After returning from the future, it seems like there should be a dialogue wheel, but I'm stuck staring at my HUD

Tried reloading a save before the boss, and it just happens again.

Happened to me too, but I got past it. I think it's because they haven't put the "ignore mouse clicks" check at the that point, and clicking ruptures the conversation camera.

 

 

Do the fight again then immediately PUT YOUR HANDS ON YOUR LAP AND DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING until that conversation launches.

This is happening to me as well and I'm unable to progress through the game.  I've tried reloading from a previous save and restarting the game 5 times and I'm getting rather tired of that boss fight.  Tried the suggestion of not touching mouse or anything until this scene comes up but it didn't help, still stuck with no dialogue wheel.  I really hope there's a fix for this soon.

That's what mine is doing as well. When I can get the game to run, that is. Having to run it in Compatibility mode which works about 50% of the time. When I get to this screen, I also get the combat bar at the bottom with my spells, too. Sadly it won't let me attack anyone. :/

 

Edit: Reloaded my computer, and the game. Finally got it on try number 3. So happy to see those soldiers marching in!

Eventually I got so tired of the cutscene that I button mashed to skip everything, even all through the scene you can't skip, and it worked

Bless your face, this worked for me.  It took 2 tries though.  The first time I mashed escape to skip stuff and clicked dialogue choices with the mouse, then when I went through the portal I was still stuck.  The second time I mashed escape and used the number keys to choose dialogue, and that worked.  Not sure if the mouse is part of the problem there or not, but, at least I am finally past this point.  Thank the Maker.

Ok,so I noticed in the screenshot that there is  a windows container... are you playing the game on an Xbox One though? I see the One controls in the powers wheel. Or are you playing on PC and using an Xbox controller?

I'm also having this problem. I've tried reloading a previous save, repairing the game and then reloading, and mashing the ESC button to skip dialogue. Nothing has worked for me yet.

I'm having the same issue on the PC.  Nothing has worked for me.

Add another to this horrible bug. Game is unplayable and I'm close to requesting a refund.

I had this happen to me twice last night.  What I wound up doing was loading a save from right before the fight (just to be safe), then exiting completely out of the game.  I then re-entered the game and returned to the autosave right as the fight started.  The 'shut down and restart' did the trick, and I was able to advance, but this is a completely ridiculous bug that really could (and should!) have been caught.

Playing on pc with an xbox controller. Saw people complaining about the walking thing, figured there would be other issues too, so I bought a controller when I picked up my game
