I'm trying to play the game on my PS3 (don't have a current gen console), and the game goes right into trying to log in to the DA servers, but it won't connect. The circle just keeps twirling around and around to no avail. 

 

I've heard people are still able to actually start playing the game even without logging into the servers, but that isn't even an option for me. Without the log in, I can't play AT ALL. I'm completely stuck with a useless $70 game that I can't even play, not even with a default world state, which I would take at this point.

 

Has anyone else ever heard of this issue, or is actually having it, too?

If I did, that wouldn't it mean not being able to connect to the servers? I need to keep my wi-fi turned on to connect to the internet in general. How else would I connect to the servers without the wi-fi?

Are you able to play at all, like can you just go to the game's main menu and start playing with a default world state?
