Not sure about the Hinterlands, but I found one in the western approach. After the venatori way point there are 3 question marks. The logging stand is between those two points in a ravine.
This one made me laugh. It's there alright... in the middle of the desert... in a spot mostly devoid of trees...
I guess they cut them all down.

Fine, I disagree. BUT, even still there are no spoilers in the thread title, no way to read the thread without clicking on the thread. Therefore, if you came here and had the location of logging stands and quarries spoiled and now want to cry foul... Would you smash a car window when you see a PS4 box in the car then complain when you get arrested because they shouldn't have left the PS4 in the car?

There is an inquisition perk that reveals them on the map.
Has anyone found the Crestwood logging stand? It is supposed to be right next to that lady who is like praying for the dead or something, there is also a landmark there. I searched all around her and can't find it.... I wonder if it is inside the stone walls or outside of them....
Important update! I just found out that the Inquisition Perk "Forward Scouts" (located under secrets, I think) labels quarries and logging stands on every map. So that's neat.

If you do that perk where you can see the logging stands, etc. do you get the option to fast travel to more places? Or it is still just the camps/towns?

That's too bad, there should be perk that allows you to warp to more places, I hate running around all the mountains, it takes forever.
