I hope you wiped before pulling that out. For every six nvidia users there are four AMD users.

A more likely reason is that the Frostbite 3 engine is (for better or worse) designed and optimized for AMD GPUs and many AMD users opt-in to use Mantle, a far more advanced and stable graphics API than the certainly buggy and sometimes unreliable DX11.

And it's "fewer complaints" not "less complaints".

Thanks for the correction. English is not my first language, so I appreciate the feedback.

The Steam Hardware Survey is currently bugged, so I can't check, but 4 to 6 is a significant difference.

I agree that Mantle is quite stable in this game. I've had one crash that specifically mentioned Mantle in the error message, but since I've clocked nearly 200 hours, that's not so bad.

What're you talking about ?

Bioware already released a free DLC for MP for every platform.

https://store.xbox.c...47-b271a1d759a8

And they already planned to release more :

http://www.forbes.co...rotransactions/

How very interesting that they have the time and resources for this instead of waiting and use ALL available resources to fix the game to an acceptable level for many of us PC players.

Oh, well,..my mom used to say, ".. with you, I need the patience of a saint.". I guess that's what I need to cultivate with Bio.

they can do what they liike to Mp, these SP MP hybrids have a tendency to live fast die young anyway, 8 months after ME3 mp was released nobody played it. Its a gimick to generate cash frome those who spend $400 dollars on VR chests :)

I just wanted to make sure it is understood there are many more disatisfied than those posting here. "fix, suck, patch, bad" are not good words to appear as they do in this Google search. Feel free to try it yourselves. The first step in solving a problem is realizing there is a problem. See ya in a month.

I don't know about your mom, but if I had lied to my mom about something and then charged her $60 for it ...

Huge Game Breaking Mechanic Bug

Bleed is not working when it should apply a damage over time effect, instead nothing shows.

There is no bleed effect for bleed on being hit or a chance of causing the enemy to bleed if you have bleed % chance on your weapon.

All talents that cause the enemy to bleed also do not work properly because Bleed never sets off.

I don't think it would be difficult to create a Bleed object in C++ that works exactly like weapon poison but you just make it a different object and change the text from green to red. Poison damage over time DOES work, so why not make bleed work just like poison but separate from poison and change the text from green to red?

That's my proposed solution.

Also there is no Key Drop in Multiplayer games about 10-15% of the time.

Your post implies that there's somebody at the other end who gives a ****. Bioware have now proven the game has been released, people have spent money and those of us left who aren't satisfied are of no consequence. The effort required at this point bears little relevance, they do not give two shits. All development is focused on DLC because that means even more money ready to be extracted from those happy with the "finished product".

Firkraag (wasn't it red, though?)! best dragon battle in a video game for a long time (and BG2 wad actually my first PC game ever).  Felt in love with the game, Pc gaming and BW, lost my tan, didn't finish my 'thesis' till next semester.  aaaaahh good times!!

Omg, i remember this battle so well : The badass red dragon was killed with one single hit from my character's Silver Sword ! It made me laugh so much !

After about fifteen years, it's still a very clear memory for me... And curiously, i doubt that i'll remember anything about DAI in another fifteen years. I really wonder why.

Second character: a monk with Shivering Palm.  Lucky I know, but EPIC.

I am starting to lean towards this conclusion also sadly.

Sorry that I came hard down on you, I didn't know English wasn't your first language, a poor assumption on my part.

Anyway, we'll see how things shape up after patch 3.

nope. not only that.

if they plan to do MMO, they should invest time in combat developement. this thing sucks and it's not tested. 1: if it's another wow clone, it won't be very successful, free to play won't help (dumbing down mechanics doesn't help in the long run - you get your kiddo sales for 4-5 months after release, but you offend hardcore nerds really invested in the game, willing to subscribe for life) 2: skyrim online is just terrible

another thing... MMO is listening to the community. this thread makes me believe they are not ready to do that :3

I think DAI was intended to be a MMO. But EA saw the collapse that ESO is and is still  burning from SWTOR that they changed their minds.

The way the game is designed to waste time, even real time, I just can't believe it was intentionally designed for single player. The only other game I know of that forces you to wait real time to accomplish something (beside raid lockouts) is Eve (the space MMO - great game, by the way). Eve's training system takes time. But it's been designed like that since the beginning.

The AAA gaming industry is like Hollywood; they clone everything. The real innovation is going on in the indie market (Kickstarter, Greenlight, etc, etc).

I completely agree with this assessment. Many others have voiced the opinion regarding them switching gears in midstream turning development of DA:I to single player when it was originally designed for a broader spectrum. I think it was originally designed to be a "bridge" game between platforms (console/PC/etc.) but was primarily developed for consoles, and then with the current trends they shifted to single player realizing it wasn't going to sell only as a multi-platform bridge with a story.

There's many good things about DA:I - and I almost wish they'd taken the chance in the initial direction they were headed. But the problems with the interface being "half finished" on PC's versus consoles, among various other technical issues (video compatibility, processor cores, etc.) really tend to outshine its benefits, IMO.

You know, to a certain extent, I think this is true- however as I've told people before- if you think "money makes the world go around", simply imagine what would happen if you removed all the people from the world. Would "money" still make it go around?

Thanks for giving pc-gamers a broken game. The controls are just annoying, making the game a chore to play.

Well, shame on me for buying on release day thanks to the gaming press treating it like the 2nd coming of the lord, and gave it Game of the Year shortly after. Meanwhile PC gamers clicked futile within the game, and through inventory submenus for hours wondering how it was possible to make an RPG-game where it is any worse to play, craft and manage ones inventory.

Played about 20 hrs right after launch, stopped and waiting for patch 3. No updates for ages. And to rub it in the game is getting cheaper as I'm waiting. What excellent value for money launch day trust and support turned out to be. Never on launch day again, Bioware. Shame on you.

This review is rare because of it's honesty. A good read:

No...  money would be irrelevant.  As would everything else we'd leave behind.  Earth would reclaim and recycle it and probably be better off.

Damn, I'm pedantic. ;)

Beside the table war missions the design of the game (quest wise) is closer to Ubisoft mechanic.

See this post for more details : http://www.neogaf.co...6#post147123416

I'm just saying that style of questing has been already implement in SP game and gamers (who may never played an rpg?) were really happy to have "content" to do.

Well, I've also heard theories regarding the game feeling "rushed" because of all the generic "fetch quests" etc, which could also be reality. The game was, after all, consistently pushed back- so if EA had told Bioware to hurry up and push it out the door- they may have had to throw a bunch of simple filler content in to get it out the door (in time for Xmas sales, perhaps). Unfortunately, since there's no real communication from EA (or) Bioware, we can only speculate to their intent.

It's been like that for ages, publisher-based games are not known to take risks even with grand ideas for gaming. They just want to make money, not to entertain.

Mount and Blade was the first indie I supported, and I'm very, VERY proud of them. Probably have 1000+ hours on that game alone. A great indie on the way is also Planet Explorers, minecraft with great graphics + custom vehicles. To have a look at what you can make in PE:

Great for creative gamers/modders like me. Now just waiting for them to upgrade to Unity 5.

AMD has a much smaller market share, which is probably why there are less complaints from AMD users.

I have an AMD card. I'm not getting the kinds of graphics glitches and vidcard-related crashing Nvidia users do. All of my crashes, thus far, have been game engine/Origin app related.

I do not use Mantle.

DAI was officially stated to have started its life as an MMORPG, I posted a topic with the interview.

But the reasons you presented are worthy of commenting: I think you nailed it.
