1) What is the series of grey symbols above Cassandra's health bar?

2) What is the blue thing that sometimes appears around me?

3) How to I equip the qunari only helmet I have?

4) Does stealth give me extra damage when I come out of it?

1) That represents the guard she has generated with abilities such as Shield Wall

3) Is there also a level requirement? If you're a qunari and are high enough level for the helmet, or there isn't any requirement, then I don't know, sounds like a bug.

The blue thing around your health bar is barrier

1) the gray bar is Guard. It is a resource warriors can build with several abilities, that protects them from damage. Until that gray bar is gone, the warrior will not take damage, as it takes it in place of their health.
2) The blue bar is a spell that mages cast called Barrier. It works exactly like guard in that it takes damage in place of your health until it is depleted. The diference is that mages can cast it on others, and that it decays over time. Whereas guard will stay at what it is until the warrior takes damage.

Managing both guard and barrier is important to keep tanks and other party members alive in Inquisition, as there are no longer any healing spells, and you do not regenerate health over time.

3) if you are Qunari and you are still unable to equip the helmet, it is most likely that you are not a high enough level. If you are, I suggest contacting Bioware and letting them know about the bug.

4) Yes, as the tooltip of stealth suggests, attacking from stealth gives a 50% damage bonus. There are other bonuses for damage that you can get for stealth through other skills, such as ignoring armor, or making an attack skill deal more damage.

Okay, I'm not getting any tooltips and my qunari can't equip the face paint, so I guess those are bugs.

Thank you for the info on guard and barrier. I appreciate it.
