Well, even if it isn't addressed directly to SP... I guess this is a ray of hope that patch 3 still exist ?
Part of a bigger patch?.... looks hopeful

If you are talking about DragonKnight's User review of Nov 18, I completely agree it smells!
If you read the dissertation, it just bubbles with excitement, enthusiam and praise for the game, calling DA:Origin's tactical game mediocre. "..The removal of the complexity and annoyance of old-school RPG....on and on..."
This review is written by a pro writer. So, why would a pro writer write such a lengthy positive review, dismissing the hard core RPG gamers? Here is the link: Read DragonKnight's review
He's being sarcastic, why he rated it 10/10 after all that, I have no idea.

. Sorry. Again:
.
The review was pure sarcasm and he probably rated for 10/10 because noone would read it if he gave a low rating. Would you care to read a review that gave the almighty unquestionable Inquisition made by the designer gods of bioware a rating of 5/10 or even lower?
I honestly think a lot of people takes that review as a praise of the game
, while in fact it tells you its jus another blockbuster wannabe. I think the guy knows his sh!t
:
"...introducing an exciting button mashing combat mechanics to the game, this game has reached the highest height of RPGs that none in the world could ever reach..." Caricatures the the pro reviews.
I still hold out a bit of hope for another patch, but at this point... what would be the point, honestly.
I moved out of my roommate's place and am staying with some friends, so I can use my sig rig again....
Playing DA:I on that is obviously a better experience than on my laptop, but I still get a lot of performance issues...

For those who experience CTDs and DirectX crushes during gameplay on Radeon vcards, here's something that helped my roommate with his game. (It worked for exact identical crushes in Battlefield 4, as both games utilize same engine)
What you have to do is really just a Bios firmware update for your card. It's super easy and solves a lot of issues with voltage/clocking.
First you would need a GPU-Z program installed.
Once it's installed and running, you need to check a few things here:

You also need to know your vcard brand and model.
Next you'll have to go here and here

Please keep in mind that you need a correct model, otherwise you will end up with wrong bios. Here is my example. I have Sapphire R9 280x Vapor-X edition with 3GB GDDR5. My card is not Toxic edition nor Tri-X.
Generally the newer version of firmware the better.

Your Memory model is UBER IMPORTANT! There are 2 for my card(yours may/will be different): Hynix and Elpida. Flashing wrong one will get your card bricked.
Next is flashing which is very easy and that's why it so easy to brick your card:

You can save your bios here as well.
Hit load image button and navigate to the folder you've saved your freshly downloaded firmware. Hit "Program".
And that's that. You'll have to reboot your PC upon completion and then check if that hustle was even worth your while.
It worked for my roommate, but still very experimental.
Good luck!

The irony is that as vocal as I am on this forum, I actually started posting on this forum to defend the game with an 8/10 expecting the PC version to be patched promptly. I actually shook my head at what I considered "troll reviews" on metacritic. However instead I realised Bioware gave its PC fans the finger, ignoring the community, and I am appalled by how much this has changed since DAO - when Bioware actually contributed to active discussions, not to mention two months and still no walk button. Movement speed control is just as important as movement direction control Bioware!
Now the irony is - I actually began to understand why DAI got such low user metacritic reviews.
I joined this forum in 2012 but I never posted, had no real reason to. ME3 ending I found disappointing but when 95% of the game was top notch, it was hard for me to say it sucks, and the ending was fixed regardless (for me anyway). But in DAI, the whole console port just screws up the whole experience when I can see beneath all this BS is a story worth experiencing.
It's the little things that make the big difference, just like marriage. In DAI, too many little things gone wrong with this port. Thanks to the writers/actors/artists however I will still buy the next Bioware game, but I just won't preorder and will wait on PC user reviews. Despite all the troll posts, I can't deny that now my whole experience with DAI is reflected in the metacritic scores - vanilla that is - 6/10. With the walking mod which changes the whole experience (like I said - little things make a big difference), it's 7/10. With all my other disappointments 8/10 is the highest I can rate it, and will wait for possible improvements to tac cam/AI tactics.
But not holding my breath.

Strange, I'm running AMD and it's crash-free with Radeon 6870, an old card.
How this game got game of the year for 2014 when its 2015 now, still barely playable and doesn't live up to its own promises:
Combat on PC is a joke and the whole open world concept means something completely different in EA speak: areas connected by corridors. Selling "valuables" as the game encourages you just ensures you will get screwed out of completing many quests, and the trolls say "buy it back" knowing full well the merchants forget everything the minute you leave the area AND that they only offer to sell back armor and weapons!!!... NPCs that disappear and reappear on a whim... Game breaking bugs... constant crashes...
TLDR pretty, sloppy, typical EA trash. Will never buy another EA game until 6 months after release and then, only if they have actually patched it. Life is too short not to spend my free time with high quality entertainment.
Today's challenge! Try and find out your Inquisition points! Have I got extra potions? Or Unlocking? Who the f*** knows?
You can't see it unless you have one to spend. And don't click on anything! It's a one way street. No cancel or undo.
And what is "ConceptMenuAlt"??
/shakes head in disbelief.
I will have to stop or I will become a soggy mess!

I know, right? I'm constantly wondering if they understand open world as I hit rock barrier after rock barrier and have to run the long way round over and over. I've taken to clicking on God mode and jumping off cliffs where I can. lol!
A LOT of you are chasing a ghost, in regards to figuring out fixes right NOW for PC systems and their respective video cards. This is a console port. It has even been limited further to support the older PS3 and the Xbox360 platforms. Why do screaming PC systems have problems, yet older systems run okay? Why did Booware have a 30fps rate for cutscenes? It's been inherently limited to support legacy consoles from the start in order to sell more games. Think upon THAT.
Well I've been twittering them...both @BioMarkDarrah.& @Mike_Laidlaw........ NO responses. Not surprised. Still disappointed.
Hey guys! Discontinued playing the game about a week after launch due to how terrible it was on PC. Just stopped by to check on how much it's improved. Disappointing to see it hasn't. I'll check back in another few months. Off to play games by non-bad studios!
Booware REALLY F'ed up in underestimating the backlash from us PC-gamers. They're hiding....and scared. It's too obvious.

^^^ Thank you for that. I just slammed him on Twitter for that. No idea if he responds, but it's nice to slam the idiots that are responsible for this travesty. I welcome all malcontents to do this. Spread the word. If you're dissatisfied with this game, let ANYONE know. I for one, will NOT put up with this $hit any longer!---->
He's being sarcastic, why he rated it 10/10 after all that, I have no idea.
Here is one...maybe he really thinks like that.....
^^^ Nope. Impossible. Read the review. Again if you need to. Rinse and repeat if you're not fully picking up on the sarcasm. That reviewer did NOT mean for it to be representative of a 10 score. He/she meant that score for effect and it's loud and clear to many people.....I guess not you? Well, that's fine if you're a blind apologist. The world needs some of those I guess, like ditch diggers...
My apologies IF you're sincerely being obtuse about the whole situation, which would be weird.... Maybe you haven't read the review? Oh, it's your contention that the person's review is spot on, without any semblance of error(s). Okay... maybe you're a troll.....dammit, you had me going. Fawk.
WARNING:

I honestly don't think it's worth taking a risk in flashing your card for one game, unless it's absolutely unplayable for you and you're desperate.
But that's just me.
^^^ Phentos - It's ALL about the game. If you haven't gathered that, then what can I tell you? Some people are trying different methods (i.e. troubleshooting)...it's normal, our bizarre behavior...it's normal. NO word on Patch 3?
FYI, just another guy to query, if you have the time and vitriol. @ConalPierse on Twitter. We'll get to them all I think if they ignore us long enough.
There's also @AarynFlynn - the "GM for Bioware's Edmonton & Montreal studios" - according to his Twitter bio. Give him $hit too. If he's culpable in this. Roast em' all---> - .

Not sure if serious.
You implying that I don't know what troubleshooting is? I've spent more time than I've actually played trying to troubleshoot this bloody game. Starting on launch day with getting SLI to work on my laptop.
@Cameron_Lee is another dipsh!t that I'll go after. Let's talk to them. They can't hide from all of us forever on every social media site.
