Yes it is, but THIS UPDATE (Origin updated too) won't load my DAI game now! wtf...

 

You picked it up, with Patch 5 installed and new, Patch 5-exclusive saves?

I've played ME3 many times, yeah.  Modded the ever-livin' shite out of it.  Bought it a home in the country and see it on the weekends for hot monkey love.

 

Since the devs have pretty much intimated the next ME will be little like the last three, it's as easy to say it very well could be. 

 

Given that EA has stated that it (paraphrasing) would rather trash SP and just milk the suckers through MP (or do people play BF or COD anything for the story?  There do have stories, y'know.) - again, it's easy to play at speculation. 

 

Given that I personally don't give a saddled-rat's-ass what the next ME consists of due to a total lack of faith in EA anything, I could just as easily say that it could be sculpted from polished turds and sent in boxes covered in blue asari phalluses.  If I were serious, I would have said so from the outset.

 

Why would I want to be a game reviewer?  If I wanted to be paid to lie through my teeth I'll either become a priest or a politico.  At least they generate minute levels of credibility.

 

My bad. Thought you were talking about ME3 - BF4.

 

Still, having in mind the work they're putting on the Mako alone, I doubt the next ME will ever compare to that.....thing (BF4 ).

No I was loading my game to look for you, but it won't load and Origin just updated too, but the game will not launch. It was fine last night before I updated it with that tiny update this morning.

 

Typical EA behaviour Anyway, neither Origin or DA:I updated for me. Maybe you're just having issues on your end.

 

(sigh) I'm gonna have to create an expendable character just to look out for this, right?

It seems this patch that updated this morning claims my game is running on a newer patch and I need to download that in order to play, but I have patch 5 downloaded so I am going to repair and reinstall the patches. Lol it won't take long then I can still check for you, as I am curious too.

 

Well, two eyes are better than one, so....

 

Anyway, I'm gonna try it, too. It's my fault for not checking all the houses, and I wanna know if that bug only affects existing pre-Patch 5 saves, or all of them (and thus, if I can F&%$#@ finally begin my Nightmare playthough).

I've been following this thread off and on since it's been made and have got to say you guys have some serious overreactions.

 

Yes there were a few issues with the PC version. A part of me misses the true tactics of Origins. But I also like some of the more action oriented implementations as well. Overall I feel like this is one of the best games I've ever played. Sure it has some issues but overall it is a stellar game.

 

Some of the "I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER BIOWARE PRODUCT. BIOWARE ARE SELLOUTS. A MONKEY COULD CODE THIS GAME AND NOT MAKE MISTAKES" sound really depressing. I mean if I were someone who worked on this game and read some of this drivel and down-right hate I'd start drinking.

 

Why not try to be more positive and constructive in your criticism so you all don't sound like a bunch of self entitled douches. Just word things more positively, you will prolly begin to feel better about yourself and your online interactions.

 

Overall if any dev reads this and stops at my post, you did a great job. This is easily one of the best games I've played in along time and has all the things that still make bioware games great. Go home tonight and know you did a stellar job. I've played almost every bioware game since Neverwinter Nights and still love every single game since then, warts and all.

My game is updating too Caoimhe. I haven't even played it today. I opened Origin and it started. Weird since I don't have auto-update turned on. An Origin thing perhaps? I have the updated patch installed so what?

No autoupdate for me still. I feel lazy tonight so I'll test the amulet issue tomorrow.

Just killed Hivernal and Kaltenzahn, no amulets of power. Cool. Seems like amulets are patched from the game.

Not entirely, the one in Crestwood is there for me, so are some from war table missions. I still don't know if they were intentionally or accidentally removed.

Inquisition is massive too. LOADS of mmo collection system. My guess is ME4 will be a carbon copy of Inquisition but with guns and mako.Plus possibly 50% of your companions will be gay. At least.

I love the Mako! It steers like a broken truck at times, but it's still great fun driving around, plus it packs a punch

Same as above. Also, only amulets of power from chests or loot seems affected by that bug (War Table amulets seemingly aren't).
