Are you serious? A dual core CPU and only 2GB of RAM? Your "rig" is waaaaayyyyy under even minimum spec. That's little more than a typewriter you got there. Unfortunately.
Does the x2 not mean he has 4gb of RAM?

Just a note from me that I've experienced almost none of the issues (pre or post patch 2) that many seem to have:
I'm playing on PC with a 360 controller. I was already expecting Bioware would have Mass Effect style controls (no more Origins style) so was prepared to play with a game-pad for a better experience.
I have the newest nvidia drivers and a gtx 780. My processor is quite old to (i7 950) and I have 12gb ram.
I'm playing 1440p resolution and almost all settings on high/ultra.
The only problem was stuttering in cut-scenes but the 60fps tweak fixed that for me.
I have also not experienced a single crash or freeze and I'm 24 hours into the game.
only 2GB of RAM? 800 Mhz 2GB DDR2 x 2 = 4Gb
I think dual core is a main culprit here...
At first, sorry for my bad english.
Does the x2 not mean he has 4gb of RAM?
What he has is a processor with only 2 cores, 2 Gig of actual RAM and a graphics card with only 2Gig of on-board RAM. Nowhere near sufficient.
[edit]
Oops, my bad, 4Gig of total RAM. Still adds very little to a better gaming experience.
Chances are, his OS is 32-bit in which case only 3.2Gig of that 4Gig is usable anyway.
But as mentioned before, the real issue is the CPU.

Some people will never stop b!tching in this thread, you still talk about the same stuff since page one - over and over and over, nothing changed yet and always the same people talk about it. It's like this thread only exists because 4 people can't stop repeating their opinion over and over.
What's wrong with you ?
Are you one of those fan boys who don't tolerate people who have problems with the game ?!
Then you lash out on them when they did nothing wrong to you ?
Be an adult and leave them be.
They're just trying to help/support each other about the game.

Yeah, whatever! You just contributed to keeping this thread alive, so thanks for that.
At least we are bitching about actual problems, unlike you that come here bitching about nothing.
Every mmo out there might disagree with you. I played wow back in the day, holding the RMB to move the camera is kind of natural for me.
So, I had no problems before patch 2 and co. save the occasional stuttering and the lone ctd (but only when I decided to try on DirectX instead of Mantle). I had, and still have, this weird thing with the pause in combat situations where the pause won't hold for the other characters, so I'd pause one, give him a command and then when clicking on another the pause would be gone and combat resumed. Not sure if it's a bug or feature.
Yeah, I don't like the PC UI and tac-cam and all the rest nearly everybody has mentioned before me, but I wanted to play this game so much that I just gritted my teeth and set to it.
Now, after the patch, the stuttering has gone way worse, especially during combat, dialogue will clip in places, freezes have not yet become the norm but are definitely noticeable, CTDs numbers in the five and the the Gameplay menu has lost the slider to change difficulty. Fortunately the GPU seems to be taking it all in stride as the temp never goes above 75C anyway. I'm above the recommended specs.
I understand that I may be lucky compared to others who have their ability to play the game completely ruined but I'd love to be able to relax during these coming holidays by playing the game for hours at a time.
Patch 3 as Christmas present? Please?
Yes, they can implement auto-attack. It's already in the game while in Tac Cam.
Yes, they can implement click-to-move. It's already in the game while in Tac Cam.
Yes, they can allow native mapping to side and scroll-wheel mouse buttons. It's already in the engine, Frostbite3, as BF4 uses it and has these functions natively.
Do they want to implement any of these? That's the question. Were these things part of the design lead's "vision" of DAI combat on pc? That's the question.
I'd be happy for anyone from Bioware to come and refute these claims...
I'm sorry for the noob question, but I'm curious as to what makes this game performs so wildly different with BF4 and NFS Rival that use the same engine?
My rig can maxed out BF4 with steady 60Fps, and NFS rival on all Ultra without any problem whatsoever. But DAI simply butchered my rig, my CPU stuck on 100% utilization all the time regardless of what's on the screen. And I cant even get 15 FPS, at best I got 10 FPS with stuttering and freezing every 5 seconds. Absolutely unplayable.
my spec is as follows:
CPU : Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8 Ghz OC'ed to 3.6 Ghz
Ram : 800 Mhz 2GB DDR2 x 2
GPU : EVGA GTX 650TI with 2GB DDR 5 Ram 1158 Mhz Clockspeed
Yep its your computer you have a dual core, you need a quad core.also not enough ram by a longshot you need 8GB minimum not 4GB,might want to change out your GPU too the 650Ti is a bit long in the tooth for modern games eventually it'll just go boom
I was reading an older PC Gamer interview where the following was reported:
"It's a little bit of both. From a small feature perspective things like control schemes and the way that the narrative or the way that the conversation works and stuff like that, that's where we take a lot of feedback. That's where we're very much, I think people have a clear understanding of what they want and what they don't like."
Based upon the number of people unhappy with the control layout for keyboard, methinks they did not have a clear understanding?

Still hoping to see a control scheme that more closely resembles first two games and an auto-attack.
Will I ever be able to connect to your servers? Possibly before the mankind colonizes the universe?

They definitely do NOT have a clear understanding. Not even close. It is like someone else entirely (not from Bioware) made this mess.
Got home late from work last night and fired-up DA:I to get my dose of abuse.
It hung twice and CTD'd once just trying to start it.
Then, inexplicably, on the fourth try it loaded fine and I got 4 solid hours out of it before it crashed again.

Yeah, I'm joking.

For the go/run toggle, most easy way would be to just double tap and then hold w-key or s-key to run. Must be easy to implement. To hold down another key, say shift-key, sounds not very intuitive. Keep it simple ![]()

That's the perfect way of viewing things. It still doesn't do anyone any favors when people who have subjective complaints about the game say things like BIoware "NEEDS" to change things to accommodate them. That is probably why they don't come in here...to respond to anyone they have to reveal that they think some peoples complaints are subjective opinions, which would infuriate those people to no end if they realized Bioware was "dismissing" their complaints as opinion.
Like for example...click to move and auto attack. Those were things Bioware chose to leave out, not bugs. People in here will still call Bioware the devils children if they ever revealed that they actually like the things so many people in here clearly think are retarded game decisions, which leads to a fairly awkward conversation when one party likes something and the other thinks its either a bug or created by retards.
True we really don't need it to play it. But i think subjectively some people do need it because these controls are so frustrating and literally takes the fun out of it that it I actually have to force myself to play it rather then picking it up for fun. And i think the amount of people that are having these issues goes to say a lot.
If all the features you want are in tac cam, why do you want them in action cam? The cams would ve too similar for their purposes. I use action cam when i dont want autoattack. I use tac cam when i am wanting to give a general command and let them operate on tactics alone there after.
Rather than eliminate action cam in favor of 2 tac cams, I'd rather they improve camera angles and nav mesh for the tac cam and add in nav points or cued actions so i can cue up combos rather than resort to the action cam to fulfill combos. Although, as it is, it plays well and I'm still loving the game . . . Warts and all.
because we should have the option to or not, like the previous games. Also tac cam is horrible and i never want to enter it unless they fix it. Also i liked being in third person going around assigning commands and not having to worry about normal attack, i did it in the previous games.
Actually yes they did.
Both Origins and DAII had the option to be controlled just like Inquisition. WASD for movement and hold down right mouse button to move the camera.
It's just that the previous two games had control schemes that Inquisition decided weren't needed. Click to move and hold down both the mouse buttons to move.
Why Bioware decided that it was a good idea to neuter or remove the other two control schemes is the biggest puzzle. Did all of their testers and all of the development team only use WASD in the previous two games.
