Could be an interesting feature for character creation. That way, you don't know what you would get during your playthrough...or subsequent playthroughs.

You can select a random world state in the Keep ![]()
- Select or create a world state you wish to edit, and make it the current one, using the "World States" page
- Once the world is active, open the "globe" menu
- Select the icon next to the padlock option (3rd from left)
- Accept the prompt when shown, that you wish to change the world state
You can also lock specific choices you want to ensure happen, and then select to randomize - this will let you have a few specific plots in place, and have all other content randomly set, if you want to be *almost random ![]()

The cool part of that is the fact that you don't necessarily get happy endings and whatnot, you know? For some of my playthroughs I do unrealistically happy conclusions, but it'd be cool to have otherwise. Not to mention that if you aren't making it yourself it furthers the sense that your Inquisitor is a completely separate person. You know nothing about Hawke and the Warden other than what you've heard in tales and read in lore. A neat way of looking at it. Hmm, maybe I'll try it.
