Fair point. But you never know, someone might have modded it to make it well, enjoyable?

the issues i'm furious about look like core-thingy, so i kind of lost my hope after patch 2 and long weeks of nothingness, broke just before xmass and decided to give DAI another chance. it went well, kind of... when i tuned my mind properly with the right mantra 'this is not a game, it's a story, play it like an interactive movie, it's not a rpg, lower your expectations'

Yep. They don't want to release a buggy game that doesn't meet player expectations...

You know what guys? Programming major patches takes time. Two or three months for a major patch isn't at all unreasonable. And this wait had holidays in the middle of it to inflate that time.

But inside of a week, this thread was filled with nothing but abuse and vitriol toward the Devs. You, as a group, have no patience.

I heard some of you blame it on the Devs' silence. If they were still working on it, what exactly would you want them to say? That they are still working on it? It didn't appease you the first few times, why would it appease you now?

How you ask for something has an impact on the response you get. This thread is disgusting. Enough people like the PC controls that, were I a Bioware dev, I'd be content to let you all rot in this thread and work on something else.

You should all be ashamed of your behavior. Not that I expect any of you to pull your heads out of your own butts long enough to realize that.

Awwwww, boo-hoo!

At the end of the day, it is Bioware who needs to hold on to their fans, or lose them. Apparently they don't really care.

We have received NOTHING specific about Patch 3, not update, no list of things that are actually going to be fixed. No apology for lying to us.

I'm not even going to repeat myself about the lies we were sold in the first place....

If we were sold an honest game to begin with, none of this would happen.

Have you even noticed how the devs are treating fans all over the internet??? Blocking people on facebook when they voice concerns, dismissive responses on twitter, etc etc.

But you go ahead and be disgusted with us while we are disgusted with Bioware....and try to remember WHO the customer is in this relationship, yeah?

Why should we say nice things or wait patiently for fixes that probably won't come regarding a game that's practically in a beta state. One that has had its u.i, tac mode, and controls completely designed for consoles and not PC? Pc platform didn't even ship with a walk toggle LOL.

You don't get to release a bogus product that basically was false advertised in multiple ways and then expect no backlash. This game made by pc gamers, for pc gamers? Not a chance in hell. Or all those CHOICES we were going to make regarding inquisition stuff that was supposedly going to affect things but doesn't exist in the game?

You can't do something villainous like this and eat your cake as well like everything is normal. That's bs and I CALL BS on it. Also the outcry is real here, because a majority of people didn't expect it to be this bad. All the laden remarks regarding the problems and feedback are not because nobody cares, its the opposite of that. They need to get it together over there are bioware and being nice to them as they destroy an entire franchise (not that they didn't already do it with DA:2) isn't going to get them anywhere anytime soon.

This game could be good if the tactical camera functioned like the one in origins (on pc) and they gave us more options regarding the u.i and its scale-size, then I could definitely look past some other issues this game has and maybe have some fun with it but unfortunately I haven't played my single player character that is level 11 since NOVEMBER because the tac cam is a DAMNED JOKE.

Sadly I don't think they are going to do either of those things. "artistic integrity" and all that bs. You understand. But that's all okay, let me sit here nicely twiddling my thumbs while they take my money and laugh at how dumb I was for buying this garbage. According to you that's what I should be doing, so thanks for the heads up.

honestly I had no trust in bioware for dai after they jacked everyone wiith ME3 and we all saw this coming with DA2, I was just interested in the " my past choices matter"  sale they had, but I kissed that goodbye when they brought Liliana back to life in my story with some funky ass ME3 bullshit maker saved her crap.

I've put data out to my consumers, and they are unhappy about it and complaining loads. And I have to keep them updated with my progress toward fixing/reananlysing it, and explain if anything they don't like will have to stay.

With you as my boss, I can ignore them until I'm finished the corrections/non-corrections. Or not. Awesome. Can you be my boss?

Should have got a refund folks. 24 hours is very short a window, but note that Steam is even worse - no refunds.

Next time just get refunds immediately as otherwise you'll be given the silent treatment if you decide to wait for patches.

they didn't work on it. they had holidays :)

i'm not satisfied with reassurance, i want certainty. certainty that problems many people face (from serious technical bugs that makes game virtually unplayable to usability issues - ui/controls/stuff) are acknowledged and solutions are being discovered. information provided so far is vague at best.

i know what you mean tho, despite the coarse language. please don't put more gasoline into the fire, it doesn't end well.

The problem with that is you have to play the game long enough to notice the problems and then it is too late to get a refund. Which is also of course what Bioware is counting on...

indeed. If their refund guarantee was 48 hours instead of 24, I wouldn't be on these forums making these posts lol.

What, polygon you say?

http://www.polygon.c...laystation-4-pc

"Dragon Age: Inquisition is one of the biggest games I've ever played..."

So the reviewer did not play any Elder Scrolls?

"...and I still want more"

Why stop at 100 shards if you can have 200? Agree.

"Inquisition's plot is more engrossing and more world-changing than anything from the first two games"

Completely changes the slideshow you get as ending, no argument there.

"PlayStation problems"

There is a section for PS problems and reviewer claims he played on pc too. Not a single word what is up with the pc version. Was the Pc version really reviewed? I dont think so.

Stop giving credit to people reviewing the plot of a game and giving the game 9.5/10. Every single review points out how big the zones are yet nothing of the content of them. One of the reviews i read says next mass effect should have meaningful sidequests like Inquisition has.lol. Good job.

Edit: Just remember what "made for PC gamers by PC gamers" means if it comes from Bioware when you think of preordering mass effect 4 on PC.

Most professional reviewers are either on pocket or are plain shallow.

Even Angry Joe on Review of Dragon Age (which is done with a controller), gives 8 to PC if i remember well, and just say 1 or 2 words about KBAM.

Look, i didnt found any "pro" reviewer highlighting how poor the PC controls are, then i really think they just used controllers, which is out of sense in a computer review. Also, few mention how bad and broken the mechanics are.

Since its a multi plataform game, you can clearly see the majority of reviews is done on PS4 and people just play or mere install for PC and copy their findings for Ps4. This is how multi plataform games are being reviewed today.

Yes, I was thinking the same.

Look how quickly even Ubisoft got their act together - even an official apology from the MD and a free Story DLC.

But what do Bioware do? They go on vacation, of course. Their disregard for their fans WILL fire back on them. Guaranteed.

My faith in Bioware is now non-existent, so I will not even be surprised if they don't release another patch. Neither will I care. They have exceeded their window of goodwill.

Stop talking about Bioware; this company doesnt exist anymore. Bioware is a trademark of EA. All games developed under this trademark are developed by EA, following their procedures and commercial practices.

With so much dissent for this game from players a patch would be somewhat pointless and somewhat late to save it. These issues along with many many more should have been addressed within 72hrs of release and realisation.

Financially the game is a sound success, and is critically acclaimed, gaining GOTY, if that matter anymore.

A hell lot of console players like the way it is. A lot was sold to PC. Even if half PC players complaint, they dont care very much, its okay, sales are going strong.

Are you clueless?

What 'first few times'?

There's been no first few times. The first patch came out on Dec 9th without warning. The blog entry for it showed up the night before. Conal Peirse made some organizational posts as they scrambled to get the hotfix out. Then when everyone realized barely anything was fixed, pc users patiently started asking questions about the next patch. And that was over a month ago.

They have said absolutely nothing in here since that point.

And you're here complaining about the customers attitudes? Really?

You can say Rome 2 was really pushed and rushed, and while CA took a year to fix the game, making it playable, they were interacting with the community, even when there was like 24/7 flaming.

Here on "maxis" forums when simcity was launched, like here on "bioware" the state is absolute lack of response, like who cares.

Simcity was somewhat fixed, but its an incredible flawed engine. I think the trend will be the same.

While EA could somewhat better interface or controls, the mechanics itself are flawed, as the crappy story.

The last "Bioware" post in this thread was over a month ago. Conal Pierse hasn't even made a post in *any* thread since December 16th. Bryan Johnson hasn't posted since since December 10th. Allan Schumacher has been pretty active elsewhere, but has avoided this thread since November 26th. Mark Darrah, the creator of this thread hasn't been seen since November 27th.

What does that mean? Draw your own conclusions.

*We* didn't make them release an unfinished product that takes three months of patching before it works. If EA decides to send everyone on holiday when bugs are most likely to be discovered then, again, it's not my fault that EA has singularly bad judgement (stuff always goes wrong when you launch a new game, so you want people on hand to fix it).

Would you have the patience if you bought a burger today, got a frozen patty and were told to come back in three months time because properly cooking the food takes time? Of course not.

So why is it so wrong to demand that a $50 product which so happens to be a video game works when you pay for it, instead of having to hope that it might get fixed at some point?

Besides bugs, broken mechanics will not be fixed because this would mean changing the game and putting effort, plus money, and if there is only one thing EA loves above all is this: money, money money. They are receiveing it, so they dont really think its fair to spend money to fix this game.
