Liara, she was smart and her constant thoughts about staying at a place longer to study everything was funny.

Wrex, so much so that on the 1 playthrough I killed his ass on Virmire, I never finished the playthrough.

Wrex. I got caught up in the story and went to Virmire without doing his sidequest first. I planned on doing it, but obviously, that didn't happen on my first playthrough. I was pretty heartbroken. My next playthough, I made this a priority, and that's the save I went with into ME2.



I named a kitten I raised after him, but I ran him over pulling out of my driveway at about four or five months. He was sleeping behind my tire with his brother, Theo Deluxe. Well, as it turned out, I had to drop my gf home that morning as well, so she was there for the entire ordeal, making it infinitely worse. Wrex didn't make it and Theo has half a tail now. I guess fate was disappointed that I didn't stick with my first playthrough.



It's been almost two years now since then, and I still check under my tires daily before heading to work.

Like DreVan said, a strong female character, which doesn't want to be Lara Croft is new...and realistic too?

Garrus. The interaction between Garrus and Shepherd in the mission where you go take down Dr. Saleon is the best interaction in the game, IMO. Especially if you choose not to kill Saleon at first. He gets exasperated at Shepherd to the point of disbelief, then comes around and gives Sheperd a deep, heartfelt compliment. WAY better than Wrex's generic, "Hey, I'm a badass, and I think everything sucks" comments.

I'd have to say that Kaiden was my favorite character. His back story was interesting on all the testing that they did on the biotics at the space station.

I liked Wrex his attitude got him kudos immediately however I never used him because I was a soldier and he dind't fit my play style.

Tali always liked the tech people don't really know why second goes to Garrus or Wrex

Toss-up between Liara and Kaidan. They were my go-to teammates, I went everywhere with them. I liked Tali well enough, and Garrus, but I couldn't stand Ashley and Wrex.



Of the non-squad characters I really liked Captain Anderson, Talitha, Shiala, the Asari Councilor, Captain Kirrahe, Fai Dan, Nihlus, Doctor Chakwas and Joker.

My favorite squad mates were Kaidan and Garrus.



But I also like Captain Anderson, Joker, Nihlus and Saren.



Really, the only character I violently disliked was Udina. lol

Garrus Vakarian, hands down. No matter what Shepard I play, he is a permanent squad mate.

Non-squad people would be Kirrahe and Nihlus.

Least favorites are Ashley and Liara, Garrus grates on my nerves a bit too.

I liked Ashley.. Believe it or not!!! She's a soldier and have som harsh experience. And why not beleive in god?!?

Ashley wasnt my favorite but i do not understand the flak she gets. Everyone carries prejudices and she just so happened to have suffered hardships earlier in life which lead to her developing such prejudices. But its up to Shepard to grow her character and make her see the folly of her ways. Pretty much the basis for many romantic cliques lol. Still i liked her character and was my favorite of the LIs.



Overall i liked everyone in the crew, but my favorite was Wrex, for obvious reasons.



For NPCs-Captain Anderson. Loved when he socked Udina. Dirty politicians.

My fav was Captain Anderson. I hated Tali i never wanted her on the mission but udina force me too. I dont give a crap about pilgrimage

i liked Kaiden the most, and he'll always be one of my 2 partners in ME1. garrus was interesting, but after getting to know wrex, i think he's freaking awsome. Using him + Kaiden on 2nd playthrough (which will be the onei use for ME2, ad my first time i forgot to do a ton of sidequests :s)

Wish i could have Capt. Anderson. He's such a respectable badass. WTG with punching Udina!

Weirdly nough, Ashley never grew on me like liara and Tali did...esp consdiering I loved Morrigan of all people in DA:O so you'd think id like Ash. Had to give a /salute though when she gladly let herself be sacrificed. ( Must...save...Kaiden!)

I'd have to go with Captain Anderson. Everytime I hear Keith David speak, I think of him in a brawl with Roddy Pipper over a pair of sunglasses.
