering me while playing and that's the larger open regions. Don't get me wrong they are gorgeous and well crafted but they just feel too empty and unfocused to me. Too much telling and not showing.

So as feedback goes, I would be hoping that in future content maybe they use smaller areas that are more story and cinematicly focused to pull you in to what's happening. While still having little off beat areas for side/bonus things.

I'll use hinterlands as an example. If they had more focus or cutscenes showing the mages vs templars with people getting caught in the crossfire and actually put faces and names to the camp leaders it would have had more of an effect. Same with its dungeons and bandit forts.

So ya I'll take more focused stories over exploration and larger zones

Blunt and abusive I think not every one who paid for this game droped 60-70$ that is time to get real status. I am suprised that people are shocked by facts and opinions. I have droped some serious cash on this game to support 2 computers and 2 ps3 consoles and for some reason I feel like i am a beta tester on this game. This game was released to early. EA fire your tester team and get real testers in there that give a damn. Better yet play your own game on all consoles it is apperant that in the ps3 version some one just wiped their butt and threw it is a case. But that is for another forum post discussing ps3 version.

Unfortunately I am beginning to agree with the OP.  I so want to love this game.  But some of the clunkiness is starting to wear me down.  I have trudged over to my last elfweed.  Why oh why can I not just click on the darn thing for pete's sake.  My fingers are blistered from all the battles I've been in without auto attack.  Yes, the landscape is wonderful and I do love so much about this game, but the gameplay just plain sucks.  Not to mention that now for some reason I cannot get into my game without fighting through messages from Origin and/or EA every time.  I don't know if I have somehow inadvertently set something up to allow them access to my game, but it is driving me crazy.  I just want to get into the game and play it.  Now I have to log in every time with both of them.  I have finally decided to put the game away for awhile until the can work out the kinks.  I've never played ME3, and I think I'll try that out.  This one is making me crazy.  PS, I agree with the above poster, Kilabee, I spent too much money on this game to be a beta tester on it.  I feel a bit disappointed to say the least.

My personal conclusion is, that although the graphics are really stunning (the world, not the look of the characters), breathtaking visuals to look at, but the world has lost all its emotion. I remember all those situations in DA:O, I actually cared for my companions, all those little stories and the fateful decisions, that gave me emotional value and atmosphere. Here, my companions could easily be exchangeable. They seem to be pale, there is no real emotion or feeling to favor one over the other. And females that look like males with boobs, and walk like males, do not improve that...

This is not correct, in fact IMHO the companion characterisation is the best of all 3 games. I have a lot of criticisms of the game but this certainly isn't one of them.

I really think they need to add a storage mechanic. Ideally we should be able to access storage from any camp or stronghold. Pointless inventory restrictions just kills exploration.

Here are the small things that annoy me the most. All of them have been mentioned already but I guess it doesn't hurt to reiterate:

- Save game limit and next to no information whatsoever when loading a save. Naturally, there is no option to rename the files.

- No Black Emporium like mirror that allows character customization in the game, adding scars, changing hairstyles, stuff like that.

- No storage chest (again).

- No walk toggle, this is just ridiculous.

- No option to change the casual outfit, forcing us to wear that beige nightmare. At the very least let me change the colour.

Pretty much I agree with Ishtan.

Kind of expected a better inventory and crafting system. And the companion quest for Blackwall - I think his name is? Don't want to spoil if but gosh - just  another collection quest? <shrug> maybe I missed something? And Redcliffe? Why couldn't they make if resemble the original just a bit- just a tiny bit?

So far not including the PC control issue I find I am just really bored still and find the story just lacking in cohesiveness and interest.

I was hoping for more of a return to DAO - inventory system, combat system, skill, talent, attributes,  story, characters, hero - ya know that kind of thing.

I really think marketing must have looked at the Skyrim data and decided that is what everybody wants. Because it seems to be the people that are the happiest are the Skyrim fans and of course those lucky ones who aren't on PC's .

Just very sad.

I need to know where did you get this data from! Comparing this blasphemy with Skyrim is an insult that will have serious consequences - as written in the Elder Scrolls! Jokes aside, only creating big landscapes is not known as "open world"!

Sometimes, well... specially during few of the "collect the shards" mission, I forgot whether I was an inquisitor or a fetcher-monkey! Collect and gather quests are there in abundance in the Elder Scroll series (or for that matter any RPG), but the problem is with the implementation of the actual theory.

To contonue my previous post.

Itemization and Crafting: - Sexy gear, 6 levels below your level.

Isssue: At some point around level 17 or 18 I started getting level 13 gear as loot drops from mobs as high a level as 19. The Storm coast dragon was one such example. Aside from making adjustments to the loot system I would also like to suggest the following.

Suggestion: Allow players to assign our blacksmith to reforge items we find in the field or craft, using crafting materials we already own. Found an awesome looking sword that has crap stats? Turn that sucker to Silverite! Also, add an option to allow players to reverse engineer items we find for crafting schematics.

Just to follow up on my suggestion about creating a civilian, merchant and crafting council. A Dwarven Metallurgist and a mage that specializes in textiles and a Tanner might prove useful to the Inquisition. Creating your own fade touched ores and cloths.

The council would actually be fairly large and might consist of The Stable master, Researcher, Chantry Mother, Barkeeper, Blacksmith, Artificer, Metallurgist, Textile specialist and possibly a Mayor for Skyhold. Assuming any extra buildings are setup and the fortress becomes a City State.

Just give them a mission board or meeting area, a bit like the War room but used for internal Skyhold issues.

A wonderful suggestion, which will definitely increase the replay value.

What left me wondering is - whether this feat can be achieved without a mod or not. Despite the term "open world" being "loosely" used with this game, I don't think that the devs have left any option(s) to change the fundamentals of the crafting system or for that matter the loot system.

And from what I have gathered, Frostbite discourages modding (don't know for sure, though)...

A question from the sidelines: Is it true that you can´t save your game except in the camp/specific point?

ni**a thats darksouls...
