The devs only reply to tweets from people praising their game without reserve. I have tweeted many times and NEVER received a reply. Maybe because I am not female (let's be honest, if I made a female twitter account with a pretty picture, they would fall over their feet replying) or maybe because I am honest about my concerns. They can't seem to handle even constructive criticism...

They can't because they know if they do, and hint at what is actually going on behind the scenes, things will actually get worse then they are now.

Actually, what is sad is you having to chime in and defend poor design and outright contempt by a company who isn't even paying you, to people who you seem not to realize don't care that you liked the game.

And please, for the love of god, stop using your favorite phrase vocal minority.  If you had any sense of awareness you'd see there is yet another first poster to the thread voicing these same concerns just one page previous.

if you go to the tech forums or other gaming you'll see the number of people upset and feeling betrayed by bioware is larger then you think. this is coming someone has without doubt defend bioware in the past. but this is utter crap right now.

Oh, I know.  The AHQ forum is nothing but info gathering right now.  No actual problem solving.  So one would conclude that means they are putting all that info to good use and formulating fixes and tweaks for the next patch.  But somehow I don't have confidence that the patch notes will in any way match up with all the issues I see constantly posted both there, as well as here.

My 360 controller has stopped working since the latest patch. Working fine with every other games. Game detects my controller but nothing happens when I press start or anything.

1 - Unplugged all other USB

2 - Disabled all others HID or controllers in Device Manager

3 - Controller working fine on all other games.

Coudn't bare the game control with kb+m so unfortunately I would have to wait until it's fixed. Sigh.

Yea, I know.  It's cool.

It's obvious his comments were meant to troll the people who actually have a reason to post in this thread.

Can we have an update please Bioware?

We need to know what will be fixed in the next patch and an approximate date so we can plan our games.

This.  At some point EA is not to blame for blatantly ignoring your fans and customers.

Sad state of affairs, eh?  As a "seasoned" consumer, used to customer engagement, I am really frustrated by the complete lack of interaction here.  However I understand.  If I were an executive at EA/Bioware, I'd adopt the same policy of employee silence on boards (even my own) and social media.  The negatives completely outweigh the positives.

I saw the reddit where one of the devs shared "why" they don't participate and empathized with the entire situation.

What I don't agree with, however, is the "selective" use of social media.  Developers, managers, etc. use Twitter and FB to shout joys of success, yet cringe when the masses use the same tool to criticize and express displeasure.  You can't have it both ways, guys...

Well, apparently they think they can, as we are finding out.

What I like is on some of Darrah's past twitter conversations, where a person asks them why pc was ignored, or why they can't walk like in the console version, it's not Darrah who responds, it's some other, random twitter 'groupie' who proceeds to name-call and belittle the first guy for being "rude".

The only thing is that it will win GotY in some cases and is not a delusion at all.

I am not disputing the fact that DAI won the GotY award. I am talking about the delusions of grandeur inherent with the belief that it was deserved.

I'm mainly surprised the console community finds the AI acceptable. Really the UI sucks big hairy monkey balls, but I can work around that I managed Witcher 2 just fine. But that god awfull AI, I started as a mage first (wanted to go knight enchanter, but it took to long as a regular mage hehe). So I figured hey I'll go rogue, sneaking and backstabbing mages is like a hobby for me (and tempest looks awsome)... yeah no the AI is just to shitty. You may aswell give up on your ranged being well... ranged. This game would be perfectly playable, if it didn't have a party concept. I tried again today, but damnit if I wanna babysit I'll go and make some money of it in real life.

I waited 1-1/2 hrs for tech support. Theyre aware of the PC controller issue. They said to wait for a patch.

So, it's looking like I should just wait for this game to hit the "bargin bin"? Which, sounds like, it could be sooner than later....what a shame.

Unless Bioware adds proper mouse support,  this PC game is a failure. As it is, my PC game controller isnt even recognized.

If Im standing in a room and I mouse click the door to exit, my character doesnt budge. He just stands there doing a hack and slash animation. Is this good enough?

How about removing mouse support for your store page for awhile?

No?

Why not?

Customers could still tab around and use windows shortcut combos to purchase. So why not do that? Isnt it good enough?

Why do people keep calling it "The GOTY award", like it's something I voted for?

So, after reading about the state of this game now....I'm thinking it's in my best interests to wait for this game to hit the "bargin bin"?

Sounds like it will be there soon.

What a shame.....this game looked so amazing.

They have many things to fix, and from the way they quickly released a hot fix days after the first major patch, you'd think there was a certain level of competence at Bioware. However, from many reports, people that could play before the patch, now can't. And people that had trouble playing, now can. So clearly there's a problem with their patching process. Something was broken along with whatever was fixed.

They also promised some pc control fixes in the next patch. I don't know if you're a pc gamer, but if I were you I'd at least wait until that releases, and read the patch notes.

Each play session I tend to find new bugs, unfortunately

- the Judith/Wyvern quest won't complete when you talk to her all of the time

- then she offers who something as thanks, but doesn't actually give you anything

- not being able to click on or change party member sometimes

- personal dorian quest (no spoilers) the bar is empty and no cut scene kicks off ... reloading the game fixed it

- not being able to click a side of the battle map, until you select the other side first, then you can go back to the first side

- having my character rubber-band backwards to the point just before a battle ... and do this throughout the battle like she was fixed to one spot by elastic ... and do it every 5 seconds ... until the battle was done. Sooo annoying

And these are just from the last couple of days =D

Ive tried sending tweets to mark asking him if he thinks a certain feature might be included or not in the future. And that I am holding off playing in hopes this said feature will be added.  No response.

All of this complaints show how superficial the developers were in making this game. It also shows that they did not listen to their gaming community and fanbase.

They tried to copy a lot from Skyrim. But if you're gonna borrow ideas from other games, make sure you get the good ones.

I, along with many others, still wait for an ETA  on patch 3.
