can i play the game with mouse and keyboard? or should i have to wait more?
nope. You can wait... but probably better to just move on. Give up on the game or buy a controller. Click-to-move is not going to happen here.

Very strange : I had no problem...
JPR out
PS but I'm always on patch 2
That's some difference. He used to make Elhanan look too critical of Bioware.
There are no tooltips???
(from page 4)
You know, I keep forgetting to mention this too. Still no tooltips.
I'm just weeping. Not laughing.
Should be mandatory watching for any PC user!
Best one I have seen.

Overwrought - just like this thread.
As DAI was supposed to have been developed as a MMO, and as it has a M/P component, the patching seen thus far is appreciated; not scorned.
The first half of your statement has no bearing on the second half. Yes, patching is generally appreciated, though clearly many wish more was being done quicker.
Considering they contracted out the MP to a different studio (Montreal), the fact the game contains MP has (or should have) no bearing whatsoever on the release state of SP.
Would someone that still has this game installed on PC please let me know if the BE allows voice changes. Haven't verified last info I've seen that says no.

It may; used the Voice Test option, but chose to keep the current voice.
That's the first thing I checked out too, since earlier someone said it wasn't possible. It plainly is. Although it had me worried that it seemed to switch my dwarfs voice to British by default. I'm wondering if I hadn't checked, would it have changed.
The best part is I could fix my dwarf eyes,
They were pretty bad before,

Except that the SP combat was developed and tested in the MP side, at least at first.
I think it was 1.5 GB
And 3 gig for the MP expansion. I didn't even want it.

Also changed the eye color; a bit darker blue seems less like a cartoon when in close to the face. But my original choice was still American, so wonder if this is a glitch based on system, stings, etc.
I don't know what happened exactly. I clicked on the voice option in the CC, and when it opened up, a British voice spoke. I changed it to the other choice, and it was still British. Changed again and it was back to American. Eh, anyway its all good now.

JPR out!
I will attempt these after the move. Yup... we sign papers tomorrow.
I was the one that had said it wouldn't, based on the Dragon Age facebook page details for the emporium listing a feature to allow you to "customize your characters face" with no mention of voice. My queries for details were never responded to.
I may finish this drek of a game and at least feel only partially ripped off by a game that was far below expectations and prior quality bars set by the studio, as opposed to what I thought was being fully ripped off by a game that broke my character and wouldn't fix it.
Sad how happy I am that it *only* took 6 months to do something a console command could do in the time it take to type "toggle inq_voice_m_2"
Of course I just realized I haven't patched since... 2? My game ran perfectly fine, none of the CTD or stuttering, or fps issues... which I am led to believe have worsened in subsequent patches, so I may end up having my one beef fixed but replaced with the list everyone else has. We'll see.
I'll install tonight, try Thursday. Glued to the election results, and wing night tomorrow.
moving to another thread.
Yes, I just changed the Human male voice from American to English. Had to slide it back and forth a few times to get the voice to switch. Saved and exited from the mirror. Fast traveled to Haven to talk and test. It took.Would someone that still has this game installed on PC please let me know if the BE allows voice changes. That's good to hear! ![]()
Quantum physics. Works randomly every time. ![]()
Why can we not see the patch notes here? Why is Black Emporium not at the top, unless you really don't even care about it? Why are they not updated in the News and Announcements? Why are there community managers that have not signed on to the site since November?
Look, if you all aren't taking this game or your official forums serious any more, then just close them. I mean, whats the point? You hate our "toxicity" or some such nonsense anyway, so just close it down and go hang out with the marketing team.
I'm sorry I got a bit hyped about the Black Emporium. What can I say, I'm a sucker for punishment.
You know I still love DAI... but it could be so much more.
The only feeling I get from Bioware though is that are arrogant, don't listen, and only care about profits!
The profits are a good thing in that they can produce good voice acted, graphical games, that can sell well. However depth of play really suffers! You end up with a fun, good looking and sounding game with poor replayability, and no depth.
I mean who cares if it is not replayable... They sell it and get their money. You play it... once... maybe twice, then never see it again, but who cares... Bioware has their money!
Give the same funding to the producers of pillars of eternity, and divinity original sin!!! Then we will have awesome, deep, replayable RPGs!
Rant end!
Getting a lot of crashes. Especially when I try and go to the BE.
Game freezes and only way to exit is CTRL-ALT-DELETE. Reload and it seems ok. Also at the war table.
Also have a Remove All Armor Class Restrictions mod that works fine for me, Cass and Sera. Spits the dummy with Viv.
Very strange! Not game breaking, just unusual!

Oh they will start caring when suddenly no one buys their DLC any more, or their next crappy game.
And I agree, they come across very arrogant.
I mean who cares if it is not replayable...
More overwrought hyperbole. The game has nearly 200,000,000 hours of playtime. Am I to believe that none of those hours are replays?
