and so do I, but this what bothered me the most. I can get use to controls, but this constant switch between screens just to see what I have in my inventory and what my char is wearing...madness! 

 

Well UI artists had to justify their wedges... so yeah multiple screens for things that could have went into one clean and practical screen ! We all know that the more the merrier ! ;)

By my own understanding they were shooting for the 9th, now they did say they missed their mark, but it's at least something.

 

Yeah, I just saw that... it also seems to say that they will go ahead with the PC patch.. so maybe we'll get a patch on the 9th?

Patch is coming to PC on tueasday and they confirmed It, consoles are ones that are delayed. Consoles need to wait couse Microsoft/Sony have to validate a patch before they release It. It's probably nothing on Bioware's fault, I am pretty sure that patch is ready to go same day as PC just M and S are need time for their own tests.

maybe they missed their 9th mark because the dev were partying too hard after winning the "GOTY" award

Bioware, now would be a good time to log on, update us with an official statement, and edit the OP so that new readers can get the information they seek - straight off the bat.

There are complexities to patching #DAI. Unfortunately this compressed the 1st patch to the point of slipping. There will be more patches.

 

 

I'm not sure what he means by "this compressed the 1st patch to the point of slippping". Anyone care to elaborate on that ?

Bioware, now would be a good time to log on, update us with an official statement, and edit the OP so that new readers can get the information they seek - straight off the bat.

but that would require work, and they would feel so persecuted if people mistook their information, plus they are on high right now after winning such a big game award, don't want to kill their buzz

Unfortunately...
They drawn so many good icons, made a ton of artwork (just look at that map, it's a work of art on its own!) and then they spread it like butter onto million screens... Ergonomical it ain't.

Sony and Microsoft have to test the patch themselves before releasing It, that is probably one of the points why PC are getting patch on time and the rest is not

 

Funny thing in this thread is that someone writes info on previous page and people that reached next page do not know already what is going on. Its like a endless circle of questions, rants and answers.

 

100+ pages are about asking same thing and answering it over and over again.....

I would prefer a new thread with the date and what will be fixed.
Also if the fix is save game compatible.

Okay, I'm confused.

 

Is there a technical reason why the FPS during cutscenes is locked at 30?

 

I'm still unclear whether or not this is something that can be changed.

 

Has BioWare said anything about it?

I would assume it would be, unless it's an alpha or beta, it's likely to be save game compatible.

This is just to officially state that I don't feel so good about twitter being prioritized as a communication channel.

 

My, my, one could almost suspect that this thread was only created to contain problems. Like so it wouldn't get around.

But of course, that cannot be the case.

We should also admit that this thread is beyond its purpose now, contains all kinds of stuff rather than DAI. Better create a new thread and stay on the topic.

Yeah that is something that can be changed by adding a line to the run script which you can do by right clicking the launch icon in origin. I'm working right now so I don't remember the exact script but it's on the pcgamingwiki . I wouldn't suggest doing full 60 it completely throws everything out of sync. I set mine to 35 which stopped the hitching but doesn't throw it out of sync.

it's all gravy :P I do remember when PC gaming used to mean something, and the consoles have taken over, but then I remember i played my first video game on a console you can't hate too much, market trends suck but they are what they are, im just waiting for the market to trend back toward the pc.

This pisses me off to no end. Is Bioware perfect? No. Have they put some janky cash grabbing things into their games? Yes. 

 

But this is the company that went back and released an extended ending to Mass Effect 3 free of charge because the fans complained. Then they went and gave us Citadel DLC which is pure 100% grade A fanservice. 

 

Bioware does give a damn. Its the fan base thats ruining them at this point. All the anger and abuse they've gotten over the last several years.

 

You want to complain about something being wrong with the game? Fine. There's valid complaints to be made. But cut this crap out. 

This is honestly the greatest post I've seen on here in a long time...way better than anything I've posted. So true. I wish everyone would think of this before making the next "DA:I is XXX pile of ****" thread.
