Works fine for me != works fine for everyone
And you think a patch will magically fix every problem for every user?

Works fine for me and I'm playing it on a 'middle class' Laptop of all things. And I also have no problem getting over myself and plug in a goddamn Controller instead of *****ing all the time about "muh mouse and keyboard!"
No wonder we're getting the silence treatment.
Then what are you doing in here then? Enjoy your game and stop posting BS like this.
That's right, most of defending arguments are "man look at other games/companies".
Well we don't care, right? Bethesda is known for buggy games, Elder Scrolls are more like rich platforms for modding, because original Skyrim has awful balance and immersion, lets forget animations or story quality.
And here most of the bugs are engine related, confirming the lack of proper testing on different specs.
The difference being is that with games like Skyrim, mods where available and supported from day 1,most people like myself use Sky UI to "fix" the controller centric interface and texture mods like Cabals AMB Book of Silence series to fix the "console graphics".Here there is no mod support and no current plans to make the game mod friendly, Also Bethesda did not release a video before game release stating that their game was "made by PC Gamers for PC Gamers".
Not only that after patting each other on the back at the award ceremony they don't post any updates on their own bloody forum, yet spend large amounts of time making self congratulating posts on Twitter and Reddit hiding like cowards instead of coming on here and offering a apology and compensation for the mess they have made of the PC port.It seems Bioware is now giving the same non existent customer service that won its parent company EA the award for worst company in America 2 years running.Since they only did half a job on the PC port every PC customer that keeps the game should get reimbursed 50% of the purchase price. They need to either make the mod tools available so we can fix the awful UI ourselves of take the whole thing back to the drawing board. Its a disgrace that PC gamers are being constrained by the limitations of the far inferior consoles.

Taking a break to keep up how the patch is coming along. After all, where else would I learn about it first then here?

The mod issue is not exactly Bioware's fault. Not their engine and DICE clearly never intended it to be mod friendly.

I want to print this and frame, just so I can show people how entitled some PC gamers are. UI and controls are not "bugs" that need to be patched because you don't like them. Demanding a company change their design choices because they don't cater specifically to you is crap, and it's a small wonder they have not confirmed or even talked about when such a "fix" will be coming down.
And what about people like me, that like their design choices on PC? I have no problem with the Tac Camera or the UI and I use a key board and mouse. Why should my experience change because YOU don't like it? Why should I have a patch forced on me because you don't like the set up?
Get over your "PC Master Race" mentality you impudent child, and worry about actual fixes that need to be made for PC.

Are you serious? On twitter, of course.

Please stop comparing DAI to Skyrim or whatever you pick out. I said we should stop shouting "oh boy, I know AAA games that were buggier that DAI on release, worse supported or else, so everybody calm down and proceed to consume feces silently because apparently it's todays game industry feature, enjoy".

I don't use Twitter, or Facebook for that matter.
Too bad, bioware devs use them and only them. Thus when they will say something about patches, it will be there, not here.
The news you are reading is from fans seeking out these devs to find the answers we've all been waiting on. At least show some appreciation for those who actually bothered.

I wonder who made the decision to use this engine though... Especially considering all those directx issues.

Frankly I dont care what you think! go spout your Biodrone nonsense elsewhere! PC's use a mouse and keyboard ergo having a useable mouse and keyboard interface that works is a priority on a PC,they did it on DAO and DA2 and yet have failed to do it on DAI with no justifiable reason !
We have been limited to 8 hotbar abilities purely because the consoles with their gamepads can only map 8 ability's,instead of giving us a menu interface that designed for mouse and keyboard yet works with a gamepad like Witcher 3's we get the mess that we currently have. They make a video saying this game was "made by PC Gamers for PC Gamers" when it turns out they spent zero effort on the PC interface and instead to copy pasted the console interface, sure I could play with a gamepad which should be a choice not mandatory because they didn't even bother with the M/KB UI resulting in something to broken that its unplayable with anything but a gamepad.
Any news on a patch yet and what it will fix??

They are not bugs, however they run contrary to the gaming style that was marketed and as such are either incomplete / in need of fixing or points that mark the Devs which participated in various promotional videos as shameless liars. Sure, marketing is marketing, however in the past Bioware was rather honest in the communication with their customer base. Part of the reason the "entitled" people here are angry is the point that this game marks the end of that era.
"Mash autoattack button to hit things is a feature closely associated with tactical RPG combat" - said no one. Ever.

We are not entitled. We've been promsed a PC game, i bought this thinking it was a PC game, and what we have is a pure unadulterated console port. The controls are very far from every PC standard ever, it hurts (why can't we bind mouse buttons, why can't we use the mouse in the invetory menu to spin the character around?). The UI is unpractical and frankly, awful. And the tac, cam, oh god, it's being blocked by terrain and you can't see sh!t when there's a ceiling above your head. In a few words, the product does not correspond to the advertisement.
I'm sorry, my standards are not as low as yours.

Walking toggle. Potentially. Might take a few months however, Dev's decided to implement it properly and have currently hired people to walk slowly up and down the office, so they can study the movements.
With the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition, we've been hearing a number of concerns from members of our PC community, including:
- Driver support
- Hitching and frame rate issues in cutscenes
- Feedback on keyboard and mouse controls
- General user interface optimizations for PC
We've been following these issues closely and are looking into them.
Player experience is a top priority for us. Our goal is to address as many of these as possible in our upcoming patches, including some in our next patch, which is underway. We’ll release further details in the coming days and will continue to monitor your concerns.
Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate your contribution to making Dragon Age: Inquisition a better overall experience.
UPDATE:
If you are having DirectX issues and you have an AMD Radeon graphics card, please update to the AMD Catalyst 14.11.2 beta driver.
We are aware of issues with certain NVidia graphic cards and we are working with NVIDIA for a solution.

I guess you didn't bother to read the OP did you? That or your reading comprehension levels are on par with farm animals so I've taken the liberty of quoting the OP and highlighting the relevant sections for you.
You see how the word BUG isn't listed on either one of those lines I've helpfully outlined for you. They asked for this info for a reason. The reason being that they obviously know that many PC standard features are missing from this product and they wanted those things pointed out to them in further detail.
People like you are one of the biggest problems not just in gaming but in society in general. You take **** that you don't need to and expect others to do the same because somehow you equate pointing out when something is subpar to entitlement. People like you are the reason nothing ever gets done politically. Because even though the voters hold all the power if they actually ****** showed up to the polls, too many people like yourself are all to eager to sit on your asses and do nothing because you don't want to be seen as uppity.
Well congratulations on being a door mat, but I don't wish to join you in that distinction.
In a 660ti I GOT THE SAME PROBLEM.
LONG LOADING TIMES.
FPS drops in some areas.
...
Every reviewer including Totalbiscuit use a nvidia 900, the game runs fine in those.
For everything else, RUNS BAD. So Fix it !!!
PEOPLE, PEOPLE!!!
I get bad FPS but is not my pc, is the optimization in the game. (i can run Battlefield 4 VERY SMOOTHLY and so many games, im usign a 660ti and it's a very good video card)
Must people say the game runs FINE, but is not true.
In my case, the game loading time takes too long and some areas have FPS drops (even at LOW my game run a 14-19 FPS).
THIS PROBLEMS wont happen in highly core i5 i7 with nvidia 900 series card.
The game doenst run properly in Nvidia 600 series or below. You will have FPS drop, even at LOW settings.
That's interesting because I have that exact same GPU (GTX 660 Ti) and have had zero problems with performance or display. I am running everything on high or ultra apart from "Tessellation Quality" and MSAA. I don't see any slowdowns and game loading is only ever a matter of seconds (but is installed on an SSD). Game play problems and bugs on the other hand, well ...
FWIW, the rest of my system is i5-3570 @3.40GHz and 16GB RAM, on 64 bit Windows 7 pro.

Do you a favor and read this : http://forum.bioware...nd-suggestions/
You will understand if you played previous game but may not if you're a total newbie of the serie.
The poster's contempt aside, it's actually a very good point being made.Yes. I sense we are really getting to the hub of a lot of these issues now.
Honestly I would have been happy if there's any communication at all. It's the silent treatment that is rubbing off on me the wrong way more than any of my gripes with the crashes/freezes/controls. I've been playing alphas/betas all year and modding so I'm so used to CTDs, crashes/freezes, blue/black screens of death. As for the controls I wouldn't be annoyed if they advertised "DAI is coming out on PC, recommended for use with a controller" instead of "made by PC gamers, for PC gamers" so I can make an informed purchasing decision. Heck I would probably still pre-ordered. Instead I feel conned, but even that didn't diminish my faith in Bioware.
The silent treatment however... nah, that's the one thing I find unacceptable.
And now seeing people with FAR worse problems - not being able to play at all, and given the silent treatment... How can I possibly recommend Bioware to my friends and family? How can I possibly purchase DA:I for them during xmas knowing they will go through the same silent treatment? For an old fan such as myself who supported Bioware since BG... it's heartbreaking really.
