Pretty sure 345.20 is just a modified clone of 344.75/344.80....with the security updates added and MFAA
It's like going one step forward but four steps back
Pretty much like BioWere patches....

Do we have any idea when Patch 5 will be ready? Like a month or so?
Not involved in the beta, and I do not recall seeing any official announcement so my answer is no idea. I'm going to be "unrealistic" and stick with my original guess of late March. I think that's what I wrote.

Mid-March. No need to be that pessimistic.
Plus, if they need more than a month to test a patch, it better be a goddamn good patch...

LOL....Mid-March is VERY optimistic. Try "later this year"....

More like.... And I quote: "later this year".
Honestly, I don't know why Bioware even bothers.
Other games that were released around the same time have been patched and for some, DLC has even been released.
This is the worst game support I have ever seen for such a high profile game company. Simply unbelievable.

Being so unreasonably and unintelligently judgemental does no good to anyone. There are tons of games and companies who are crap at support. The Unofficial Skyrim Patch (and, previously, the Oblivion' one) fixes literally thousands of bugs. And as far as I known, Bioware isn't known for delaying their patches. And much less by the amount of time you say.

Even if you get the patch mid-march youll have an autoattack. Yepp, summs it up. There are nonimportant minor stuff like chest and face customization mirror and im sure there are plenty of other minor stuff too. They can stick their glorified chest up their ****-s, im gonna waste my time and my money later on pillars of eternity instead of this junk. If they surprise us with Origins-like tactics system and click to move with autoattack in all views, queueing up commands, mouse button binds ingame options in this patch, then the joke is on me. Every other scenario is unaccaptable after more than 3 months of release. Plain and simple. And i am very selfish with this list of absolute basic and expected standards because i didnt even mention the dx crashes as being one who didnt have those.

They're not gonna include advanced AI and tactics in a patch. They didn't do it in DA2 and they aren't gonna do it in DA:I because it's far more complex than just putting some extra menus and be done with it.. Face it and stop whining like a kid.

Maybe next time in DA4 they will not implement the inventory system and you will defend it because its would have been too complex to do.
I know you mean its too complex for a patch. I guess if 4 years wasnt enough it wont happen now or ever. For people who cant figure out how to make mouse buttons bindable :DDDDDD.
Edit: There is no problem, you are just happen to be one of those people who dont realize the inferiority of the game compared to its prequels. Everyone is loved and special! Even the developers at BW!

Glad to hear the mature arguments of an expert AI programmer.
And just to be sure, there are 2 sarcasms in that phrase. Hope you get them.
Just noticed it was the Qunari that dragged Madonna down some stairs this week ![]()

They weren't included in DAI so I guess they had to find something else to do.
Actually, shame they were left out... horns are rendered quite well by the plastic fantastic engine...hair not so much....

Given the precedents set over recent times, for quite some time, I wouldn't hold your breath.
Hope.
Have you looked at the game details section of Origin. There is a new content in the add-ons and bonuses
The Black Emporium (IP1) release date: unreleased
DLC yes. Free ? tbd
lol this game still is not finally patched? ![]()
end of march pillars of eternity is out and the beta showed it will have everything da:i is still missing. great ui, great tactical depth, complexity, great writing, difficulty and the beta got nearly no bugs. and the best, its a game for pc players. when da:i is finally finished nobody will care about it anymore, bad bad move bioware. the next real crpg is around the corner and it will be great

Oh, you and your exaggerations......kinda D:

Considering the black emporium is the only fix for the voice change bug Bioware could come up with, there's no doubt about it being free.

So it's Josh Stiksma that's responsible for the lack of mouse and keyboard controls?
I've a really strange problem, I think it's a bug
About a week ago, I was playing the game and it suddenly closed, without any message, error or anything. "How odd" I thought, it had never happened before. I oppened the game again, I kept playing and about 20 minutes later, it closed again. It was even stranger when I realised that Firefox had closed at the same time, and I got the "error report" Firefox asks you to send to notify the problem.
I stopped playing and that was it.
A few days later, I played again. Now it doesn't closes, it minimizes. It just happened five minutes ago. I'm playing and then it just minimizes. I can't bring it again, I select it and nothing happens. The only way to close it (aside from throwing my PC into the sea), is trough the task manager. It says it's responding, but it isn't.
I tried to fix it through Origin, in case some file was wrong, and nothing.
My question is: is it a bug? Because if it is, I have no idea what triggered it...
My PC has the lastest game version (update 4), the lastest NVIDIA drivers, Flash Player and pretty much everything else.
Also IT'S NOT THE NEW NVIDIA DRIVER, the ones that "improves" DAI's performance. I donwloaded the update AFTER this happened.
PC Specifications:
SO: Windows 7 Ultimate
CPU: Intel i7 3770
GPU: MSI GTX 770 4GB
RAM: 16GB

Bethesda gets away with poor support exactly because of the moddable nature of Skyrim.

Then you're saying there is no chance for improvement and this engine was too hard for Bioware to handle.

That GPU does seem to have issues with the game, even with the workarounds I will list below, it is still occasionally prone to crashing, usually with the DX crash but, there are steps you can take to minimize the crashes.
In Windows - Set power mode to Performance. (this is found with your screen saver settings.)
In Nvidia Control Panel set to Single Display Mode, Maximum Performance and, Vsync to Application Controlled.
In Game Turn Post Prosseing Effect to LOW in the graphics option. Set the Game to run in Full Screen Windowed mode. Exit the game completely and restart it after making these changes.
I doubt that will stop the crashing 100% for you but, it will minimize it and, with frequent saves, you should be able to play at least until a real fix is released by Bioware and/or Nvidia.
NOTE: For other GPUs the above steps can often stop the crashing entirely, not always but it does help.

I didn't watch that video earlier. What makes you say this, Cyan?
Guest_Cyan Griffonclaw_*
I am going to watch the video because I think that is the guy to hear from in these forums regarding the controls.
