We are very aware that keyboard and mouse controls are an issue the PC community is passionate about (among others). It's something we are continuing to look into and continue to treat as a priority.

 

If you are aware of this, why wasn't this dealt with prior to launch? You must have known this was going to be an issue right?

He is the only one in my memory that mentions they are still looking at controls for the keyboard and mouse. So perhaps deprecation in this instance is unfair.

DragonsDream asks a fair question.  One we're all thinking.  WHY?!?!?  It's an insane m+kb system.  HOW?!?!?did this happen in the first place??  Did people with PC's beta test this thing?  Very sloppy and lazy.....Oh Booooware. why do you tempt me so?  Perhaps it's Conal, what with his soothing voice and good manners...

Looking is one thing, actually doing something about it is totally different. We're post patch 4 now in February, i see no improvements and no answers to legitimate questions....

^^^ Ncongruous, if I may call you that....I'm trying to be realistic.  Some guy used to (about 300 pages back) come on here and promise the moon, or at least try to assuage our fears, or try to protect the company's investment.  I can't tell by one post and look at their history.  THAT's what I'm taking note of...their system of avoidance.  The "passing of the buck", so to speak.

Personally, I want them to take their time on revaming the control scheme. Because I don't want them to throw a rushed and subpar control scheme and have it wait for them to fix it. You can always get the cheat engine and improved control scheme in the mean while to make kb/m a bit more playable in the mean time.  

Oh I do hope they take their time and get it right. I want a real m+kb ui, not the crappy console port we got. I would even have been willing to wait 6 months or a year after the release of the console version for a proper PC version of the game if I knew they were spending that extra time to in fact do a proper PC version. Instead, we got a rushed PC version and an angry fan base waiting and hoping for something playable to come along.

Yes. It's a speck of an island made of ice that I stand upon but as far as I know not one other individual is still saying it needs revision. That may be wrong and revision may be an improper word. But it's the only tenuous hope I can have in this regard... Which after writing that out is so very sad. Don't get me wrong though. I'll beat my drum about this for as long as I can Glaso.

Yup that's fine. It is my name.    Friend if I may as FOE seems untrue? *cricket chirp*... Anyway, I can't deny how or why you feel that way. To be honest it's damn justified. At this stage there is so much difficulty in finding ways to not be upset. I'm not entirely sure what else to say. I remain skeptical of course. But I can't throw him under the bus nonchalantly.

Stay firm, and be on them when they have promised you something and it's been months, and there is total silence on their end...no matter who/what the company is.  I really appreciate that Conal stopped by and posted what he did.  He did more damage control and probably bought the company more time to do whatever it is that they're doing...I probably don't want to know at this point.  It's so convoluted and strange...but I'm not trying to mock or demean anyone.  I just want to play the game as was promised to me.
