What I do want to know is if they're fixing the gamebreaking quest bugs as well - Dorian's quest bug, The In Hushed Whispers plotstopper bug. Not to be very critical about this, but I miss the debug console Origins and DA2 had. You could just skip to the end without having to watch your game freeze on you.

Ok, so :
This game is way to basic over character gameplay.
- No common skill as to sneaking (there is a certain location, hosting a Bad Ass Creature, who also host some fragment, but as designed, no high end, badass reward there, as even if told © to wait, the other, not sneak enabled NPC will come along..
Also, the way it is designed, where do this effect come, give the npc a posture, allow it to be bound to a key !,
- Options to customize way more the states (hp, mp etc).http://forum.bioware...&f=384&t=521697
- Skills, as said are way to limited, less than 50 for each character, knowing that more than half are upgrade/uplift of others ..
There already, not taking in account DA2 (who has been coded for console and not for PC from start, given it the point mentioned (streamlining over people getting to console, aka "Steam way" (Click "Subscribe" then wine over bugs you can have never met if used the tools the community have produced since then, still, more player, more money but less interesting games.
Then, interface !
less than 10 custom area as to spells ?
As last, have them changed using arrow (3 row would be great, allowing for tailored skills use over specific situations/encounters.
Minimap, a real one, with a rendered of the area, along with options (show where the player has gone already, zoom level etc).
Craft screen :
There to, buttons as to change how item are set (listed)
Option to add property field, given special ingredients and/or magic use (enchanting, using / available after Tranquil are recruited ?)
From these, quite some others adjustment would be needed as to have a suitable RPG over PC.
Otherwise, the game is correct, albeit, no comparison possible with others (the required changes as to match the features of a Elder Scroll.. That said, even to the level of Dragon Age I would be quite better.
PC game are pc game, port, even "optimized" cannot be more than lacking.
(This said, the force of TES game = TESC, the editor being the reason these game have more than 10 years of lifetime, knowing that redesigned UI is among the first "mod (aka user provided)" released since Morrowind (What will be OpenMW, guess well know in some months, along with Wither 3, Pillar of Eternity, Torment Tides of Numerama (what hopes this one hold..), Kingdom Come : Deliveriverance, Graywalker : Pulgatory. All having a common base : crow funded, which allowed them to have free reign over release date (most have taken months (..) over the first date set, if any by now).
Oh, forgot Sui Generis, another one who could be quite interesting, also, all are PC only, made for it (along support for Linux, yes, there to is quite another progress, as if ported to PC from console, the changes required for use over Linux.. Nearly a rewrite of the core setting, script etc, so, yes, have to be taken in consideration soon after strat of production.
To be seen, DAI is so much lacking over final touch, while it will be improved by EA (alone, TES also got the NOP (Non Official Patchs) whi still cannot go toward the level of options (dialogue bug, Bethesda, you left us with a plague there, along with other .exe related caveat..
To be seen.

Dislike 'PC' gamers who just gave up and just use a controller it's like telling Bioware that PC gamers can be bullied and they can do this kind of crap all over again.
I feel childish and spiteful saying this, but I 100% agree with you. If PC gamers don't speak up, EA is going to think that the only market that matters is console gamers, and PC players can make do with their pathetic phoned-in ports with embarrassingly bad control and UI. They will look at sales data and see trends, never bothering to wonder if they created those trends themselves by snubbing their PC audience. Sure they will have less money because of their own stupidity, but we PC gamers will have fewer amazing games to play because the best developers will be ignoring us. I'd rather it not come to that.

Are the controls perfect? Absolutely not. That being said, it's hardly "gamebreaking" or "a disaster". Adapt, and move on. Feedback is good, but keep **** in perspective.
If we don't let up they can do this kind of crap all over agian. Besides it is game breaking, I did not enjoy my second playthrough because the controls sucks.
^^^ exactly
i could rather not adapt to shitty controls that pc gamer usually have to deal with, it like adapting to being pissed on, but if you like that more power to you

the sad thing is that the PC gamer market is larger than the console gamer market, but consoles have their own overloads Microsoft/Sony to boast sales and stuff while the PC is the proverbal cheese that stands along, developer and publisher have market the stuff them selves on the PC
for all the talk about PC master races and console peasants the PC gamer is constantly getting sh*t on
i mean what kind of master race enjoys or allows themselves to constant sh*t on /s

i find it funny that the topic is PC community concerns and there is only one misely, non informative post of we hear your concerns and nothing else
no more posts from the developers or community managers about how they're addressing the concerns or what steps they are taking or even when a patch might be coming, only that we know that a patch is coming; hell it could came next week or next year we don't know.
you think would the developers or community manager would actually engage with the community but nothing, not even in the other topics of other subboards of inquisiton-there is nothing, not even in feedback subboard topic posts
and most of the post in this topic are just from members about whats wrong and what they want fixed
now that the game is out you think there would be more communication from the developer or if they are not available from the CMs
to address feedback and concerns and what they are doing to fix bugs and stuff but no
might as well be commuicating with a brick wall

I've got 638 posts and the game is working fine for me on PC (though I had to disable MSAA and AO - but game stills looks gorgeous).
Not saying that newbies can't be legit.
But seriously how can so many newbies show up with "full-on BSN snark" and so versed on all the issues?
I keep getting visions of 4chans brothers. Must be me.
Well, I've been lurking here since DA:O. I've never felt like I needed to say anything until now (and I've always been afraid of being bullied.) Being able to have my character walk in the game world is really important to me. It's a very small thing that really adds a lot. I h-hope that you think I'm l-legit.
Also, what is this 4chan place? Is it a safe space or will I get bullied?
btw, check out the walk toggle thread. Looks like it needs a bump.

Also, no option to have both mage & templar ?
Given setting -having the templar dissolve the order and joining the Inquisition, it should be possible to undertake at least pursuing the trail over the mage in Redcliffe..
In this game, I first responded to the invitation and met with the people in the Village, but, that quest require to get back to war room (tss, as if, you happen to know that someone is using bad, very mean, totally unbearable mean to control then enslaves, peoples and you have to get back (hundred of miles) home before intervention ?.
...
Ok, my Character is not yet a complete dictator, still, this is a game design really big flaw.
(Knowing that ingame, people & NPC are talking of the difficulty relation relation between the two, so, material for both is at last in part there.
Guess if it happen to be said it is this way because the option was left out as to release the game on time (..), hm.

the only difference between recruiting the mages or templars is who you want first; the gay mage Dorian or the forgettable spirit (
everything else is about the same just- recruit mages fight templars, recruit templars fight mages

Controls are crappy...point and click, steering, auto target all messed up. Top down view shows you tiny characters in the far distance. For awhile I was stuck as I wasn't sure what the heck command had my whole party stuck. Icons are tiny and almost unseeable. I am stuck at the fight with the Pride monster, as I have no way to heal my party. 8 potions don't go a long way. I might back up and use a save...see if there is some way to make the controls more user friendly. Waving my staff around whilst trying to run down a path and turn a corner isn't amusing. TOO MANY cut scenes. The game is playing the game for me. They made that mistake in SWTOR too. If I wanted to be the audience in the third row I would have bought a movie... graphics are nice..(lol) just fix the pc controls Bioware. Shouldn't be that hard. Don't like the dialogue wheel either. But hey...guess I can put up with that. Dragon Age: Origins must have been a one-off..they seem not to want to repeat its greatness.

Though the tac cam is kinda bugged atm it's decent for moving people around out of the way of that pride demon, Cassandra can tank it and make sure you move the others out of the way (far away) and not grouped up because of aoe. If you are running melee kill the addons and let her tank. Also shield wall = win and Cass will use it sometimes, make her build guard as often as you can.
This fight isn't even that hard providing you use your head and think it through, it's all about doing damage to the rift not the demon really. The demon is secondary in my opinion and 8 potions are more then enough, hell you should have a good amount spare.
On another note.. Isn't tac cam supposed to actually list your skills being used on mobs next to their names and not only next to the character using them? I could have sworn that I've seen that on a live vid the devs made before. On my game it only shows basic attack and doesn't show any other skill like it did before in the live vid.

Not that worreid Halo 3 & 4 never did came to PC but borderland 1 & 2 are nice and their controls don't suck. Bungie on the other hand has to make do with sales from XBox only so they don't make as much sales as 2k game.I feel childish and spiteful saying this, but I 100% agree with you. There is nothing wrong with saying I have not got a clue but let me get back to you. Nothing. I have done that more than once.
BUT, and it's a big but, you have to be able to stand up and take the arrows (to the knee!) and accept responsibility.
This game is a massive c0ck up on PC. Yet, the blame is shifted from Bioware to personal computer component manufacturers..... If I were a computer manufacturer, I would ban Bioware from ever owning my equipment. LOL Bad publicity.
How is it a massive **** up? Im sorry but bar the UI (which is debatable on preference), TacCam and mouse controls, everything seems to work fine. Yeah there's a few bug but all in all theres less bugs than any Bethesda game and everyone seems to suck them off for a new Skyrim (which had HORRIBLE controls and UI until after a few patches)
