Awful lot of people acting like spoilt children in this thread. They are working on the fixes and there will be a patch soon. Must be very disheartening to produce an amazing deep game like this and to come here and read this nonsense. The people that made this game are human beings that put a lot of effort into producing this and they should be proud.

OK some people are having technical issues and I undestand your frustration but please get a grip.

Yeah right. I tell the same thing to my boss every day. Such a cool product we sell and customers STILL complaining about scratches. How dare they!!! Don´t they see that we make their lives better?

Seriously, it´s the companys task to make customers happy and not the other way, we can talk about that if THEY give ME the money.

now i read the game messes up your ssd and gpu... no wonder my pc has been making weird noises. I removed my gpu to try and figure out what was wrong with it, but its since i started playing DAI that these issues began.

You're probably just hearing coil whine.

I can't help but wonder if we are seeing the death of PC-gaming.  I think about the potential astronomical variables associated with the multitude rigs out there and think maybe they need to dedicate resources to consoles-only since they are identical, whereas hundreds of thousands of computers are spec'd differently all running different software.  It would seem an impossible task to keep straight.  Disheartening thinking this may be the case, but not sure the additional resources put into trying to make it work for "everyone" is worth it.  Of course I am one of the fortunate PCers posting here without the plethora of problems outlined in this thread.

WoW the most popular game in the world is on the PC, games like DOTA, LOL etc etc that are becoming popular are all on the pc. The current hardware for the this gen's consoles is laughable, and barely running the modern games. PC-gaming is hardly dead.

My apologies, but I thought somebody already proved that all those claims about the game messing up your ssd were nonsense.

^So, online gaming?

you said pc gaming is dead, which it isnt. Weak console hardware is already pushing it to the max, with games barely running at 30 fps, if anything it would be in dev's best interest to make their games available to the pc.

Not only online. Take a look at TES. While it's possible to play it on consoles, you won't have access to hundreds of cool mods there. Mods keep these games alive and popular more than anything, and bethesda knows that.

Yeah right. I tell the same thing to my boss every day. Such a cool product we sell and customers STILL complaining about scratches. How dare they!!! Don´t they see that we make their lives better?

Yeah. I wish I could tell the same to my boss and then do nothing for months while receiving paychecks, like bioware devs can.

Well with DAI winning 'game of the year 2014', Bioware now feels like they made the right decision porting over from the consoles so they will have no need to do anything to the mouse and keyboard controls.

Yeah, and that also means that they will probably go in this direction for the next DA game..

You know, DAI has just as many bugs with quests and scripts on consoles, and even more in some cases. And console players don't have patches so far either.

I'd say it means that opinion of players doesn't have anything to do with all those rewards, so you might as well ignore them.

Customers like you are the main reason why players who pre-ordered the game are being seen as beta testers today. I bet you freak out if you only see 2 pcs of Oreos in a 50 pack and run to Walmart for a refund.

In my country, 70$ is 6-day salary for half of the country. You should understand what that means if you are earning your own money.

to be fair, everyone preordering games is part of the problem, doesnt matter if he is satisfied or not. and when 70$ is so much money for you, do your research before buying the game.

Oh trust me, PC gaming is far from dying, alot of new developers are stepping up while the old are simply not keeping up with the times. The indie scene is incredible, but unfortunately due to small marketing budgets you have to seek them out yourselves.

Now that Inquisition picked up GOTY, we'll see the patch drop. Patches are the PR version of "we're sorry;" dropping a patch soon after launch is akin to admitting your game is a broken mess, so by delaying patches, EA can pretend everything is peaches.

So the devs use GAF, Reddit and Twitter to interact with the community, but they ignore their official board. Nice.

Ah, obviously, still no ETA on the patch. *facepalm*

Mine either.. I think its like a $10 Logitech mouse lmao

Hell! My mouse is even CORDED!

Prefer corded mouse. A lot of gaming mouses are corded = improves response time. Corded mouse with 5 buttons here, and game recognizes only 2.......How come their own MMO SWTOR got it right, but this game failed is beyond me....

Bioware: "You will likely not hear us say anything more than we are working on a patch. The reason for this is some things are out of the developers control."

OMG, that's all I NEEDED... -.-

Why can't they just post it HERE?!

Well, this only makes the theory of the patch awaiting approval from MS/Sony very likely. Oh well, at least some news.

They got our money. They received the award. We can not deprive them this award. Hence we have to deprive them our money.
