I don't really like either of them.. We need a strong deep thick Australian accent.. If we think north american for Dwarves, french of Orlesians, welsh for Elves, not sure what you would call Fereldens, the only Australian in the entire game is Morrigan.

No accent works properly for dwarves at the moment... I want Irish accent, I want my dwarves to talk like the fat guy from the Austin Powers movie :3

You want to sound more like Nyreen from Mass Effect 3: Omega DLC the pick the American voice.

Want to sound more like Samantha Traynor from Mass Effect 3 then pick the English voice.

The female american voice is too butchy mcbutch butch, so no way I'm ever gonna use that. The British voice on the other hand is near perfect.

While the British voice doesn't work for the Qunari, the American voice doesn't work either. And frankly I don't think the American voice actress did a very good job.

Totally disagree. I think the american female voice is fine.

The only voice I'm a little annoyed by is the male british voice, because he sounds so completely surprised and baffled every time he asks a question.

Pretty sure Claudia black is putting on a typical British accent. She sounds like me.

Depends on your race. Default (ie left) is British for human/elf, but American for qunari/dwarf.

I actually prefer Sumalee's voice.  The Brittish voice reminded me of Samantha Traynor way too much... it became somewhat distracting (and even the deeper tones sounded somewhat forced and annoying ).
Although I was was initially put off by the american voice, she actually got a lot better.  Be it aggressive, diplomatic or caring.

I'm not a native speaker too, so for me it's the matter of what I like more. I love British accent, but I was worried Alix will sound like Traynor too much (I didn't like Traynor at all :( , I'm very sorry, but I didn't). I was wrong and Alix did amazing job <3 . So far I play only fem Adaars, all with British accent. I can't imagine any other voice for my QunQuisitors. Thank you Alix <3

Well i still have a problem with the voices. frankly the male I am like meh. The "right one" sounds a bit cowboyish and not macho enough for a qunari male. The "left voice" sounds a bit british and sounds great for humans and maybe elves but dwarves and qunari are a big no.

Female wise I feel the "right track" sounds very european english (in my opinion) while I do agree the "left track" sounds very americanish.

It all depends on what type of character you want to play. For females, regardless of race, Alix's voice can sound to wispy and not strong enough if you are trying to play a tough forceful IQ. For that role, Sumalee's voice is perfect.

The British voice is fine, but it just sounds too youngish to me.

Used the American one on my elf mage, I had a blast. At first it was strange to see this cute elf speaking with a deep voice, but then I thought it was kinda cool.

Plus, I used Sumalee Montano's voice on a couple of runs on Saints Row IV, it was great to think the Inquisitor had something in common with the Boss.

It's totally different in the german version. Because of the lack of german accents (we have a lot of dialects though). Instead they gave us a old and a young sounding voice which is pretty nice too.

I agree, it's good they gave us an older and a younger voice. Just, I think I won't be able to use the older voice without thinking of

What we really need is an Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonator voicing a qunari.

The North American female voice sounds absolutely appalling to me, she sounds like a miserable lunch lady or factory worker. I can't imagine anyone picking that voice over Alix'.

I thought Sumalee was perfectly fine for my elf.

The American actors were awful. There is no voice inflection for either of them, and thus they seem monotoned and unemotional. I think both -- especially the American female -- were so busy trying to give themselves deep voices that they forgot to inflect. Oh, so, so bad. >.<

I picked the British accents for both my male and female elven Inquisitors, not because I think an RP accent is "superior," but because they sounded more like my own soft spoken American voice than the gruff American choices did.

I love the American voice for all my female characters, and dislike the British female voice because it's way too high-pitched... and it sounds a bit too affected, over-acted. The American female voice sounds more genuine. That said, I use the British female voice for the two elven females I've run because "affected and over-acted" kinda suits their personalities better. YMMV.

While I love the timbre of Jon Curry's voice and I generally like the delivery, there are a few times he struggled with the script. Maybe he found the phrasing awkward or something. Thinking about one of the lines in question, I would *definitely * have had trouble with the line, so I can't fault him for that. I still use the American voice for all my qunari and dwarven males because I really like his voice, but I wince a bit when he hits the tricky lines. I liked the British male voice, too, and I found the delivery to be a lot more authentic-sounding than the British female voice, but it might have been just a shade too high pitched. It's a pity they didn't manage to implement the ability to modify the pitch of the preset voices. That would have been amazing.

I'm trying to think of the precise line, and I'm coming up with a blank. It was something he said during WEWH, when asking Briala about her relationship with Celene. It was as if he started going in one direction at the beginning of the line and changed mental gears halfway through.
