Almost 90 days since release and still can't play the game.
Nice.
Over 113 million hours announced played at the end of January; seems the game works for a few folks. And it is nice.
Hope the remaining Players find their problems and reclaim their game soon.
which suggests those of us with problems are out of luck.
That said, according to Origin, I've over 300hr of DA:I. Though I've completed only one playthrough which was about 80-90 hours, and most of the rest has being trying to get past crashes, restarting due to saves of doom, and probs time spent downloading repairs and patches.
Hey, now, if you're wondering about interaction, check out the thread "Has (sic) any staff members at Bioware shown that they're listening to fan feedback in the past few months?".
No less a personage than David Gaider (elfs ist der master race!) himself reached down from on high to basically tell us that these forums are almost exclusively for fan interaction, the 'real' devs hate them and find the vast majority of us unpleasant and not worth the interacting, quote 'as too much effort for far too little gain', unquote.
This thread and our concerns are meaningless. They couldn't give (edit here) less of a damn if they were paid a hundred bucks an hour to not give damns. They don't care about our 'problems' with this game and they sure as hell aren't going to hurt themselves dealing with them. 'Eventually, whenever' are the watchwords here.
So, complain all you like - but be respectful of the overlords - b!tch, moan and cry, because they don't hear you and won't hear you. There's nothing wrong with their precious except us. We're what's wrong with this 'process'. The apparent consensus among the devs is "the reason DA:I isn't 'good' is because the 'fans' suck."
We're alone and talking to ourselves here.

At least we know where we stand with them, then - I think this fact has also been made very clear in their focus with DAI: they don't care about their fans any more.
It really is a damn shame because they had something really good going with this franchise.
But you know what? There ARE other game companies who still interact with their fans - even Ubisoft! How many times have we seen statements from none other than CEO, Yves Guillemot. And Ubisoft is a much larger company than Bioware.
But somewhere along the line the devs at Bioware became incredibly arrogant in their estimation of themselves. And arrogance has a way of biting you in the ass. Just wait and see....
Bioware attitude towards the cosumers is so ridiculous I lost my anger and now it became funny and I guess a ot of people are laughing now. I just hope Bioware won't laugh with DA4. I rally hope people deny them their beloved money. We've been positively reinforcing them to do ****, if we do that again they will believe **** is really good. Bioware games will become a scat show... well, more of that is.
BioWoW doesn't understand that I may not want to do that $%#@^ quest! Or use that Perk! This was so poorly written it makes my blood boil!
Who in their right mind as a Producer or Lead Designer would not give some one the option to say NO! No I don't want to go all over Thedas looking for bloody bottles.
AAArrgh!!
You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day
Wow, nice prices and performance it seems. I´ll look forward for on of those. Thank you @Peregrinus linus vinus (?) xD Love you!
AFAIK yes, it has a lot to do with it. Mine is old, no proper ventilation and makes the air inside the case dense and hot. The LED light set up is always worth it, even if your rig burns you can have fun watching all the lights and shinny stuff xD
With that temperature your CPU and GPU were at 37 degrees? I hate you. And i love you. But i hate you now. Love you later.
AND YOU TOO JUST CAUSE HAVING SIX FANS IN YOUR RIG I HATE YOU AND LOVE YOU BUT HATE YOU BUT LOVE YOU LATER.
I have 11 fans in my case,17 fans if you count the 3 on each of my 2 R9 290's for anyone wanting good Airflow above all else you cant go wrong with the Corsair Air 540 or if you want to build a Micro ATX/Mini ITX build the Corsair Air 240 and Fractal Node 804 are both excellent choices. However Stay well clear of the Corsair C70 while it had that subjectively cool military "ammo can" style the Airflow is terrible. One case worth keeping a eye on for those looking to change cases in the near future is the Thermaltake Core X9 http://www.newegg.co...N82E16811133275 offers all the function and space of Caselabs S8( I think its that Caselabs case Not sure) but at a 5th of the price.

I AM TECHLESS! You will nevertheless heed me and my pontifications! Hail Bioware! HAIL VICTORY! HAIL!
Sorry, keep seeing that everywhere... someone deserves their EA Toady Award™ most assuredly.
I believe I asked a while back that we get something, even if it was just a "go feck yerselves'. So we've got. So I am satisfied and thus know my course.
You know who was really insulted by all that, though?
My money.
It is adamant I no longer use it to employ EA in almost any regard. It and I are in complete agreement in this matter and have been for some time.
We also would like to humbly suggest everyone else here talk to their money and see what it thinks. EA doesn't want you to do that, so I - if I may be so direct - think you should.
so I'm still wondering if with infinite zoom, you can play this with click-to-move. I keep asking and the question keeps getting lost in other discussions
You can, you you need to set it up on tactical cam, which means its not very functional. Also if you send another party member on some place thru tactical cam, he will not hold position, he will come back to you. I done that when i was trying to activate a lever that required 2 chars.
Basically the pathfinding is there, it could perfectly work with normal cam, but i suspect Bioware dont want to fiddle with default mouse actions nor allow more mapping.
Do I need to remind you at what state BF4 was released? A bug hell is an understatement.
About Cryengine, I've read some comparison between it and Unreal 4 engine, and they conclude that the UE4 toolset is far superior. From screenshots they both look very pretty, although UE4's screenshots show much more variety.
I remember, i was there ![]()
On the first months, a lot CTDs. TBH, not all could be pinned under Frostbite, its mainly a rendering engine. A lot of several bugs were caused by bugged game code and the fabled "netcode"... until recently the so called "netcode" had some bizarre lag things like you are killed with enemy 0 health.
From the last quarter 2014 i have being playing BF4 without much issues, 600+ hours.
UE4 is really good; also considering UE is the mostly licensed engine, its no wonder its build from bottom to be the complete and ultimate customizable engine.
There is also the dreaded gamebyro Bethesda insists in using, that is noted for its several flaws.
There we have it. The tac-cam BW spoke of in their video was stolen from an old dev right before the game went gold and they have all hands full trying to catch the rascal.

Indeed, absolutely no confusion there! People like Gaider and Laidlaw and Darrah all helped me to come to an absolutely solid decision to never exchange my heard-earned currency for a product bearing the EA logo again.
They really did work hard in pushing me towards the decision, so it is only right that I honour that.

QFT!
I am right there with you. And am not shy about sharing that opinion. I love pointing people to this thread when asked "why" I feel the way I do. I hope BooWare keeps this thread around for years so I can continually point to it when their new titles or DLC release.
Oh God! The Bioware can`t even imagine how much I want to play this game. It just sunk in my soul.I have dual core. It would be great if they replaced denuvo for something else, that desn`t requires 1 core. Or just optimized for dual core somehow.

A lot of people like you waste more than 500 hours into it? Thank you for the notification, this is the feedback EA is looking for. You know why Blizzard started making events and story into the zones in WoW, making them unique? To mask being the same soulless grindfest Inquisition unmasked is.

Your comment got me thinking...
What would DAI have been like if it did not have the beautiful graphics. Just remove the graphics, nothing else.
If you can strip away the superficial appeal of a game and still give it a nod at being a good game based on actual gameplay, I'd say you have a big success on your hands.
If not, well....need I say more?
So, now people who genuinely like the the game share your blame? Great. How dare they, right?

Yeah, for some people it is simply not enough being part of a large group of people not liking the game and giving this feedback to the developer, which normally should suffice. Nope, those who try to leave the herd get blamed, too. ![]()
is it fixed yet? ive almost forgotten about this game... which means that bioware has won.... gah 60 bucks and still unplayed

Who said that here? Was it me? Sure as hell wasn't me. I don't condemn people for liking this game and never will. I wanted to like this game. I really, really did. Being constantly told that any issues we have are irrelevant because it works peerlessly for others is insulting and irritating and unnecessary.
We actually do have actual problems, actually. We aren't making this shite up. It actually - out here in the real world - happens, honest and for true. It's not some existential conundrum. We're not having psychotic episodes because we all gots the HateEA virus and refuse treatment. Happenings are transpiring.
At this point the devs had made it clear that our problems don't particularly matter. That doesn't mean we will be silent - and no amount of b!tching about us being 'unreasonable meanies' is gonna change that.
Go to, go play, enjoy. Those of you with no concerns are then unnecessary in this thread. It is not for you. It is for those with real problems with this 'perfection' of a game.
Here's a suggestion: y'all Trouble-free get a petition together to have Elhanan start a thread - stickie that b@stard - where all like-minded can congregate and hold hands and sing EA's praises for its peerless mastery of the genre while shining each other's arses. For posterity and all that. Let us wallow in our dankly sweet sewer and shamble and shuffle and grunt and snort and slobber hate because hate. Even though it isn't hate - far from it.
Come brothers and sisters! Let us thrust our impotent fists in the air uselessly while the Heightened Ones watch condescendingly from their moist and glistening tumescent towers and tut-tut us for our own good.
We are, after all, so desperately awful.

Vraiment monsieur?

I presume this is in regards to the reaction elicited from the following posts: Jadebaby, Elhanan? If not feel free to skip the rest of this post or if you don't like gifs do the same. I can not speak for how anyone else felt obviously but here's how I see it.
This is not so much a case of:
But a case of:
You can like the game just fine. Plenty of others have made such remarks in this thread with no shared ground. A crass reply to someone who has apparently been unable to recoup any form of satisfaction from this product is a trollish thing to do. Not on grounds of simple dislike are they unable to play mind you. Unable to play a game due to stability issues. Time was spent specifically to marginalize a dire short coming of another. In this I do not feel it is a case of being disliked for not ingratiating themselves to the "herd".
[edit]
Unless you like QWASDE tac cam. You should not be liking that and I am that livid kid in that picture.
Here's a new kitten, not at all funny, but so cute. Bioware, Inquisition is an amazing game, but please fix the PC controls and framerate drops.
Meh, you know what might actually help at this point? Human sacrifice. One of the devs might do, just slice him up in front of the others and it will give them motivation.
Disclaimer, i do not plan on doing that.
Looks like they decided to offer a closed beta for patch 5, smart.
They are learning at least.
Yeah I just read the post, looking forward to it.
