A complete buggy, unstable mess. Absolutely unplayable most of the time for me. Game either doesn't load or gets stuck in black screeen. Constant desyncs during matches. Constant crashes (which I suppose are causing the desyncs for those other players), you spawn with all quickslot bindings blank (can't use any powers) or what I just experienced, you spawn and can't move (as if someone disabled my WASD keys, the entire party of four people couldn't move around -  basic attacks and powers worked, but you simply stayed glued to the starting spot).

I really wanted to give DAMP a fair first impression and wanted to wait things out until I can give feedback on how it actually works, but case in point: it doesn't work. At least for me.

If the debug team needs more informations:

My rig:

i5 3570K

GTX 660Ti (344.75 driver version)

8GB 1600MHz RAM

Windows 7 64bit

Internet is 50Mbps down and 10Mbps up.

Will be happy to assist with more information if anyone from BioWare needs something more specific and asks me, anything to help get this thing working for me.

While being unable to play a game is always unacceptable, these are technical issues not gameplay ones.  So far I have yet to encounter any real issues on the PS4 version.  PCs are always more complex so give them a week to sort things out.  Besides, do any PC games launch without issues any more?  Also, this sounds like a post for the Technical Support forum, not Combat Strategy.

There is no techical support forum. Any technical help fora EA employs are strictly player-to-player. And another person that's not involved with QA for DAI can hardly solve those issues for me.

Did you even try looking for one?  It's right there under the Multiplayer forums.  Anyway, best of luck but this is still not the place for this topic.

I've had one loading screen freeze and a couple hosts with bad internet (one of which was able to fix the problem mid game and we had no lag afterward)

No other problems after 3 days of nothing but damp

I ran into the "blank hotbars" thing on my first run and ended up leaving the game because I had no abilities. I reset the keybindings on them and it worked fine the next one.

My main issues with DAMP so far is that they seem to have made a number of really weird design decisions like no respec cards or push to talk on PC.

and a bit of lagging in some games, but that's a flaw in the P2P system that they use. If I continue to play lots of DAMP i'll just use my ME3MP strategy of hosting my own games.

I'd be willing to bet respec cards will come eventually, but if not just prestige. My templar is only like lvl 7 and I already look forward to prestiging for respec.

Hosting my own games definitely solved the p2p issue.

You mean the EA Answer HQ, the one that I've said is player-to-player only? The kind of help forum that can't do squat about my issues because they don't have anything to do with those who make the game?

I suggest you improve your reading comprehension.

My general problem is that I don't really like promoting. It just feels like I'm going backwards with my character rather than progressing.

I mean, I'm still gonna do it because they really badly want me to with the other rewards added to it, but i'm not gonna like it =P

I'm more concerned about the lack of push to talk on PC than I am anything else right now with DAMP.

Um...prestiging adds stats to all characters.

You're holding yourself back if you DONT prestige.

Also, you keep the gear, which is harder to get than levels. Hell, 1 win on routine takes you from lvl 1 to 5. Second win gets you lvl 7.

This.

You should promote your character if you intend on playing him as your main or often.

I promoted my assassin and it took 1 win in Threatening the first game, to get him to 7.

That's what I was talking about with the other rewards.

But I still don't like sending my characters back to level 1, even if I can re-level fairly quickly.

Dude. The guy is trying to help you. Not sure why you are being a total ingrate, but you could try to be a bit more respectful and come of less as a whiny child.

I looked through the EA Answer HQ and after skimming it lightly, it seemed to me that they have helped quite a few people.

I report functional issues that aren't playerside and get told to use a player-to-player help forum. That isn't helping. My first response was polite enough, I became a "total ingrate" after the same user insinuated I don't know **** and am unwilling to look for help when he obviously had no idea what kind of help forum he was referring me to.

I would suggest you also try to improve your reading comprehension. In that case I wouldn't have to repeat the bleeding obvious: the EA answer HQ does not offer official support. It's only purpose is for players to help other players with problems. And since my problems are hardly the user error variety, they can't help me.

Can you keep promoting to add an infinite amount of stats to characters, or does it only work the first time?

And how much is really +3 cunning anyway... and what does it do?

That question is outside the scope of my thread. You're more likely to get answers somewhere else in this forum and don't fully understand the mechanics of the game to give you an ad-hoc answer.

I'm running into the exact same problems, namely stuck in place with no UI, heavy desync especially moving, and random crashes in combat.

My rig is more than capable to run two instances of the game with no sweat:

i7 4790k 4.8Ghz

GTX 970 x2

Corsair Dominator 16GB 1866MHz

Windows 8.1 64bit

It's worth noting that the game runs smooth as diarrhea on single player, both in terms of framerate and stability (no crash).

I had two games last night where we cleared wave 5, no enemies left, but the screen was still telling us to kill all the enemies.  Everyone ran around shooting each other until the game finally kicked us or the host left or something i dont know

Okay seriously, WTF IS WRONG WITH THIS ****???

I get the "can't move" bug EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to play the MP now. The entire party can't get away from the starting spawn. Tried playing MP three times right now, three times the same gamebreaking bug. How did an error that's appearing so frequently ever pass QA?

PS4 player here.

I have had a few matches (both as the host as well as joining a match) where I am unable to rotate the camera. I can still run around, jump, use abilities, and interact with the environment, but I am unable to rotate the view with the right thumb stick.

So far the only fix I have found is to close out of the game and restart  :(

Whatever. My christmas present to BioWare is a refund request. SP is only marginally less buggy than MP. I do not pay for broken products. Will take a closer look again after patches fix the stability issues and the bugs, but this, no. Just no.

DAMP gameplay might be fun if you're all running your systems in the same room like Bioware's QA do but when you keep getting matched up with Russians and Americas and yet live closer to Australians.... seems like they didn't learn the right things from ME3MP. Especially since even movement seems host checked now, with lots of little rubberbanding points everywhere.

yes, the stuttering when running is ******.  It'd be nice if we could see the network latency of the host of the lobby when joining.

A friend noticed that during combat it becomes smoother which seemed like it to mee too... Anybody else?
