In preparations for the DLC review I came across AJ's review of Battlefield: Hardline. All I can say is look at it for yourself.

New DLC = $14.95
http://www.mmorpg.co...m/thread/429524
From the above url:
"Jaws of Hakkon will reveal the fate of the last Inquisitor and the powerful dragon he hunted. The new content expands the land of Thedas with a massive new playable area covered in mountains and lush forests, where danger lurks in the shadowy undergrowth. As players explore the vertical landscape and dense wilderness fighting off vicious enemies, they will collect legendary armor and weapons before unearthing an ancient secret that could destroy the world"
Edit: One commentator said :
"..They aren't even trying anymore are they? Main Campaign..save the world. First DLC... save the world. Gee I wonder what the second DLC will be about. Sure hope it's about saving the world."

Well, that didn't take long.
Still one of Bio's most vocal critics, here. As many of the testers are.
Keep your anger directed at the people who earned it, if'n you please, rather than those of us who are trying to go in to bat for the PC Concerns group.
And who are those might be, Bethgael?

Actually several sites have confirmed with Aaron Flynn that the DLC is out tomorrow.
OK, fair enough. I stand corrected.
Isn't it amazing though how Bioware manages to create confusion about just about everything they say...

I wasn't even looking for a fight. And I have nothing against Bethgael and have been here long enough to respect some of the members of this forum.
Why would anyone pick up a fight with me?

From the latest patchnotes:
[PC] Enabled binding of additional mouse buttons for mice with more than two buttons.
Slowly but steadily Bioware is suffering through the "dark ages of pc development" they obviously gotten into and are re-learning once known but now forgotten techniques and methods from the period of ancient g®eek.

Good work, Bioware. Getting there! ![]()

Yes, because apparently they never anticipated that people would be using mice with more than 2 buttons. LMFAO!

I still think Alistair sucks as tank... But lots of love for Morrigan.

does anyone know what this dlc is actually about at this point, or do we have to shell out money simply to find out that it is totally boring and uninteresting?
My guess would be 15% story, 85% filler quests about fetching some more elfroot.

I give up....6 patches, and they still haven't made it possible to rebind Left and Right Mouse Button yet.
this is beyond moronic at this point...

@Bioware Can we please focus on getting the game to work properly for the majority , and fixing the inadequate UI/PC mouse/keyboard controls. It's been 4 months now, and it took that long to fix the mosaic issue which was one of the original bugs reported back in november. Come on now.. *sigh*

Yeah, I saw that in the patch notes & got really happy .... now I'm wondering if I'm stupid, because I don't see the option to do this anywhere.

You can't rebind the left/right mouse buttons, but you can however rebind other mouse buttons you may have on it to other tasks. It is still baffling why rebinding the primary/secondary buttons of a mouse is a problem.

Well thanks for that bit of disappointment
Seriously though, thanks for the response, and I too, am baffled, perplexed, frustrated, and lots of other things. Going to go sulk in my corner now.

You branded the entire Beta test group - including Bethgael amongst others - as arse-lickers. How is this not looking for a fight?

Yes, it is absolutely ridiculous, I agree.
That, and we STILL have no fix for the Skyhold pyjamas - not even the option to keep armor equipped, after this was one of the very first issues people posted about even before the game was released!
Tac Cam is STILL a joke.
They neglect to fix REPORTED bugs and they KEEP INTRODUCING NEW BUGS with these patches EVEN AFTER THEY'VE HAD PEOPLE BETA TEST?!
And what about the PC UI??? We still have to click top-right, bottom left, fiddle fiddle etc etc in this dog's breakfast of a UI....and in the meantime....
THEY ARE ALREADY RELEASING DLC!!! Which is really a big "**** you" to PC fans.

The two-mouse button can't be rebound--but you can switch them over so left-click is interact and right-click attack (closer to default on DA:O and everywhere else). It's not perfect... but a step in a direction... of some sort. ![]()
[I'll be happier when you can right-click bind "autoattack"... and also when we finally beat it into the dev's heads what "autoattack" actually means... it's halfway there, in any case. I suspect some coding issues with that one.]

I tend to use him as an offtank in my canon game (she's a warr) but I kinda like him in other instances. He's all Brrrrrrrrahhhh and uuuuuuuuuuugh and ooooooooooofff when you set him up well. ![]()

I used to use him all the time, then I discovered indomitable two handed reaver Sten. Even with a butterfly sword.
