@Phentos - I'm not implying anything. I'm sure that you know how to do a lot of great things. You can do anything that you put your mind to do. Can you fix a horribly broken PC game?

I'm going to get to the bottom of this and this isn't a socially-acceptable joke about two male characters romancing eachother in the poop hole. I'm seriously going to figure this out. Where the game went wrong.----> - .

Fixing a horribly broken PC game is not my problem, it's Bioware's. All I can do is troubleshoot.

^^^ Phentos, I believe you. I used to spend that much money on laptops....every TWO-FOUR years. Yikes. If it's SLI-capable...I guess. I was thinking more along the lines of two physical cards/gpu's, rather than discreet laptop verbage.

The laptop was only a thousand dollars when I bought it. It has 2 physical cards inside. In fact there isn't enough room for an optical drive (meh) because of the second card...

Well, good for you. I've been upgrading PC rigs and not laptops, and looking for cooling solutions and so on...so maybe you're right and your laptop has "2 physical cards inside". Great. It still doesn't have the capabilities of a standard desktop GPU.

Trust me. You want "more bang for your buck"? Just Have a PC Tower and swap out motherboards/CPU's and graphics cards, and install OS'es...Consoles don't have keyboards They're dummy terminals. Less options/choices is what we got when we purchased Dragon Age:Inconceivable

Phentos - Sure, you want to travel. Fly on those gossamer wings with your precious (dos SLI carded) laptop....but that thing is hard to fix and/or upgrade. I think my initial point was that it'd be hard to get SLI working with this game and even harder with a laptop. That was what I was thinking... So again, good luck to you, if you can get this game to work with SLI on a laptop.

I honestly don't think it's worth taking a risk in flashing your card for one game, unless it's absolutely unplayable for you and you're desperate.
But that's just me.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with flashing your card, it won't damage it in anyway possible. In fact vCard bioses are just collection of clocks/voltage data. The only risking you take is when you're not trying to be smart and flash a wrong one.
And that's not just me, but the entire overclockers community.

Are you really that dense?
The game works on my laptop. It runs the game decently enough on high settings.
The problems lie in the game itself because I get similar problems with stability on the desktop system listed in my sig.
W/e, I'm out. See ya.

I never said it was "wrong". Just coming from a bad personal experience. (trying to flash a 6950 into a 6970 years ago)
Like I said in that post, it's just me.

WHat?!?!? How dare you talk for the very prestigious Over Clockers community! We're a very misrepresented association....obviously.

Well there you have it, Mentos. You're the fresh maker. Seriously calling me dense? It's hurtful only because I'm really thick and I don't comprehend things quickly enough. Isn't it? Who said that?

I just want it to be said that I'm "pro" PC gamer that's trying to play this game AND that has found flaws. There is a distinction. Bioware apologists need not apply.

I'd rather this game be fixed. The Moderators can blast me to oblivion. Still I will find a way to be heard, if I'm so inclined. There is potential in this F'ed up game, but hopefully we'll be able to realize it.
As for me? I'm not even "me" here....I have some hubris, it sort of leaks out of Dorian's anus, like a fine wine, butt I'm really trying to put my finger in it, and people are upset...heck, I'm about to get my third warning point.

Still not fixed then? Oh well I'll check back in a few months. A pity, I was so looking forward to this game.

I was just trying to pretend that I was gay in order to curry favor with Bioware and their Moderators. That alone should tell you that they were into it. Sick bastages, the two of em'. 01 and 02. They only like the same, and not the opposite. I feel like Sten, trapped inside of a blogosphere. Uh huh.

Posté 10 janvier 2015 - 01:08
Well I have a lot of warning pints...burp, I mean points. That's fine. The Moderators are brain damaged, but they mean well. I saw Moderator02 beating a harp seal to death with just his high heels. That's tricky stuff on the ice.

And what is "ConceptMenuAlt"??
Yeah, that used to be "ctrl" (to see the codex). Been "ConceptMenuAlt" since patch 2, though.

Well....whatever the latest scheme is, it's not right. It's not intuitive and it just feels wrong. Ask anyone...even console gamers will tell you (once they stop drooling and farting uncontrollably) that the PC controls are broken. It's hard to get around.
