Hi. So I did most of this Western Approach quest, and I think I've gotten towards the end.

The objective is 'Track down Servis in the Western Approach'.

I've gone to the mission objective, slaughtered everything, and nothing, just a pointer. I've looked around for 10 minutes for clues, but I don't feel that's the goal. Is this a bug, can anyone else share their experience of this quest?

Thanks.

Ironically I'm stuck on that quest because it says to "Investigate the area" after capturing him. Not really sure what to do with that and there aren't any markers...

Edit: I still had to seal the hole, hahaha!

Same as CIA. Followed the mission all of the way up to the marker (and have checked a few tutorials online) and I have no one to quiz. There isn't a body (or someone barely alive) in the area. :-\

I guess I'll have to come back to this once it's fixed.

yup, same for me as well, servis isn't up there where the quest marker points to.  Delay the game for a month and theres still bugged quests.  I think EA shouldn't be allowed to buy up any game companies.

Keep on going back and forth between skyhold and the area where he's supposed to be each time I load a new session, hoping he'll be there. He's definitely not where everyone is saying he should be! :(

Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I have played this quest a dozen times and each time I get to Servis, he just gets killed by my party. There is no lingering discussion or bringing him back to Skyhold. He just fizzles away on the ground like any other NPC in battle. Cannot complete the quest.

Little disappointing.

That's a bad glitch because Servis cannot be killed until the inquisitor makes a decision on his fate; bring him back to Skyhold for judgement or kill him there and then.

This quest still buggy? *moan*

Here's what happened in a playthrough of mine:

I killed Servius and went over to him and picked "Leave him for dead but I forgot I was suppose to close a darkspawn hole in that mini dungeon with the giant as a "boss"

I closed the hole but it still registered a marker where Servius is supposed to be but he wasn't there.

The mission became permanently glitched.

So here's what I did in a different playthroughs:

I closed the darkspawn hole in the mini dungeon with the giant as a "boss" with two different characters.

I killed Servius and had one character pick "take him for questioning" while the other character I "leave him for dead"

The mission completed as normal.

I think the big factor that causes the mission to "glitch" is that dumb darkspawn hole you need to close in the mini dungeon. If you don't close the hole BEFORE YOU FIGHT SERVIUS then THE GAME WILL HAVE THIS QUEST PERMANENTLY BE INCOMPLETE.

Dumb but it seems to be true. Maybe they should seal the exit door leading to servius or something to have this mission be unglitchable.

Same problem here... The NPC disappears and can't do the quest.

For me, the problem seemed to be that he was obsessed with hugging a wall. Every time I killed him, he got stuck up against it and I couldn't talk to him. I finally decided to re-load and use the upgraded Spinning Blades ability to toss him away from his precious wall. He kept walking back to it during the fight, but I was eventually able to fling him away one last time and killed him. Sure enough, I was finally able to talk to him, and the quest completed for me. Still annoying though.
