What? Who is "she" and where did she say customers were not important and are you sure "she" works for EA?
Keep in mind he's concerned from just the Multiplayer side of the game, but it's the Bioware response on social media by employees that makes gamers like us concerned. Here is BWEAmelia's response as of yesterday:

Some very sneaky editing to make my posts fit your viewpoint! As always, context is key, and there's a lot of context missing around the things you've posted ( I recommend following @AndrastesTits on Twitter, by the way, she's hilarious ).
Honestly, this video is solid evidence that these forums don't really want dev interaction or communication. When I joined the forum it was because I saw cries for these very things, and I thought I would help. What I quickly realized, however, is that whenever someone sticks their neck out in the forum there are a thousand swords to fall on it regardless of the content of the post. There is this very confusing cognitive dissonance where it seems this community wants interaction and communication, but pushes back fiercely when they actually receive it. A number of users on the BSN turn this space into a hostile, inhospitable environment, and asking why the developers don't interact is strange - the answer is well known. I will say - There are a number of wonderful, helpful community members in these forums whom I really appreciate. Its unfortunate that the people who are behaving poorly get so much attention.
I'm honestly disappointed things went this way, with you especially Penguin. You so quickly turned from a hero into a villain. I'm sorry that you didn't get what you wanted from me. I'm happy that you're taking what seems like a much needed break. Its going to be a good year for MP, there's a lot of awesome stuff coming down the pipe, and if you decide to check in in a few months I know you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Be Excellent to Eachother
Thanks,
Amelia
All I'm hearing is anger and authority to speak for Bioware as a whole. The forums can be overrun by bad posters, but punishing everyone isn't the answer. PR has the answer or maybe I've got it wrong as well. I feel a ban coming.

Dagnabbit, the game is crashing more often. I may have screwed things up when I rolled back the driver to the beta. Now i get the pagama reference. Oh Maker guide my hand...
I just have to ask, you do know you shouldn't roll back those drivers, ever... if it's that bad, boot into safemode, completely uninstall the drivers then reinstall them, up to the point you want/need.

I'll do what you said. I never had to rollback a driver for anything before and now I think there are some CAT files that aren't jiving. Thank you. I'd give you a like, but I'm all out. However, I have an unfathomable amount of brotherly love for you. Maker, guide my hand...
have been for quite some time. it's been like Belfast out here in the gaming landscape.

didn't see your post till now. I'm always ready to lend a hand, at least when I have some idea of what I'm talking about.
Why doesn't they have long hairstyles for both genders and all races or some nice hairdoes?
Some great examples exist in LOTR or other roleplaying games.
And then make it in a hairpack that we can buy.
And also i want to make a feminine human male but they all look so macho. Can't you make softer faces for the human male?
Thank you.
Yep, that makes no sense (for me) while you can put makeup on both genders. I like Saint`s Row 3&4 for this reason, you can swap hairstyle and clothes regardless of the gender. Sometimes it`s really hilarious, sometimes even cool.
Not speaking of my dream of making Arishock-like (from DA2) qunari is broken by fixed haircuts.
Speaking of qunari, why do they look too much like humans with horns? That`s hitting my uncanny valley pretty hard.
These exclusives are useless and irritating as a PC gamer, sure, when folks make their purchasing decision on whether to buy MS or Sony, they weigh up the games out on the consoles, including the exclusives.
Yet do they seriously expect us gamers who game on PC to buy a console just to play one game? Why else are they bribing devs to make multi-platform games exclusive? Whatever really, I don't know how console gamers put up with this.
It will be no surprise if DA4 will become an XBox exclusive title
Yeah, I can see that and the winds are blowing in that direction. It won't prompt me to buy another XBOX though. I'll just keep doing what makes me happy and game on my custom-built rig.

Seriously everyone, we all need to shut up and play nice or Bioware won't communicate with us.
Wait a thought occured to me..... we aren't preschool children. A lot of us are adults with jobs and families. Is it really so much to ask for a bit of respect from the companies that we choose to buy product from? I mean we get a reply from you Amelia, and your first line is a shot at Penguin? Gaming developers have started to act like they are better than the masses that they sell their product to, and I don't get it. If I ever spoke to customers at my job that way, you better believe I'd be hearing about it.
It seems like Biowares stance on not communicating with us is that we are too angry and juvenile and now we'll never mend that fence, pretty good scape goat. Wait until you provide us with false information or just decide we don't need any information, and when there is back lash just blame us for the whole thing. If you honestly communicated with your customers, we wouldn't be where we are. It's pretty insulting. We would never be this upset if you gave us some respect. You can say that Bioware employees aren't being respected but guess what, that is a small group, not all of us act that way. To just cut off communication to everyone for that is ridiculous. Another thought has occured, you aren't preschool children either!! You can talk with us while ignoring the ignorant people, besides it's the internet, who cares if some people on a forum are jerks, that's life, get over it.
This is all the answers I needed to make an informed decision when it comes to Bioware EA in the future. Thanks for the share Cyan.
Despite my opinion that this situation is being handled poorly, I actually respect Amelia's honesty and transparency (if it is genuine). Don't think I can really rant anymore, silence is gone, with all the answers. $90 gone though, oh well, I'll get my money's worth as previously planned with mods.

LOL, what the hell?! Calling people villains because they criticize Bioware's "interaction" with their customers? That's so bizarre and deranged it's hilarious. I'm still very glad I haven't purchased this game yet. All this stuff is unbelievable.

You can not just separate your product like SP or MP users, it's just wrong. Zenimax Online did it with The Elder Scrolls Online. They were unable to fix the problems in Cyrodiil (PvP or AvA) and as they have announced yesterday, they decided not to continue with the sub model-going to b2p.
In DAI's case, both SP and MP are broken. It's early to say but the number of people who still prefer Origins to Inquisition is very high. BUT, f.e. Diablo II: most of us agree that it's a gem. It was a huge mess on the launch day and it took around a year to make the game what it should be. And finally with the LoD expansion, game became nearly perfect (except cheaters/duplicators, they were unable to fix that problem).
I have faith in DAI, it has a great potential. Problems: it's rushed; full of bugs, fetch quests, performance problems, each new patch brought new problems, terrible communication... but I think it will be in a better state a year later. My experience from the latest BW/EA games thought me to never pre-order from them again. In this state, game does not deserve its full price.

I have just read the response of BWEAmelia in the mentioned thread... I understand she's frustrated with the comments but you can never react that way... come on, I mean, you went to the university and I'm sure you went to a pretty decent one. How come you can not handle this pressure? You are working for one of the biggest players of the market; there will be great days and there will be disaster days.
Yeah I was thinking the very same thing, this is very poor social media management in 2015, and it seems the very basic PR principles are lost.
I've seen competitors in my industry forced to sell off due to bad PR, and with good PR you can turn an unhappy customer into a customer who is even happier than if he/she never had the problem (which is the principle I follow, and was educated in). How did she land this job? Maybe they need a few more subjects into the curriculum for game design, because this is very basic knowledge when it comes to business.
Regardless this is the type of honesty and transparency I can respect, however unlike EA, others in the industry do so without insulting their customer base. It's very enlightening, even interesting.
