Just making a separate post about this as it is utterly ludicrous that it needs to be addressed.

 

I have this mouse.  I do not have the Set Point software installed for it, never have.  And every game I have played for the last 5 years (at least), has allowed those 3 additional buttons to be mapped in Keybindings.  Many people have gamer mouses with even more buttons that are detected at low level instructions as well.

 

BF4 (the engine this game uses) allowed this before a single patch came out for it.  And BF4 has had aloooooot of patches.

 

C'mon Bioware, this was not caught in 3 months of pc QA?  Really?

Just one of MANY issues this game has. Here's to hoping they get their act together and fix this and all the other PC issues.

Just got done playing through DA2 and mouse button 4 is my 'highlight objects' button.

 

Do NOT intend on having to hold down a keyboard button for that ever again...

Yea my Middle finger's are starting to hurt after playing all day today. One always pushing down the W and the other to rotate camera.
