Sadly, I am suffering from DAI fatigue and uninstalled the game.
Will look at it later, after patch 4. In the meantime, I'm firing up a flight simulator... there I can relax while flying...

@Bioware
Some things I hope to see in patch 4:
* Mouse click to move to items (loot)
* Auto-attack ![]()
* Select all party members (shift + mouse click on portraits)
* Move tactical camera with mouse on screen edge
* Fully customizable quickbar (as in Origins), so I can hide buttons I don't need, such as the Hourglass, Hold, Attack, etc.
* Option to hide the minimap
* Better overview of our inventory

It is almost delirious but since dreaming is (still) for free, let's dream.
i just read BWEAmelía's post. According to Kupler-Ross model she is in stage 2 which is anger. The five stages are denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. These are emotional stages when someone faced with imminent death or death of someone. In her case death of her job or death of her company.
I was reading an industry newsletter today and there was an article about PR. Amidst all the smoke-blowing, it said something to the extent of: the worst way to manage customer expectations is to let their imaginations run wild. I laughed. Then I wept.
No, not really. I smirked and then read Dilbert (why is Dilbert still being put in company communications?).
Which one?
Microsoft FSX (2006)
Well said. I still have hope, but hope is fading fast into that breach Bioware committed against its PC fans. (pun intended)
Too many Breeches! (pun also intended)

Put out a Tactical guide for us poor folks who can't quite grasp how to use the simple one, using action style RPG gameplay. I would like to know the devs thoughts on this part of the game "mechanics".
Thanks.

Snip
All crafting should be based on skills/perks, not luck - running around gather tier I, II and III metals on pure luck not ok. Feeling that reloading saved games in front of a metal node again, again and again makes me a cheater.

Yeah... but it makes me feel better.... LOL!
No. No. This is just...no. This crap is utterly ridiculous. No one, and I mean NO ONE should have to jump through so many hoops to play a game that still may not be playable. No! Bad! Do not give into these cheesy cop out, half baked solutions. This is Bioware's screw up. Do not give them an out. Make them fix their game. We should not have to pay for their screw ups. (If the game was moddable, I mean like DAO where modders were able to work on it, I would not be so vocal. But being it isn't, Bioware fixes it. And fixes it right.) No one person should have to butcher their system, roll back drivers, use four to forty different types of fixes to get one half assed done game to work. Just no.
I have USB 3 portable hard drives for backups... I just back up the directory, make sure the registry is untouched and delete the "main game directory".. When I want to play the game again, I just copy it back...

Put the difficulty on very easy, hold the left mouse button.
Before the patch 4 ... Bioware should fix the 21:9 resolution bugs ...
We cant see all the behavior set list, for example ...

Like all these. But you forgot the big one,
All I wanna do is zoom the efff out in tac-cam without having to install cheat engine.
If serious.
If not serious.
The thread, now locked, pointed out how one engaged player became disinclined to interact positively. As I read the thread it was if looking into a bizarre alternative reality of the SP PC experience where there is interaction but the results are... well, I recommend watching the video at the start of it all to better understand. PenguinFetish did a really good job explaining his position but ultimately fell into the crux of using legitimate examples...
Both of these links made me smile =D

And not made by Bioware...
Yeah. When another developer fumbles the ball with an engine created by Bioware, I didn't even put in my two cents. I just let it collect dust. However, Obsidian, Bethesda and Black Isle (for a great number of games) know how to extend the life of a franchise while leaving Bioware to make new stuff.

RIGHT! I'm getting clues on how to progress the game (when it doesn't CTD) through other board members. Nothing official. We're apparently using the wrong social media. I guess the actual developers (anonymous cowards, maybe) are on reddit instead of an EA/Bioware forum. Smart...
I read that post from Amalia, That Allen closed... Seems they got their feelings hurt. OK that happens. But why should we wait a few months to be surprised like she said? I should have had a working game from day one, not in a few months, and BTW it has been over 2 months. Closing that thread is Pisspoor. You don't like anger in customers, Oh well, then don't be in PR. Hire someone who can defuse the situation. Perhaps in 2 months had you been honest and kept us up to date, THE ANGER WOULDN'T BE THERE. Perhaps if a PR person had been actively monitoring and answering in the forums the anger may not be as much. I personally feel PC players were outright lied to and I am FUXXCKING PISXXSED OFF. You all only interfere and close things down when what? Your feelings get hurt?

Let's face it. They can say all they want about being a PC gamer. PCs use a mouse (hey, it's got more buttons now and they're not mappable?), a keyboard. Controllers, gamepads, joysticks are optional. If they said up front, get a joystick because this is where we're headed... Fine. Did that happen? No. Instead we have excuses, fanboy bull and people coming to trash Bioware that are casual gamers who could care less about Origins. Does it even matter? No. Bioware ignores these forums unless someone is being reported on. I have no warning posts, but I fully expect a ban because I see more rats on this ship than actual crewmembers.

There is such a disconnect between the Bioware of then and now. It's not Bioware, anymore, but they still hold my beloved franchises and guess what? EA is listening. Origin had its earful over the Christmas season. Money talks and we're the suppliers. EA gets that. They're still selfish and greedy and make obvious plays for your wallet, but in the end... they're rich and they own our franchises. Bioware is reaching out to casual gamers by abandoning their core PC market. Those of you so short-sighted and think that consoles are the future... HAHAHAHA. Consoles are dumbed down PCs and when manufacturers lose profit over a period of time, they either develop a new console or take a break. PCs are not dead by any means and instead evolving with touchscreen hybrids. So, you fanboys leave us fans that are left with this mess to vent and the haters, post something constructive.
At first my reaction from Amelia was utter disbelief to the point that I just wondered what they taught in universities/colleges for game design. They need a few more subjects in their curriculum to teach basic PR principles as I mentioned in my previous posts on this thread. The first response straight after her post was a solid one by Jrandall and a picture says a thousand words:

But hell it's not just PR, even EA as a whole with their BS marketing they don't seem to know how to manage expectations, or more likely - they do, and figured it's best to adopt their rather unethical practice of BS marketing, budget QA and support, then damage control. Normally this is a sign of desperation based on what I've seen from businesses going on sale in my industry. But it's become standard practice for EA and the AAA industry as they seem to be getting away with it. Unethical practices being successful is nothing new in capitalism.
Amelia's post is perhaps untrained and uneducated, but it's perhaps as honest and transparent as we can get when it comes to how EA views their fanbase and paying customers. It's a solid nail to the coffin of Bioware after my fond experiences of the time I spent in the old BSN when I was modding DAO (though it's only one nail out of many). After all, it's not really a revelation but a confirmation.
(BTW the marketing for DAO was ****** poor I wonder if the writers/artists/composers even approved of Marilyn Manson being slapped on the trailers)
New feet in old shoes I guess, and it's all EA now. I can't spit on the Bioware brand as a fan of 16 years after many fond memories of gaming and dev interaction while Ray/Grey/Hudson/Presley was still with Bioware. As such I can't consider this experience a Bioware experience, as it's already typical EA.
Sad really, but nothing we can do about it as unless the indie market takes over (which they seem to be especially on the PC front). All I can do due to the cunning 24 hour refund window is uninstall Origin and avoid EA like the plague as I have done already. Slapping "Bioware" on their titles just adds insult to injury really, but they've got enough money from me using it.
Regardless this thread is rather quiet as the passion has worn off it seems, many of us including myself have already reached stage 5 of grief; acceptance at the death of Bioware. All I can say is move on guys, this isn't worth more of your time, unless you're just here for entertainment, which is even limited at this point. It's now just a good story to tell amongst my circles.
The first one was like watching a car crash. However, and not to judge, I am glad you derived some enjoyment from them... more so the kitten. Both of these links made me smile =D
Utterly insane that you want a working product. It's time for another analogy... *unenthusiastic horray*. I'm going to shake this can of beer and then ignore or strawman(ie: it's caustic people) the obvious disgust of the person that opens it.I read that post from Amalia, That Allen closed... A few things and sorry for cutting the post I really did read it. Firstly. They don't have damage control unless you count unlocking this thread. Second not giving in. Still in... I believe it's phase 2? Which one is anger?[...]
