Hey guys I was wondering if anybody managed to enter the vault in that Dwarf ruin Valamar? I placed the two cogs on the door and when I click on the door it says " Door opened with mechanism". There is no option to click on the cogs.......

You need to rotate each cog to get the door to actually open.

in other words HOLD DOWN YOUR mouse button to make it move. took me a moment on that too

I cant move it - just they are inactive=\

Also horse doesnt apear for the master horse quest.

I faced other bug, I got the two keys, but the game only recognized one of them. I had to leave and reenter the area and then was fixed

you guys wouldnt happen to be using a trainer would you?

 

the trainer will bug quests if you have them activated.

 

for some quests you have to completely back out of the game then restart without them activated. 

 

some other quests are you just cant complete no matter what because the trainer has altered the value of the quest.

Resolved this just in case anybody wants to know how: So the option never appearing for me to twist the cogs. Reloaded to earlier save game and the same thing. Repaired the game using origin and reloaded save........this time the option appearing to twist the cogs.

It wont even let me place the cogs.  How did you guys place the 2 cogs on the door?  If I click on the door, I get the "This door can only be opened by some kind of mechanism."

 

Any help appreciated.  Surely it cant be a bug already.  And no, I'm not using any trainers.

Each cog goes on each side of the door where it states to put cog (long mechanism) and once those are on turn each cog then open door

My silly error.  I was at the wrong door!   lol
