I see sconces on walls in hinterlands dungeon, but cant click or use hand to use it.. perhaps its an ability you get later dont know.. but what about use of Torch the dungeon is so dark dark dark... i tried to use mage to cast to see even a little ahead.. any clues on how to traverse?

Mages can interact with the "energize icons".

Solas can not activate it either .. all he does is fire his spells at it .. right clicking it does nothing the little silver logo next to the sconce icon .. for clicking is greyed/silver assuming that if it was able to use you could in fact see that as gold. but im unsure about this. Which is why I need answers here. I saw a video where someone went up to the energize .. on some dungeon and the herald uses hand on it greenspell runs thru and it opens.. the thing is that they are all over in the dungeon im speaking of and there isnt away to click it or use.  phantom88 .. how do you click it with the mage you have are you saying maybe you must be a mage herald as i am a warrior herald. .. ? hard to say .. probably could film it to show. if i dont get answer ill do that.

I'm a warrior herald also I just used Solas to interact with the energize points. Not sure why yours isn't, maybe a bug?

Yeah i can confirm that Solas is the one that activates those, are you on pc or console?

OK ! THE KEY to this problem is Your MAGE whomever it is probably solas.. NEEDS to be standing right on it practically to energize ( use it left click or right cant remember) it will either light a flame or it will lift off the entry whatever the case.. so this one is answered thanks for the help. Im still trying to work on Passing Notes tho as the item is not where it says it should be. Or anywhere in the vicinity so far. Been in the house too using V over an over nothing is shown yet. could be bugged.
