"This thing is huge," said Jedi Sartoz. "It has so many levels of complexity. It's no wonder they can't finish it."
"What? It's more like they fired or executed anyone with knowledge on this thing, " replied Jedi Brogan. "I have a bad feeling about this..."
"Look... we're inside now," stated Jedi DarkAmaranth in a cool, smooth tone. "We can peek inside and see what efforts they're making to fix it."
"I don't want to be inside," said Jedi KilrB. "This is all crap. We shouldn't be here. We shouldn't have to be here in the first place!"
The four Jedis huddled in a remote corner of the ship. They had sneaked aboard the vessel under the guise of beta testers from around the galaxy. Yes, the Empire had invited beta testers to see for themselves this game-changing ship that everyone cheers or fears. After an initial meeting with their tour guide droid, they quickly broke away from the tourist beta-testers and worked their way onto the deck of the ship.
All four Jedis saw a massive array of monitors and joysticks everywhere. They found two keyboards and one mouse which had only two buttons. One keyboard was that failed ergonomic, split-design and the other a Dell keyboard missing a few buttons.
"I guess they didn't budget in any keyboards or a single gaming mouse," replied an incredulous Brogan.
KilrB moves along the upper deck and finds a schedule pertaining to the construction of the Apathy. It shows that no time had been invested into the steering or tactical assets of the ship. They simply had not allotted enough time before the launch. KilrB tells the other four Jedi what he found.
"Yeah... and..." said Sartoz. "Still doesn't change a damn thing. They took our galaxy credits and said that we would have a finished product."
"A dell keyboard. Wow. A two-button mouse. Did they find these things in some museum?" asked Brogan.
"So, excuse me... how are we supposed to make this ship our own?" asked Sartoz.
"We have to help them fix it before we take it for ourselves," said DarkAmaranth. "Otherwise, we'll be spinning in circles and our tactical cameras won't zoom far out enough. We'll never make a single parsec."
"This is wrong. It feels so wrong..." replied KilrB.
