Anyone having trouble with BE?
Every time I try and use it, I crash and can only kill it with Task Manager.
My patience is starting to go south!

More overwrought hyperbole. The game has nearly 200,000,000 hours of playtime. Am I to believe that none of those hours are replays?
Playing hours are recorded from how long you are connected to Origin, not hours played.
I am supposed to have 1034 hours and I only installed DAI a week or two ago.
You keep saying "overwrought hyperbole", a tolerance course would do you well I think.
Chill!
I still resent the fact that EA claimed my 104 hours spent in DAI were enjoyed.
The game has nearly 200,000,000 hours of playtime.

Pretty much everyone is having trouble.
And anyone still claiming that Bioware is such an awesome developer, are clearly delusional. They can't even support their own game without breaking it further!
Redefining the definition of "incompetence".

Strange, with me Origin only counts the hours played not how long Origin is online.
The "chrashing" after installing BE we share and is annoying at best.
Kinda reminded of someone struggling in the desert that when given water, complains that it ain't chilled....
Nice hyperbole : actually, the Desert is DAI... ![]()
JPR out!
PS : 1. A barren or desolate area, especially:
Hehe, no, because that's "working as intended".
It's supposed to be dirt buildup.
And... yeah, TobyJ, I won't be using any mods (including the one that removes the dirt buildup "feature"!) until they've finished the patching cycle.
I only wished a togle off option

So, when I tried to go for Patch 7, it first showed me only 549 mb for some reason and now , I have to download 2.01 GB because my files have been corrupted. This patch has brought me more issues really. Now why doesn't that surprise me.
Overwrought - just like this thread.
Then move on you have nothing to contribute to this thread... Some may think the same about Elhanan but he, even though he really enjoys the game has contribute to the thread with concerns about the PC version which, news flash, is the purpose of this thread...
You say your "buttons" being pressed when someone calls you a troll, well my buttons are being pressed when a stuck up person like yourself comes to a thread named "PC community concerns" and dismiss all of the concerns. You don't see me spamming about how bad the game is on other threads where it makes no sense to do so.
On the new patch and black emporium, well that's the last one for me. I thought I would at least wait for the black emporium to be out as I thought it was a good time to make some bigger improvements on the game, it seems I was wrong. This is it for me, cya when Mass Effect 4 is out...
Question: Is it safe to update my ATI drivers now? I've got other games that are wanting the new driver. I'm stil using the beta version that was recommended on Nov. 20th.
I would have said, yes it's fine, I updated mine a while back to the 14.12 Omega, works great. For me. Which is why I would have said yes.
Updating to the new driver was a bad call. I'm only getting 5-6 FPS now. I'm not going to go back since this is actually the second update to the drivers since the beta was released on Nov. 19th. Good grief.
But this is strange.
As far as I can tell, the 14.12 is a very stable driver ... I easily hold 60 fps on a 1440p monitor with a couple of modest HD7950s in DA:I and a single one would be fine for a 1080p setup ... so it's *very* strange you're getting 5-6 fps.
What's your setup?
(specifically: GPU, CPU, OS, RAM and monitor resolution)
Even if they fix the controls im done with single player mmorpg-s with badly coded AI party for a while. It was a strange and new experience after playing real online ones though. Congratulations on the 200.000.000 hours played! I am proud to be one of the contributors to this achievement. If they keep supporting multiplayer with updates l might even reinstall it in the future for it.... Nah, Diablo 3 is the same thing but better.
Have a nice day everyone!
Went to play my game today, updates rendered it ....oh still updating? Rats!, 3 hours later and time for bed
, guess I couldn't play my game today.
Elhanan, enjoy, you are not playing this game, that is obvious.
But denied the ability to play I am here too, conversing with you. I feel you are probably in the same situation and truly feel for you.
Remaining less cryptic and more helpful to others can also lead to enlightenment.

For fiscal year 2015 EA was the #1 publisher on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One consoles in the world, driven by the success of Battlefield™Hardline, Dragon Age™: Inquisition, FIFA 15, NHL®15, Madden NFL 15, Battlefield 4™ and FIFA 14.
The only mention of DAI in the whole report, beside the it's been played for 200 gabillionzillion hours nonsense.
Once again certain people twisting things to make it look like DAI is some huge driver in digital sales when digital sales include mobile games and their micro transactions.

In today's earnings report [PDF] EA reported a (Non-GAAP) profit of $806 million from net revenue of $4.32 billion for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2015, driven primarily by sales of games like Battlefield Hardline and Dragon Age: Inquisition.
That's an increase of roughly 20 percent in revenue over the $3.58 billion EA reported for the 12 months prior, and almost $10 million more than the $4.25 billion in revenue the company predicted it would drum up this year.
The financial success of the game, whatever it may be, is ultimately irrelevant to the legitimacy of the complaints in this thread. Claiming the game was a rousing success (and EA certainly seems to be happy with its performance) does not weaken the complaints, and claiming that it was a failure does not bolster them. Argument ad financium remains a fallacy.
One relevant nugget of information is that the console market and the PC market did increase and decrease in revenue, respectively, versus the previous year's figures. So anyone saying that following consoles is following the market/money has that fact on their side. (This fact confers no moral or ethical standing on any person or behavior, of course; it merely is.)

Am currently between campaigns, as I finished the second, and attempting to choose which Inq to play next. But I was able to play and test the BE DLC yesterday using full patches with no crashes, bugs, or glitches. Based on many of the posts seen here, I am starting to believe that a middle range GPU (ie; GTX 670) with upgraded drivers might be giving me an advantage, as opposed to higher end cards with fewer and lesser driver updates; unconfirmed.
I actually was thinking the same thing. I had only one instance of a crash with NVidia directex. Well, it was 3 in a row. During the first time I finished Halamshiral. Crashed at the end of the loooong cutscene, which was annoying. I shut the game off, came back later and got through the scene. second playthrough was with new drivers, and no problems at all.
I have a GTX 660.
I'm finding it rather bizarre that the game is having problems with higher end graphics cards.

Sadly, and I really hate to admit this because it means I am agreeing with Elhanan, EA doesn't give a good god damn about what our concerns are. The numbers for the sales are the most telling to them. Regardless of what we think the game is, EA, right now, is laughing all the way to the bank. Like the game or hate it, enjoy it or not, EA won this round.
Dammit all.....
