Even if every single reply on here was a unique user it would still amount to a tiny minority of the install base though and it seems to be fairly concentrated on just BSN on top of that. Now, I'm not saying the game doesn't have problems mind you, just that this thread jumped the shark ages ago as far as being anything constructive about those problems. So pointing to its length as evidence of anything doesn't say much anymore.

Anything constructive gets drowned out by the hyperbole and things like the near religious crusade to get male elf arms fixed... >.>

Uh is that all? That looks like some hotfix a dev team of any mmo or any real pc game could whip up in three days, not in a friggin' month, holidays or not... You aware, that many people, like me, can't enjoy the game because of how bad the controls, the UI and the tac cam are (and those things are VERY important in this game)? It's basically gathering dust now because i haven't touched it since the release (also those 30 fps animations are giving me headaches, it's awful, why it's not fixed?)

No it's not and you know it (patch 3 and months after the release it's still not fixed, even ubisoft is better at it and we all know they suck at their job), if it was, you wouldn't have released the game in this sorry a$$ state.

Yeah I hope Conal sticks around, I only get really pissed if there's no communication.

 

There still exists many problems, particularly the lack of mouse look toggle / mouse rebinding is still plaguing me when playing melee classes. I would like to know if this is something they are working on, and if they are not, to come here and discuss why these features are important, and how to implement it ingame - dev/player communication would help alot in implementation.

 

Not just announcements.

 

EDIT: Add that to the tactical camera view/angle/zoom/functionality as well as the 8 slot limit. You know, I can live without AI tactics if queue actions is available in tac cam.

Speaking of HOLD... no mention was made if the Hold command will be fixed.

I don't think hold command is bugged, seems to be working as intended from all the testing I've done, even if it's not working as most folks want it to.

I made a grave marker for Paul. Not too far from the house. Not super safe. And not close enough to remind me us constantly. It's the least I could do - any - of us could do. I can't forget it. I won't forget it.

 

Spring is almost here and the warmth has bought our group some civility. It's still dangerous encountering others. We try to stay out of their way. It's safer. I'm thinking about what to do now. Which is an odd thought. I haven't had the chance for a very long time. We need to establish a sustainable food source. I've brought it up with the others many times. Not one of us can farm though some can hunt. I had a garden once. I think that'll help.

It's not just here. And while many posts are hyperbole, there is an emotion and a need behind that person's words that needs to be heard. Just because someone expresses themselves a certain way is no reason to dismiss their concerns, no matter what it is - the UI, the elf arms, whatever. One just needs to learn to read between the !!11!'s.

 

Just go to metacritic and read the user reviews. Link   Seriously. They outnumber the people here probably 20 to 1 and there are a LOT of PC UI complaints. Made me depressed reading them but I was doing research so I kept chugging along. People who have never written a review before are making an account over there just to give the game a 5 or less, and many are giving it a complete 0. Many upset people, I'm afraid.   (Yes, quite a few of those reviews are not for PC reasons. But a lot are. Even after reading through this topic, I was surprised at how many there were over there.)

 

If you're avoiding spoilers (Brogan!) don't read them, there are many.

It is on my end. Was fighting the Fereldan Frostback tonight, usually when he perches up top and launches fireballs I go just under him or hide around the corner by the docks. None of them would hold position, they would keep trying to run through burning ground, I swear I had to use tac cam 25 times in less than 2 minutes to individually move each idiot back into cover.....

Here's some advice: Fire your dev team working on patches and replace with community modders, will be much faster and more efficient. They will also know what to fix because they've bothered to read what your customer concerns are.

Honestly, it's hard to disagree. 

 

In all the time I have been here, reading pc players reactions, reviews, I have only ever seen one pc user who stated they actually used the Tac Cam and had little issue with it (Sylvius the Mad).  And his described playstyle could definitely be labeled unique, which is fine as that's what m&kb control scheme's should be all about, but he was surely in the minority when it came to Tac Cam.

 

And as I stated many times, and well before the game was released, the Tac Cam for PC is redundant, and should have been a console only feature.  But instead, now everyone is forced to wait and see how Bio is able to "fix it...

 

The tactical camera is as close to DA:O as anything in this game. Normal view in DA:I is utter console/MMO standard fare. Perhaps you like that, and fine, but without tac-cam this would be nothing but a twich-based beatemup. 

 

I can't see a single reason for the tac-cam for consoles, if it's redundant anywhere, then it's on the PS4/XB1 etc.

The Tac Cam, regardless of platform, is utterly counter-intuitive. By far the worst game mechanic I have EVER seen. It is not a combat aid, it is a goddamn HINDRANCE! Period.

 

(And I don't know what you are smoking, but it is NOTHING like DAO's Tac Cam)
