There is full PC support. Keep in mind you are talking to someone who plays games primarily on PC. A lack of mouse button keybinds is a negative sure, but as someone who uses actual keys for the majority of my keybinds it wasn't too big of an issue. I've apologized for nothing, I simply refuse to believe that Bioware released the game in this form to deliberately ****** off PC gamers, or as an act of negligence. You yourself just made your own argument void by pointing out that Consoles don't have the ability to adjust zoom. I'm just about done here myself. It's pointless arguing with people who simply refuse to see reason because admitting they were wrong is just too hard. Have to keep the evil EA/Bioware narrative going strong. I'd advise some people to utilize a more careful approach when raising your issues of preference with this game. Exhibiting a superiority complex and coming off as entitled isn't going to get you the changes you are asking for. There's nothing written that says they have to make the game function exactly how you want it to function. So with that in mind, keep the Bioware employee bashing to a minimum if you can. And don't come in here with the tired "I paid 70 bucks I expect what I want" argument. No one is stopping you from getting a full refund.

Let me guess, a troll? A label used to identify someone with an opposing opinion. Hardly justifiable. I already stated in my previous correspondence with you that you are entirely within your right to hold those opinions, but that they are just that - opinions. You made it seem as if it were an established fact. Stop with the persecution complex and actually read what was written.

Dude what is your agenda in this thread anyways?

  • To call people trolls?
  • To tell us we shouldn't give feedback to Bioware regarding what many of us find to be awful PC controls?
  • To give your insightful facts as to how "similar if not identical" KB/M controls in Inquisition are?

Oh please, you seriously claim this game was released unfinished? A 4 year development cycle with 2 delays, one of which was an entire year? Don't be ridiculous. There are games that sell you content piece meal, but this isn't even close to being one of them.

Evidently you don't realize how much work goes into game development, because if you did you would recognize two things:

1. Every game has cut content. Every developer has grande ideas about what they want to include, but deadlines are deadlines. Your argument that Bioware intentionally took things out of this game is considerably weak. Especially given that with the deadline extensions we were able to go from a human only protagonist to 3 additional races, one of which was never available before.

2. Appearance packs which I'm assuming you're referring to take time to develop. An entirely unique outfit for a character will take 2-3 weeks to complete in most cases and thats from conception to completion.

An expansion such as Awakening is essentially a new game. It contains 15-20 hours of new content, if you expect to be able to purchase this at $7.99 on release you are horribly mistaken.

I'm delusional? That's rich coming from the guy with absolutely no insight into how development works and believes Bioware stripped content out of the game only to sell it later.

Once again you're wrong, the multiplayer was developed by an entirely separate team, just as in ME3. They had their own staff and set of resources. You might want to read up on this before claiming to know the ins and outs of this process. Your comments reveal just how little you actually know.

I don't see how the amount of money people are spending in multiplayer is relevant to your point, it adds nothing to your argument. Cash grab is a term often used by those who seek to criminalize profit just for the sake of it. Far be it from a company to seek monetary success. The fact of the matter is the inclusion is mutually beneficial. Whether you like it or not, many people enjoy the multiplayer components. It also provides another revenue stream with which the developer can support ongoing DLC and projects. The micro transactions are optional, no one is forcing you to pay for it you can get the same experience through in game currency. The thread you referenced is evidence of this, as the user who spent hundreds of dollars on multiplayer was not able to get an edge above those who do not.

Whenever you have the evidence that Bioware is nickel and diming consumers with this game, please by all means feel free to revise your post so that we can have some credible example to back your claims.

This apologists are sad, real sad.

Quit feeding him already, troll or not he IS trolling. You can see his provocative and accusatory tone in every post he makes to anyone who isn't blinded by fanboyism.

His response to any logic is: "I disagree, Bioware can do no wrong! Your opinions mean that you are entitled!"

And his defence will always be: "I'm not a troll, I have my opinions, you have a persecution complex!" lol

It's so obvious he wants to provoke your response for attention.

This back and forth isn't helpful to anyone but him. Just ignore him, everyone already knows what he is doing here.

Now, for everyone else still frustrated with the controls, I highly recommend CE with the mods including the walking mod for PC. It makes a world of difference and considering the lack of communication from Bioware it's a better way to spend your christmas then to wait for an official fix that they are apparently struggling with. I've tested them and for the most part are stable, working, and low footprint on performance. It'll definitely make you feel less ripped off as a PC gamer - even if the solution ended up being from the modders.

What Bioware did with this engine is beautiful IMO  B) No wonder I'm gaming on PC, now if we can just get improved mouse/keyboard controls, hopefully by Bioware but yes otherwise I'll also look to modders.

Does anyone here have an Nvidia Shield Tablet? If so, do you like it? I suppose you should PM me since this isn't a game concern. Thanks in advance, Ye Early Adopters.

Is there any news concerning release of a patch allowing to configure buttons of mouse? I tried with the last one but still nothing on this side....

Please BioWare, my mouse get 6 buttons and I want to use them as on ME3. It's really noticeable on multiplayer (I started to play DAI multiplayer since few days)

PC community concerns are mostly about the fact that community concerns don't concern developer team :/

If the connection issues aren't fixed within a month, I'm taking you, your team and your employers to the court. You promised me something, you took my money but you still haven't delivered on that promise. Where is my custom world state? Where are my deluxe edition items? Where is my multiplayer?

(For those of you that have mush inside their skulls instead of a brain, I'm talking about the connection issues that a lot of people are having at the Technical Forum, you know the place where Bioware don't even glance at, and most of those people, including me, have done everything short of human sacrifice in order to connect to Dragon Age servers. No, we have nothing wrong with our networks, ports or systems since Inquisition is the only game in which this issue arises. Yes, firewall is either turned off or proper exceptions are added. And, oh my God, no, I'm not going to reinstall Origin for the millionth time.)

The fact that no one from Bioware even acknowledges this issue shows that you either a ) don't care, or b ) don't even know about it. This is an insult.

You claim that player experience is top priority for you. Well, guess what, I'm unable to experience anything. In fact, I've been unable to experience anything for a whole month.

There's not much point to posting here but I wanted to show support, that these concerns are not just going to disappear on their own.

Game of the Year awards does not make them go away either.

My sentiments right now are, like I said before, I've stopped playing indefinitely until there's some serious patching.

The game mechanics just feel like a chore, and i'm not comfortable with the amount of stress the game puts upon my system (latest hardware) either.

I've been checking up on these same threads every day, and it's just been dead silence.

We waited a month, and we got sonar. Thanks, a feature that ruins exploration and was never needed received a minor improvement. The internet stands up and cheers (no sarcasm, we did actually cheer).

Now for no apparent reason, we even have DLCs, still instead of patches.

Some guy over at EA Answers began a thread claiming all sorts of investigation of performance issues. Guess where that will lead? I think it already got where it was going, if you get my drift. Some people just feel obligated to respond to everyone's issue. "Try THIS.. try THAT". The victims of this strange form of internet forum con even convince themselves that the advice was somehow helpful: "Thanks for convincing me to take all day to re-install Windows.. with no knowledge of my machine, or evidence that it would have any effect. Yay!". Disabling in-game blur = good advice. Defragging your hard drive all day thinking it will stop a major performance issue with a game = bad advice. The internet does not know one from the other, and almost nobody gets actually helped.

If you haven't been able to determine that through my posts at this point, then further explanation wouldn't benefit your understanding at all. Given I've done 0/3 of your neatly organized points above, I'd say you didn't even bother to read them to begin with. Which begs the question, why are you even addressing me?

Honestly, if you're happily playing the game, good for you. It doesn't change the fact that loads of people still can't for one reason or another, does it?

Now, if your brother falls into the latter category...how smug will you feel then?

Wait, there's a walking mod for DAI already?

Edit: All I can find is a mod that let's me zoom out further, I can't find anything about walking. Could you please provide me with a link to that mod?

Edit2: Ok, I finally found it after some more googling: http://forum.bioware...patch-2-hotfix/

Yes, but it's a Cheat Engine mods...

Does not mean anything wrong apart having cheat engine running in background to have it working...

JPR out!

PS : BTW all the explanations about the complexity to have a toggle key for the walking state feels to me like a pile of craphorse : you can walk and run in mount...

To Whom it may concern at Bioware:

I have been having on going and worsening issues, from Launch day, with this game.

I have been in contact with EA Tech Specialists, on numerous occasions trying to resolve these aforementioned issues.

EA Tech Support has been very understanding of my frustration, with this game.

EA Tech Support has been very supportive, in helping me "TRY" to find solutions.

Ea Tech Support has been very informative, and has helped with many suggestions, but they are limited.

EA Tech Support LACKS INFORMATION, and TOOLS to properly test, and troubleshoot, my issues,

(as well as those of thousands of other players). EA Tech Support cannot do their jobs, and are receiving

the brunt of the gaming communities' animosity, resentment, hostility, and abuse.

It is not their fault. Don't let them take the blame for Bioware's shortcomings and mistakes.

Please give the support technicians, the tools and whatever else they need so they can do their jobs.

Stop tying their hands behind their backs, and putting them in the front lines to be berated to death.
