Actually, it has been neither fully confirmed nor fully debunked.
The tests ran show that each cycle has to endure way more queries due to Denuvo encrypting every command, forcing an encryption/decryption cycle for all game-related commands - and thus tripling at minimal the amount of queries in each cycle. So while basically it puts more stress on the SSD, it's depending on the quality and speed of the SSD how it affects the SSD. But it's safe to say it isn't the most enduser-friendly of DRM applications...
Somebody will eventually perform some standardized typical scenario tests. If the writes are even a % point higher than a non-DRM affected result, **** will hit the fan.
