Dialogue Mechanics Bugs/Oddities

A few things I’ve noted (PC). None are game-breaking, but annoying enough to go on the fix list nonetheless:

 

— The option numbers and/or placements change. (FWIW, pulling things out of subselections is OK and nice to have, but the rest of the UX needs just slight rethink).

 

— There’s still no clear indication of when a character has something new to say.

 

— Some characters, particularly Cass and Varric, seem to have some dialogue choices that stick (and therefore seem like there’s something new there) even though I’ve already gone through the discussion…

 

— …Except sometimes there IS something new but it looks exactly like the old one and I can’t tell the difference.

 

— A/D camera pan is inverted in dialogue.

 

— Sometimes it’s hard to hit the option with a mouse (but there are other cases where the game seems to lose mouse focus so it could be just symptomatic).
