This is the thing.. This is why gaming companies screws us over. They say its made for PC and suddenly it works better with controller. Its like going down on you're knees and just start sucking on it... We have to make this **** correct. We ain't no damn ball to bounce a round how they feel like. They need to advertise their product correctly, not how they get the best amount of money.  I feel so violated after this bullshit.

If somebody needs reminder:

Hugest load of bullshit ever!

Indeed! Never trust another word these guys speak. The proof is in the product, or it's not.

I feel like a damn fool for taking Mike at his word. A damned fool!

CDProject RED - The Witcher series.

While not a fan of Witcher, I do agree that CDProject's policy on gaming is the best, not even one of the best, but the best.

+1 for the worst PC Controls I've ever seen. If you're not playing this on a controller, on PC, then I feel bad for you; because you shouldn't have to.

Thanks for taking a beloved series on PC and turning it into Console GARBAGE.

Man.. Ubisoft FAILS, and now Bioware FAILS. Who the hell can we turn to these days to do a game right?

CD PROJEKT RED mate. Now this is a true pc developer. The last one i trust and the only one right now im willing to pre-order. For everyone else ? Well for everyone else its the bargain bin.

Very very disapointed whit what they did to the game .... Dont get me wrong the story, the characters, lore , locations - all exalent - but whats the freaking point if every move and fight is a strugle whit the bloody controls ?

Why is it a different game?  What features make it not a Dragon Age game?

I'm curious if you are saying it's different because you are disappointed it's not like parts 1 and 2 of the series, or that you think everyone else is playing it the wrong way and you knew it was going to be different all along.

Because what we were told from Bioware all spring, summer and fall was crystal clear about what kind of game this was going to be.

To me it plays like a third-person action game now, not a tactical party-based RPG at all. That's why you have to walk up to things and press 'F' to get them or read them, that's why you barely ever need to pause or take control of your teammates even on hard, that's why all the encounters are random spawns in the field and not designed combat scenarios like the previous games.

It's just not the same game anymore, so the controls are the least of my issues with it. If they patch in click-to-move and such it's still not gonna be Origins.

Bioware was the last company I thought would disappoint PC gamers like this. Controls are absolutely atrocious!!!

Have you not been around the last couple years?

Is DA:I's "Made By PC Gamers For PC Gamers" going to be the new "No ABC Endings" that ME3 had?

If so, I would say that is a much easier fix as well as a much smaller transgression (patch controls over the next month versus completely crashing and burning the story of a three-volume franchise).

It's "press a button and something awesome happens" all over again...

I don't use tactical mode, and I never will. 'Tis an abomination unto the Maker and all His creation.

The main issue is that you can't keybind the left mouse button.  Many of us PC gamers use the left mouse button to move in everything we play, from World of Warcraft, Skyrim, Guild Wars 2, SWTOR, Secret World... even LA Noire had an option that let you keybind the left mouse button for movement if that was your choice and that was far removed from most RPGs.  It was possible in both DA and DA2 to move with the mouse, so it wasn't outside of reality for us to expect we could use it here as well.

In the options, you can invert/switch the mouse buttons so that LMB=move, interact and RMB=attack.  Not a perfect solution, but it made play MUCH more intuitive for me...

Still makes no sense.  Attack, Move and Interact can all be done on the same freaking mouse button assuming the target icons are coded properly and the mouse cursor reacts in turn.

Again..  they did this in 2009!  It worked perfectly!  200_s.gif

Won't argue with that. Just sharing my partial solution in case it made things easier for someone else.

Yes, I would very much like Bioware to explain that statement and let us know just HOW IN GOD'S NAME this is a game made for PC?
