The fanboys are right about the hyperbole. When the developers take a month long break or just stop talking to us out of fear breaking some NDA... YOU FREAKIN' BET THAT THE REAL FANBOYS ARE GOING TO USE HYPERBOLE.
Hyperbole. Hyperbole. Hyperbole.
It's better than walking away and watching your favorite company die of self-preservation and egotism.
Really? It's a way to vent our frustrations and put it in a place where the developers, the shareholders, the executives, the artists, the writers, etc. could see how their efforts are being translated by their most loyal fans.
I'm not holding a sign out in front of Gamestop. I'm not calling the Better Business Bureau. I'm not making creepy comments to the Bioware employees. I'm stating what I can in a direct manner and you can take politically-correct remarks and shove them straight up your colon.
I'm here because there is a pattern of short-changing the customer. REMEMBER THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT?!?
No... not here. It's made clear that they only cater to us when the numbers dip in the red and it will... if it already hasn't. I supported and preordered everything unlike many of the fanboys here. I did it because I wanted to support the people that actually do the work like programming, writing, painting, musicians, etc. Those that actually love their craft.
Those people are gone (WHO IS TO BLAME FOR THAT?) and we're left with half-baked ports that don't launch on release dates because they didn't have time to do (WHATEVER) to make it right. So... please... get off our thread.
By the way, I'm no The Knights Who Say Icky, Icky, Icky, Zip-It.
I'm the Hero of Fereldan. I'm Commander Shepherd. Just like Bioware intended.
