Hello.  Right now, I'm doing the quest called "Where the Buffalo Roam," in the Hinterlands; I'm almost at the farm where I lead the buffalo back to, however, the buffalo is currently in the water and won't move from it.  Anyone know how to make it unstuck?

Nevermind.  I figured it out; I was going the wrong way (a shorter way) to the pasture.  Sorry.

This is such a dumb quest. What is even going through the minds of devs when they make stupid quests like this? I've been trying to get him back for an hour and he either gets stuck or just stops following me. So annoying.

Hmmm, for me it went pretty quickly. I took the most direct route back to the farm, and the only place where it got stuck was at the stream next to the camp. Strange that it took so long for you.

well mine is stuck at the farm. It simply refuses to go into the pasture with the rest....

Anyone suggestions?

I've been having issues with this quest as well. When I try to take the beast through the shoerter path (where the rift is/was), he gets stuck instantly on the little slope to the left (where the skull like torch is). When I try to take him the long way around, he won't so much as follow me past the little rock passage. Basically, the dumb thing refuses to follow me 20 meters from where you find it...

I've been at this for an hour (clearly too stubborn to give up), and can't finger out wtf to do at this point.

Return to an earlier save maybe?

It went fairly smoothly for me too.  I had to walk a little slower to keep her in my view, but I took shortcuts (through water, down little cliffs) and she followed without any issues.  Once I got to the farmland, I just walked into the pen and the quest ended, even though Druffy was still on the other side of the building.

The only water my buffalo crossed was that stream where the rift with level 13 monsters is. It wouldn't cross the stream next to the camp. Luckily, there's a bridge of sorts nearby.

It stuck many times on the way, the shortest is through the river, just avoid the rift there
