That would be an accurate assumption. The two are released separately.
And we, PC gamers, are on the bottom of the line, as expected ![]()

I think it was 1.5 GB
about BE.
to be fair, the 'BUY' part... basically you need to have xbox live gold (which is a subscription) to even download BE which is free. xbox/console stuff
i'm more concerned about core functionality: mouse bindings, tactical camera not having collision and not being bind to invisible object, click to move in action mode (looting), more than few party members selection in tactical mode, party AI, UI - you know, grid inventory instead of slides, that kind of stuff.
after reading patch notes, there is nothing for me in there (oh wait, i think they fixed tactical camera zoom so i can see the battlefield)
couldn't care less about tinting armour or changing face, but... different strokes for different folks, i suppose.
tbh, i don't even want those things fixed anymore, i don't really care anymore ![]()
why am i here then? trolls for life, i guess.

I use the new one since some months, but I don't play any more DAI
Waiting for the correct patch (will not be the 7)
JPR out!
PS : do you use mantle? I had some crash with it but the game was rather smooth...
No mantle otherwise the game won't progress past the main screen.
You know, there one poster there on that topic about Black Emporium in feedback/Suggestion, by the name Jaron Oberyn. You should read first read his posts on this topic (just search his name in the search tab) and then compare that with his posts on that topic.

Very strange : I had no problem...

PS but I'm always on patch 2 ![]()
The last, but not the least
BE for PC is out, too ![]()

I'm just weeping. Not laughing.
Anyone else having issues with the update / BE DLC on PC? I downloaded and installed the patch and the DLC, but I noticed some of the listed changes in the patch notes didn't take effect (e.g. the tile for the Archdemon mosaic is still missing in Skyhold), and the Black Emporium is nowhere to be found on the war table map - it's supposed to appear in the Kirkwall area, correct? I checked with two different character profiles / saves.
Tried repairing my game and that didn't seem to do anything either...
The mosaic fix isn't retroactive (it will only work if you haven't collected the bugged piece yet).
I'm not sure why the Emporium wouldn't show up for you. You did "purchase" and download it (it's separate from the patch)?
Thanks for the info on the mosaic piece - well, that's a bit of an annoyance that it'll forever be missing in some files, but no big deal...
And yeah, I "purchased" and downloaded the BE DLC separately, and it's showing up as installed in Origin, but I haven't found the BE on the war table map - it's supposed to be a quest marker, correct? Tried it with a late-game save and another character who's mid-game... if other people are on PC and it's showing up fine for them, then I'll try fiddling around some more.

Cheese and Crackers. Every odd patch breaks my game. Patch 3, I had issues with framerate and late appearances of NPCs (Super Bear and Super Lyrium Smuggler doing Superman landings). Patch 5, I couldn't bind keys because of an issue and Skyhold was slowing down in FPS. Patch 7, back to framerate issues, but I did update my video driver to the newest version for ATI. I have three titles that demanded the new driver.
I have a query.

Yeah it's weird...it says it's 100% complete but it keeps going.
Hmm, I figured out what the issue was but I don't know how to fix it - the Black Emporium DLC shows up in my installation folder (Dragon Age Inquisition/_Installer/DLC/Black Emporium), but there are practically no files in the directory (only about 1.75 MB worth). I tried deleting the folder and then doing an update / repair game, but Origin just recreates the folder, does a super-quick install process, and says the DLC is "installed" even though there are still no game files in the installation folder.
Anyone have any tips / suggestions on how to get Origin to properly download the DLC?
EDIT: never mind, apparently the folder is meant to be that small; I'm guessing the asset files are actually contained in the patch update or something. The DLC wasn't showing up because I didn't log in to the Dragon Age servers first (I rarely do...)

I had the same issue this morning. Restarting Origin or my computer didn't help and in the end I simply restarted the download (canceled it). That fixed the issue nicely, but I lost 800 megs of the download, so.. yea, I think I might have been able to live with the bug (course, it also might have meant the download was corrupted).
Perhaps not; it is not here, after all....
OK.. I give you a point... +1
Updating to the new driver was a bad call. I'm only getting 5-6 FPS now. I'm not going to go back since this is actually the second update to the drivers since the beta was released on Nov. 19th. Good grief.
And they say this thread is bad. It's full of hyperbole, but it seems everybody is trying to get along which is great. In Feedback & Suggestions... it's another story. People are not talking in hyperbole, but just flat out insulting and angry. When we talk, we might throw in a barb or two about Bioware (EAware and DICEware, being my favorites), but I'm seeing a new hot spot and for once it's not us.
Also, Elhanan and Correctamundo, I apologize for coming to someone else's defense and getting "stupid." I just got tired of people calling us "psychos" (see Githcheater's post on 12APR15) or people "flaming" someone because they have an issue and they don't. It's PC Community Concerns where people with PC concerns can tell Mr. Darrah in this thread what the hell is wrong with their game. (Fat lot of good that's doing.)

I tweaked them every which way. I started off with the original configuration that I had. Framerate is down, big time. I went toi minimal and framerate was fine until I looked around and then the FPS dropped real bad. Turned off shadows and saw a slight improvement, but framerate was down when I faced the first demon with Cassandra... that was as far as I got because frankly... yawn.

I just read in a review that it took 18 months... a year and a half... for DICE to fix their title, Battlefield 4. 18 months... and this was DICE who made Frostbite 3. Good grief.
can i play the game with mouse and keyboard? or should i have to wait more?
[PC] Added new feature that allows users to sheathe and unsheathe their weapons. This feature can be accessed via the key-binding screen.
you implement something like this over a proper tactical mode?? this is like showing all pc gamers the middle finger... to be more direct, you could add a "show middle finger" keybinding as the major feature of your next patch...

Well, the engine forfills all the requirements that EA desires; great graphics, no moddability and difficult to patch. Who cares about mods right? They are on PC only, not the market they are focused on, and who cares about patches taking 18 months? They have your money at release.

Chuckling here.... because it came to mind that Bio mentioned, soon after game launch, that they would be adding features to the game....
They keep their word, apparently.... LOL
