So I initially shrugged off the Longbow of the Griffon because it couldn't compete with my other bow in terms of perks and long range capability all around.

However, using it on my Hunter who is specialized in mobility and positioning, I treat it like a shotgun and it is amazing.

Haha. This pretty much confirms my suspicion that Routine doesn't give you better gear, ever. Don't have a single goddamn purple item or alternate character armor yet and I've grinded pretty hard with all 3 starter classes.

I play exclusively on Routine, and most of my alternate armours for the starter three kits came from treasure rooms. However, the best gear I've received is from Large Chests.

I got the tongue of serpents today.. would have liked a nice unique shield or longsword or even an axe.. I have not unlocked a character who can even use the blasted thing yet.. if I knew I would get some good resources from it I'd tear it apart but the bet is, if I rip it apart I will only get 1 iron or something from the blasted thing.

If you are wondering about the description, it basically is talking about how the dagger was won over a game of cards between two crows.

Got this shield also over the weekend for my templar and legionnaire. So far this is the best shield I have seen in the game. Currently I'm also using a one handed rare level 22 axe that does 285 dps. It has a superb Ice rune and Ive used T3 mats to give it 15% armor penetration. It goes nicely with my rare 10% armor penetration ring. Has anyone seen a better one handed weapon for a warrior? I'm still hoping for a level 23 unique axe but no one has posted one so they may not even be in the game.
