Honestly, there are many, many more items to list. If you search in the Feedback forum for a Community bug list thread, there are quite a few thorough groups of lists. I also belive you will see quite a fe posts after this detailing other issues I may have missed.
 

 

 

Yes, I've read through quite a few over the past several weeks while I was trying to find work arounds or anyone with a good remapping scheme or maybe even a mod since modding has started. 

 

 

If you were to recieve links to all the posts here in which issues were listed, you'd be digging through 400 + pages for the next month.

Don't know what your reasons for this are, but here's hoping it does some good.

 

 

My reasons for writing the article are two fold: To warn people who haven't bought the game yet about the PC issues, and to hopefully, maybe get Bioware's attention because it's further out on the web. I just thought other people who were also having issues with it might like their specific issues heard alongside it. The more voices there are, the louder they collectively are.

 

Just thought I'd offer. I'm no IGN but I do get a few hits a month on the site so it might do a bit of good. I can just link to the thread itself if nobody wants to specifically be quoted. No biggie

The day patch 1.1 came out (Which ended up breaking more things than it fixed) the Biotrash fanboys swarmed the forums to sing their praises, because now when you press V the sonar in the bottom left (or right, or wherever the hell it is) pings for an extra 2 seconds than previously. Someone, probably not even a dev, maybe it was a janitor or something, changed a value to increase it by 2 and the fanboys jizzed themselves at the inexorable proof of such a glorious company.

Whether they are successful at doing so is anybody's guess, however.

Edit to add:  All my complaining revolves around integrity, deception, and marketing.  The controls are atrocious, but I switched to a controller before I just quit playing over head-in-the-sand angst.

At least you got warnings, some communication, and it was temporary.

 

I was perma-banned from the old DA2 forum for using the word "sheeple" apparently.

 

I say apparently because I got ... no warning, no reason, no communication, no appeal, no nuthin' except banned.

 

I was so PO'd at that point, and had already uninstalled the game, that I didn't come back until after purchasing DA:I.

Hi serenai! Finished my 2nd playthrough a few days ago so I thought I'd poke my head in and see how the BSN's doin'...

I've been patiently following this topic, mostly waiting for a nice Bioware person to show up with a "Hey, we hear you and we're working on it", or any news about patch 3 with the promised PC UI fixes.. the game is very hard for me to get into with the controls working against me most of the time. I play to fight demons, not my keyboard and mouse.

 

I'm writing an article on this. I have my own thoughts about the PC controls but I'd also like to include those of you who would like your voice to go a little further than the forum. If you'd like to contribute, please quote this post and list your concerns (as long as it's civil please don't go full ragequit on me - most of my articles are geared toward constructive criticism and not just bashing).

 

If you've outlined your concerns previously in this thread, you can just post a link to your prior post (upper right of your post has a post number, right click > Copy Link Address > paste it into a reply here) and specifically state that it's ok that I quote you.

Peregrinus - Do you play this game with a mouse and keyboard OR a controller?  Also, on what platform, if you'll be so bold.

I play both DAI and DAO on my laptop. I gave up using keyboard/mouse early on because it was an exercise in frustration. The controller usage is okay but it's generally not how I like to play PC games especially ones that are supposedly made for PC gamers which I assume would indicate that controls are optimized for keyboard/mouse combo.  DAO controls much better on PC and I had forgotten how much the camera zoomed out in tactical mode. It is very pleasant in comparison to DAI pseudo tac mode.

I finished the game once. Had to kill the boss five times before the cutscenes stopped crashing.I'm overspeced and not eager to start another playthrough (played Origins at least eight times). Too bad really, it's a decent game.
