English is not my mother tongue so I have to ask please correct me if I'm wrong. PC gets patched on Tuesday and other platforms are missing the update, there is no ETA on consoles, right?

I realize that many of you are looking for clarity on the 1st patch. The goal was Dec. 9. We will be missing that on most platforms.

There are complexities to patching #DAI. Unfortunately this compressed the 1st patch to the point of slipping. There will be more patches.

Before examining the game’s visuals, we feel the need to mention some annoying crashes we experienced with Bioware’s RPG. For unknown reasons, we were getting random crashes to desktop. The game was basically closing itself randomly, and as such there wasn’t any error message to display when those crashes occurred. The only way we could ‘fix’ this issue was by running the game in offline mode. Moreover, we noticed less stuttering during cut-scenes and faster loadings while running the game in offline mode. We are not certain whether the game’s servers are to be blamed for this behaviour or not, however we strongly suggest running it in offline mode (especially if you encounter any CTDs).

I would like to know that also. If they are releasing a PC patch on Tuesday then they should know what the heck they are planning on fixing.

Don't expect better PC controls the 1st patch. The 1st priority will be (and should be) fixing critical bugs and performance issues that render the game unplayble and I'm not sure all of them will be fixed. For a KB&M patch, wait for at least month and a half IMO, if it ever will be patched.

Don't worry, they will patch multiplayer, because that's what we all need.

No. They wanted a Dec. 9 patch. That won't happen is what they're saying because of difficulties in getting the patch up, but reading between the lines they may release a patch on one/two systems earlier.

Fun fact: warrior's common armor always has a battle horn attached and there are 2 skills which actually make Inq to use it. Mages got book instead, but i've never seen them using it.

I think it's about spellbinding. I remember a codex entry about them binding their spells to certain objects like books.

Except they came with answers....aka when the patch would come out...something they very likely didn't know before they announced it..hence them saying the patch would be "soon" recently.

 

If he made that same post, but replaced the 9th with soon, Bioware would be getting crucified right now.

 

I don't think people have realized...but I doubt Bioware has any interest in, nor thinks it's possible to appease the population on this forum. From their history of posting imporant updates elsewhere and generally avoiding touching this place with a 10 foot pole, it seems to be true.
