I just think it should be common knowledge that these games don't come out perfect at launch just look at Skyrim, Dragon's Dogma, etc. or even scroll back to the previous game's boards and see how common it was then. An enjoyable game experience is hardly asking for much at the cost of $60 or more depending on if you opted for Deluxe Edition, but expecting it to be flawless at launch is silly -- expecting a playable game on the other hand isn't, which is why these bugs/CTD/issues need to reach Bioware. I'm not exactly happy myself since it keeps freezing at inopportune moments, just cut the BS "never buying again, etc" and post the issues -- so it can get patched and updated (I can't give a timeframe but hopefully soon) right now that's all that really matters and if you think it's STILL a crappy game after the patches/fixes well then...
Bioware, say your prayers.

go back to playing the game then since its working perfectly for you. I swear its cause people like you games launch in such a bad state cause you defend companies like they are your parents or something. People noticed many of these issues before launch and all people like you said were "wait till launch", now its "you are entitled" or "wait till patch every game is broken at launch". When patches fix nothing or take months to come all you will say is "wait till next game".
I'm not defending Bioware, I'm critiqueing people like you with 0 adaptability, who make up this fantasy game in their head and then, when it's not like their illusions, go totally nuts.

Been seeing lots of entitled posts from people lately, reminds me of the huffy spoiled schoolkid that crosses his arms and throws a fit because he can't have cake before dinner. Look lots of games come out that have bugs in them that slip through the cracks, that is why there are things called patches that are downloaded for free that make the problems go away. Anyone with a modicum of understanding of how video games work knows this and is expecting a Day 1 patch as well as future updates to fix/update issues to make the experience better. When will the patches be available for DAI I can't say, but the devs are working on it for sure.
Bugs? The whole PC controls fiasco is not even close to a bug. It is a complete disregard on their part.

Ok all hail your totally factually correct and godly opinion. Why are you here on the forums exactly since your game is working so flawlessly well?

I, for one, am not really defending BioWare. Simply stating that logging on to BSN and spewing out weird, threatening troll topics is useless. And, frankly... wtf else can you do besides wait for a potential fix? It's not like this thread will be taken into serious consideration by Bioware, especially given the creepy title.
Also, your generalizations are uncalled for. You're throwing all of the people who are against your viewpoint into one big bucket: the "people like you" bucket. In fact, the guy/gal who you're replying to made nothing of an attempt to defend Bioware - he/she simply made a generalization about the inhabitants of this forum being whiny. While the generalization is wrong, and ofc not every forumgoer is whiny, I do see plenty of useless whining to be honest. For example, this thread. It addresses no specific problem, and serves no purpose beyond, "Omg biowere u betrayed me I won't by from u no moar!!!!!".
tl:dr for pretty much every one of my posts on this thread: there is literally no point in venting your frustrations here on the BSN - it will not fix or change anything. This thread reeks of troll and is pointless; the OP was weird asf. Still not over the whole "say your prayers" thing. That's just tacky.

umm...not sure what the complaints are about the game not working on PCs, I'm running it on an older machine which is by no means bleeding edge and have had no problems. Maybe take care of your OS better?

You're spending your time very wisely though, it seems.
Especially since, you, with your godly powers of being right all the time, knew way before launch everything was gonna be crap, but pre ordered the game anyway . And now you're here, making a big deal of things you already knew.
Hilarious, and kinda cute.

So is the 360 port as far as I'm concerned, after every major scene it's a guaranteed freeze.

This is weird. "Say your prayers" why?
Because if Bioware doesn't modify the game (patches) for all the issues that A LOT of players have got then Bioware will lose A LOT of support for future games. Especially for PC users.
By the way...DA:O and DAII....I still play with no problems at all. (And love still) Yes, I know those games were made with a different engine.

I see a lot of pc players having trouble I cant see the game being realesed/ getting good reviews if its unplayable for them.
Maybe for some its your computers? I remember seeing alot of post around the web of people saying that there computers don't meet the requirements or that they just meet the requirements and that they would force their computers to play it anyway.

Yes, many people who decided their dual core pc was good enough, even though it was explicitly stated the game needs quad core.
But I suppose that's Bioware's fault (lol)

Lot of players are having issues but BW has promised to look into PC issues (one the New and announcements subforum). You might want to head there to look what they have to say.
I think that DAI would need to have more testing though before they ship the game. There seems be lot of issues and bugs on many different platforms. Still, old gen has it worst.
