Welp, I'm uninstalling.  I had fun playing in spite of the crummy interface, but I just don't see myself playing through this game again.

Multiplayer is a joke.  I really don't see how it got GOTY.

Won't be buying ME4.

Blizzard have own publishers which means they can polish their games as long as they want and they can do with it whatever they want, Bioware needs to listen to EA couse basically Publisher dictates developers what game exactly they want otherwise they won't publish It.

Well, Blizzard is owned by Activision, isn't it?

But terms are different becouse blizzard is still independent, its nothing like EA/bioware. Acti+Blizz made a fusion and they stayed independent as a dev studios working together and on their own with no restrictions to each other. EA owns Bioware, Activision do not own Blizzard

I'm relaxed, and so accepting of what is to become.  Why do I give 20 hoots?  Why did I give 70 dollars?  Are they equal?  I'm noticing incongruities in a game that hasn't lived up to what MILLIONS have thought it would be....?  If I complain about specific issues, then I need to relax.  Maybe.  Maybe the relaxed need to be more angry.

Sure, Bioware is a division of EA, as is stated proudly on their homepage. 

 

But don't get caught up in the naming of things. It was Activision and Vivendi Games that merged and they just thought it was cool to call it Activision-Blizzard instead of Activisions-Vivendi Games.

Of course that means technical independence from the parent company, but the parent company hires hand fires the board of each subsidiary, so it's more a technical separation than an actual separation.

 

Bioware is a division of EA like Black Isle was a division of Interplay. Instead of hiring and firing the board, the main company hires and fires management. A division is one step closer to the parent company, but the difference is largely negligible. 

 

For tax and corporate reasons it may be more convenient to have things one way or the other - I just wouldn't kick up too much of a fuss about perceived differences, there aren't many to speak of.

I just downloaded the 70 MB update.... What is it for? It looks like a secret hotfix or new mp routes through the utterly boring 3 maps. No info in twitter or from BW

Let us know what you find. It'd be nice if they released more fixes. Still hoping my voice gets fixed. I'm so surprised the dev's haven't released any command line or edit to a save file to toggle the voice from one to the other. *sad face*

The update is a hotfix for shields, and maybe other things (no patch notes yet so I am not sure what else is in it).

Fix the broken cullen side quest... I did the Sera prank quest before talking to the npc is cullens office and it's bugged now.

i have heard before that VGchartz numbers are not really reliable because it only counts for USA retail sales, what we need to see is world wide sales including digital sales before there is any point looking at those numbers and draw any conclusions.

Just had a glance at my old saves. 

• Frame rate is the same. No stuttering while Origin is set to Offline.
• CTD while opening the inventory screen.
• CTD while accessing the vendor.
• CTD while setting Iron Bull's skill points.
• CTD while using the skill reset necklace.

 

Pretty much what I've been seeing since the patch 2. I wonder what did they fix with this patch... I did not create a new game though, maybe the results are different.

I'd say it's more than just "directionally" correct.  If you think digital sales makes up millions of units you're mistaken.  We (the PC community) are woefully outnumbered by the console units.  If you believe otherwise, I have a bridge to sell you.

I'd say it's more than just "directionally" correct.  If you think digital sales makes up millions of units you're mistaken.  We (the PC community) are woefully outnumbered by the console units.  If you believe otherwise, I have a bridge to sell you.

XBox1 has sold about 10 million units worldwide since 2013

Hey I'd love to be wrong.  I've been a die hard PC geek for 30 years.  

 

Thing is, PCs are purchased for many things besides gaming.  I don't think you can make the claim that we outnumber the Console community for DA:I units sold based on the metrics you posted.  I'll give you the point that we don't have digital sales, so there's a gap in the data (we also don't have returns in those numbers).  

 

For the record, I am on your side ... the PC Community side.  Unfortunately, when it comes to BooWare and specifically DA:I, we are an afterthought.

At least the songs are good, not like the DAI's soundtrack, which is, forgettable i'd say. Mass effect has the best soundtrack imho.
