Some of you sound like entitled little kids. Despite my dissappointment with the UI and the fighting mechanics. I still enjoy the game so much. They have put so much effort, and have taken a lot of our feedback. They made the maps huge, the romances even better. Personal quests. The fact that people call you by your last name. My character is noticed. I love how your choices affects your game greatly.

I personally dislike the tactics; it feels dumbed down.

I cannot make my party members to stay still and attack at the same time. Maybe I am doing it wrong.

I don't like how I scroll with my middle mouse button takes me to tactical camera.

What happend to having like 15 skill slots on my UI? I loved that.

On another note. Have you people realized they have already acknolewed that the PC version has problems. Calm down. They are working on a patch. Patches in a game this big does not take hours or a few days. They need to assess the problem, fix it, and test it to see if it conflicts with other mechanics in the game. Trial and error. It pains me to see people diminishing this amazing game over something like this. And, Mr Darrah already said it:

Behave people.

Go play the game buddy since you have no issues. Why are you even on this topic? Get off your high horse.

There are people getting constant CTD, some people can't launch the game, some people are having massive fps drops. Its great that the game works for you but just because bioware says that something doesn't make it true, actions are what speak, and their actions are not aligning with what they say.

Imagine DAI with DAO controls and tactical camera, and with DA2 fast style combat, plus with HUD like ''something'' between DAO and DA2 and of course without crashing  that many people have.. That would be masterpiece lol And the best part is that all of this was really possible, but we would have much better experience than console players perhaps, and now we have opposite...

I'll bet a lot of people who are on the fence about buying Dragon Age: Inquisition will be checking out the #myinquisition hashtag on Twitter on Friday.

Which is tomorrow.

At around 3:30 pm MST.

Ya his issues are with gameplay, he can actually play the game without crashing or having any technical problems.  Just because he can play the game doesn't mean everyone can and its not his place to call people "entitled little kids" because people are frustrated.

Did not actually say that.  Nor do I believe that.

I'm playing the game on a PC.  It's not that I'm okay with being lied to.  It's that I don't feel like I have been lied to.

And actually, many people are in fact saying the game is garbage simply because it isn't as optimized for their control scheme preference as other PC games are.  While I understand that argument, it shouldn't override everything else the game has to offer.  My problem isn't that people have negative comments to make about certain aspects of the game.  It's the level of venom in those comments and the almost complete inability to see the good things due to the blind rage.

dude, if you are sooooo happy with everything and you feel BW didn't lie to you, what are you doing here?????? should not you be playing your most favorite game in the whole wide world???

let me put things maybe in a perspective you can understand....you go and buy the perfect car....only the tires are squared, and you cannot change them, and when you complain, the answer is...well, it works like a charm for me specially downhill, you just have to adapt....

Curious, anyone know of a way to possibly show support and thanks to the developers like the code monkeys, graphic designers, story writers etc. etc. without showing any support to the garbage dweller used car salesmen in the marketing or the failures in suites that lied about this stuff and shoved an unfinished product out the door?

Easy. The developers should not work for the unscrupulous. It is a question of ethics. Please do not separate the unscrupulous cashing big bonus checks with the enablers living paycheque to paycheque. They're the same. One symbiote could not do it without the other symbiote.

Make the world a better place.

It is possible for someone to simultaneously think that Inquisition is a good game but has the potential to be a great game with more finesse on the PC side. More ability slots, a tac cam that's actually tactical, tactics instead of behaviors for companions, walk/run toggle, click to move, click to loot, stuff like that. It's a good game that feels (and likely is) like a ham-fisted port, and that's putting it as nicely as possible. So yeah, just because someone likes Inquisition doesn't mean he's a DA fanboy, a secret Bioware employee, or that he don't have issues he wants addressed.

Dev sez : Tis be a true PC game, we swears it, like DAO but betters.

Result: Looks like a console port with shitty ui and a poorly thought unusable tac cam

Consequences: Much deserved shitstorm

Have no problem if people think that. In fact I think that the core game underneath is great but its unplayable for me right now. What I despise is them spewing out bs about "entitlement". It is a crappy argument that has been used too long by fanboys defending a broken product.

I am playing the game. I have listed MY issues. After I downloaded the beta drivers for my graphics card my CTD diminished. Furthermore, I have a problem with your attidude. It is not wrong to voice your opinion. I just have a problem when people attack others, like you are doing it now for voicing my OPINION.

"We are aware that there are major faults in the controls of the PC-version of the game, but since the only course of action left to us was holding the release or trying to patch these issues as soon as possible, we chose to release the pc version anyway to allow players which use a gamepad to play the game on its intended launch.

Our apologies and we hope for your understanding and patience,

sincerely The Bioware Dev-Team"

Would have loved to see something like that provided to us this past week.

It might have hurt Bioware Division's sales projections and therefore hurt Bioware executives' jobs. As it is, it hasn't effected anyone playing XboxOne, like Muzyka (shareholder?), or loving the PS4 like Darrah, or leaving for job interviews vacation Laidlaw.

It would be best to hit the executive recruitment agencies now before DA3 flops.

You know, I am not sure but I think accounting will sum sales returns to places like Amazon and brick and mortar shops after December reports. Until then, the pre-orders will almost meet DA2 levels on the income statement. Then the correction will occur due to credit card chargebacks and store refunds and the statement of cash flows will tell the tale.

Best to get a new job before then.

Anyone else getting sound issues

Music blocks out dialogue
Sometime conversations wheel gets greyed out but choices listed

Can't comment on the sound issue as I have not seen (errr heard) that yet.

The conversation issue I get all the time, mouseover does not work at times until (for me) you right-click (anywhere on screen, it does not seem to matter) and then the mouseovers are back.  There are a number of quirks like that I have found regarding mouseover behaviour.  It does not consistently work.  Reminds of Skyrim actually and its flash based (I believe) interface.  It has mouseover issues as well.

True but still, it's a big difference between two EU countries! Which is why I reacted!

Did you update your sound drivers? that might be it. I also have a bug in where the banters won't even play out, as well as not being able to click on some conversation options unles a right click somewhere else.

AI for me is becoming a problem, particularly for archers. I mean, there´s a very specific skill that grants extra damage if the character is higher than the target. Well, I position Varric (typically) on higher ground; why does he have to leave that position when he´s not attacked, has range on target and line of sight so shoot it?

Ranged AI sucks bad. Every time you postition them at range, they decide they want to be in melee range and run in. The final battle in Haven was ridiculous.  Open lines of sight/fire all over the place, the idiot AI would always move the mage and archer into melee range instead of leaving them where I put them. Every time I made Varrick jump up on the crates to take advantage of the height, he'd jump back down and run into the thick of things again.

I understand I'll get a lot of responses, though it was actually a specific question for "what does Brogan want?"  The first link contains a lot of general issue, but unfortunately I find the title a bit misleading (many of the issues are for the game itself, not PC platform specific).  I'm hoping to not conflate "general issues" with "issues with playing the game on the PC."  Although you have answered on some level the PC specific concerns which is appreciated.

I know Mark has taken things like Able Gamers things to heart and is examining stuff like that (I do too).  There are some challenges with the game design that do fundamentally make "parity" with the two previous titles likely impossible, most specifically the ability to jump (jump actually had a very large impact, even if on the surface it seems like a small scale change - but without it you cannot proceed past the prologue for example).

I cannot understand why the ability to jump can have so much impact. I have the feeling that you do not understand how the disabled players are playing the game. You guys talk so much about we design the game for the pc community or we take the AbleGamers so much into heart. Big talk and no effort.

I played and raided long time World of Warcraft  with success with one who was disabled. He played the game with a Logitech Advanced Gameboard and yes he jumped and used spells like everybody else. But I see the problem with DAI. It is a pain in the *** to play with this controls. You can clearly read what they want: “@AbleGamers @bioware I'm a bit pissed with Bioware removing click-to-move. People with disabilities need this. We need developers to see us. “

He does not write something about disable jump please. Do not use them as an excuse please. I think the majority of the pissed folks here would be fine when you would let them use click to move, loot and auto attack. It is an easy fix. All the other complicated technical problems could be patched bit later.

Whoops!

Try again.

The main problem that I feel with the current controls is that it's too much of a hassle to control multiple characters, combine that with some very limited tactical options and I get a poor gameplay experience when playing on higher difficulties (I get a poor experience on lower difficulties too but then I can get away with mostly just control my character and let the others derp around).

Almost no tactics combined with an AI that makes all characters seems like they are at least somewhat retarded means I have to manually control the characters a lot more.

Very limited overview of the battle doesn't help.

Very limited ways to select characters doesn't help. I want to drag box select multiple characters when I move them somewhere. I want to click on a character to select them.

No edge panning the camera.

And NO tactics doesn't help!
